Question 10T 5G Chinese OS to International - OnePlus 10T 5G

Hello!
I'm honestly very green when it comes to flashing of any sorts and never paid attention to the XDA Forums. I've been using Samsung devices purchased on the international market and decided it was enough when I dropped my zFlip 3 and the capacitive touch stopped working.
I'm currently residing in China and plan on purchasing a 10T 5G locally.
Since Chinese devices don't come with Google services out the box, how would I go about flashing a custom ROM or even an official release ROM onto the phone to use it as if it was an International device? Buying a phone and not being able to use Google services is a no go for me.
If not the 10T, is there any other devices that I could purchase in China that would allow me to flash an international ROM to enable Google services?
Any help/explanation would be greatly appreciated!

My Ace Pro is a China release of 10t, when I purchased it online, the seller flashed 10T India Rom. Works here in the Philippines.

see https://www.oneplusbbs.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6370880

Cool! So apart from a different name and OS there doesn't seem to be a vast difference between whats released internationally and in China. Thanks for the info!

[HELP]Samsung Galaxy S II from LG U+

Ok so hear is the story a family relative of mine who was in korea for a couple of days buys me a samsung galaxy s ii. when i got it opened up the package and looked at the phone, i was like " erm... this dont look like a galaxy s ii to me. ( take a look below. it even has a antenna that you can pull out! FOR WHAT?! lol)

anyways apparently it is. (video)

i did my research with the phones model number and all. so it seems plretty legit. the installed rom does come with korean and english language option of choosing. i was wondering i can root this device the same way you would root a regular samsung galaxy s ii, install custom recovery, flash OTA Rom or custom, etc. what we androidians mostly do with our devices. forgot to mention that it is a cdma phone and if it is possible to unlock to use here in the u.s.
if anyone could shed some light on my current situation, i would highly appreciate it. thanks in advance.
Don't do it.
Apparently, LG U+ SGS2's have some kind of special rom that is difficult to find. I have been living in Korea for a while and happened to get one of these. I'm sure one of the XDA hackers will eventually get around to giving us a good root solution, but until then we are rootless.
BTW - the antenna is for DMB reception. I'm pretty sure the DMB signal is only in Korea though...Maybe in a few years someone will start tinkering with it and get normal TV somehow.

[Q]Rom for i589 ACE DUO

So I got this ACE DUO, which means it can support CDMA2000 and GSM mode at the same time. I'm not sure ROMs provided here can be flashed to the cell.
Is there any customized ROM for this kind of cell?
Are you sure it's galaxy ace? If it is it would normally be S5830 *
only available in China! I do not think there is a rom for this mobile

No more official chance to unlock bootloader

I found this thread, it is related to the Honor10 but i don't hope it will be extended to all Huawei products

IT will extend. As I read that's the deal Huawei had to take to launch devices in the US. No more unlocking, rooting and so on. All pages will go down soon.

Damn. I really wanted the M5 with LTE. I have the M3 and the only thing I don't like about it is no LTE. I know that one of the models has all AT&T bands except for band 2, but in my area I've only seen band 2 except for a few instances of band 12 and it was only 2 bars.
Just saw that today. I was really disappointed
And there is an additional requirement for requesting unlock from Huawei:
2. 用户必须在申请解锁的设备上登录华为云帐号并使用超过两周;

That is not written in the English version. It means:
The device MUST log on to Huawei Cloud account for over 2 weeks.

I just started my Huawei Cloud account (I feel using China's service is not right and disabled them on my first run). Hope I cloud pass through their requirement within the last 60 days ?
Otherwise I must pay for unlock, which does not seems right to me
Got mine now in case it's needed at some point in the future.. Thanks for letting us know.
OK, I'm new to this concept. So if I ever want to unlock the bootloader, I need to get a code now before the service is discontinued? But that code will be good forever, for repeated unlockings if needed?
And in order to get that code, I need to use Huawei cloud service for two weeks?
@Obveron: Yes, yes and no. I have not used the cloud thingy.

where to buy aircooler 2 in India

Hi everyone!
I've recently bought ROG phone 2 (8Gb+128gb version). I thought aircooler was included in the box (same as previous version). But it's not in my version.
Now i want to buy that aircooler seperately in india. It's accessories are already launched in India officially. But are not available online. So any suggestions regarding, from where to buy rog phone 2 air cooler 2 in India would be so much helpful!

Confirmed on their official twitter page that the accessories will be sold on Flipkart later. Asked for a specific date but didn't get a reply.

Question Moto X40 (CHINA ROM) Question - Nearby Sharing is not available for this device. Is there a work around?

I've been using the Moto X40 with original CN ROM for several days now after returning the Moto X40 with flashed EU ROM (Edge 40 Pro).
All good and working smoothly with this one. I find there's no real need to flash with the EU ROM. There were some setup steps when enabling Google Services and installing Google Play but that's really nothing too hard.
The only issue so far is that Nearby Sharing is not available.
Anyone able to find a workaround to this for Moto X40 (CN ROM)?

Google services must be system-based:
1) Install EUrom, where they are sewn in by default
2) Make system Chrome in CNrom
In both cases, you will have to unlock the bootloader, in option 2) you still need to get root
