More than three months have already passed since Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro and because Developer ROM has been delayed, many people started spreading false rumors about the version allegedly being canceled. Such however is not the case as there is no official announcement from Xiaomi regarding any cancellation whatsoever. The reason why Developer ROM has been delayed is because Xioami China temporarily closed the internal testing channel (closed beta) due to maintenance issues. However maintenance is over and the internal testing channel has been opened again while certain eligible users have already been accepted for the first tests. As I've read on the Chinese forums, Developer ROM will be released during Q2 of this year. After internal testing is over it will be made available to everyone. We can expect the release sometime this month or at the very latest at the end of June.
So far internal testing has been successful with no major bugs affecting the device. The release of Developer ROM for Redmi Note 7 Pro is just around the corner! I will leave some screenshots taken from MIUI China Forums below:

As soon as China Developer ROM will be released to the public we can expect Indian (Global) Developer ROM to follow suit.

MIUI China Stable ROM 10.3.5.0 has also been released. We can expect an EU Stable ROM for the Redmi Note 7 Pro as well.

Hello all,
I just received the Redmi Note 3 Pro version, with the Snapdragon processor. However, I hear that there are even several versions of the SD model.
I want to make sure which version I have so I correctly flash the appropriate files for root/custom rom without doing something like wiping the IMEI, etc.
The seller said its an "international" version in that it support U.S LTE bands which I get and I do see it came with Google Play and other Google Apps. So its definitely not the Chinese version.

As far as I know there is only one Snapdragon version of the Redmi Note 3. It's just the amount of RAM and internal storage that differs.

Unfortunately only the chinese beta testers can install this update. I tried to install it through the official updater since i'm on locked bl but it says that I need a xiaomi beta tester account. It would be nice though if someone can provide us a link for the china beta testing program.

You need to Unlock Bootloader, Use TWRP Recovery updater.
I know, but... Since I know myself I will continuously change my phones software and I will mess around with it and since k20 is my daily driver I don't want instability. So I don't want to unlock my bl, at least at the moment. I'll better wait for the stable updates. But thanks anyway for the suggestion. Can anyone who knows mandarin provide me with some instructions on how to become an official beta tester for the chinese ROMs?
I downloaded the 11.0.4 from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/redmi-k20-pro-firmware-10-3-8-0-9-6-13-t3939647 and install it on my stock china 11.0.2 locked just fine.
Edit: i also noticed there is v11.0.3 but i've decided to skip that because they have the same file size (~2.6GB) so i assumed that both of them are a full ROM on their own, not an OTA update. I also used the Cleaner app to clear Cache before and after the installation.

I'm honestly very green when it comes to flashing of any sorts and never paid attention to the XDA Forums. I've been using Samsung devices purchased on the international market and decided it was enough when I dropped my zFlip 3 and the capacitive touch stopped working.
I'm currently residing in China and plan on purchasing a 10T 5G locally.
Since Chinese devices don't come with Google services out the box, how would I go about flashing a custom ROM or even an official release ROM onto the phone to use it as if it was an International device? Buying a phone and not being able to use Google services is a no go for me.
If not the 10T, is there any other devices that I could purchase in China that would allow me to flash an international ROM to enable Google services?
Any help/explanation would be greatly appreciated!

This phone is even better Value than Redmi. I hope it will have custom ROM or Global ROM soon.
I agree that this phone should have its own section in these forums. Since there's currently no global rom, only CN rom with CN bloatware / spyware, it would be nice to have a custom rom, or official LineageOS support.
I plan on tinkering with GSI on this phone. Will post results eventually.

Hoping for goods result brother.
No sadly but I see some people have had sucess with GSI roms. I plan to give it a try once my phone arrives. There's also the option of using a debloating tool.
