Usually China ROM get the update first.
This probably the first India ROM get update faster than China ROM.

The update should include
-Android Security update.
-Stability improvements.
-Moto Mods support updates.
It's 536.1 MB
Is this update mainly to support the Moto Mods 2.0 ? or is there anything else worth mentioning?
Is there any way to download this without using the phone?
Is it possible to restore a twrp backup of the system partition of the new version?

Developers are already taking care of this. You will soon be able to upgrade via TWRP.
This is totally random but I thought I'd ask since I cannot find any info on it, does the Moto Z2 play have a notification LED ?

If you want to use hidden led (only white light) you can paste this driver (after unpacking) in /system/lib/hw. Remember to backup previous one.
PS Give right permissions and reboot, of course.

You dont need to be in the beta program nor even have an unlocked bootloader to flash the latest beta. Check the link below :
http://www.miui.com/download-354.html
Create a folder called downloaded_rom , place the downloaded zip into the folder. Go to your update screen in the phone, click the 3 dots top right , choose "choose update package" and locate your zip file.
Sit tight and it will flash. Data will be deleted. If you get encryption error or something when choosing the zip, just retry a few more times.
I didn't root mine but you can root it from the phone itself if you're using the developer beta rom. Under permission - app settings.
Cheers.

In theory you can do it. But.. You need to unlock bootloader and grant root access. The issue i faced though is that it messes the menu. For now you either keep it as it is or you apply a theme with dark menu

MIUI 10.3.3.0 (PKFMIXM) vía OTA

Hello, today I appeared the update 10.3.3.0 for my Xiaomi MI 9T Pro Global version. Only bring the October security patch and even with MIUI 10.
Apparently MIUI 11 will not yet be available in the Global version of MI 9T Pro, as I expect to receive MIUI 11 and not MIUI 10 yet TODAY
MIUI Global 10.3.3 / Stable 10.3.3.0 (PFKMIXM)
same here
Relax guys, it's more important to have a recent security update instead of a half baked Q update...we'll receive it soon enough..
Updating with Orange Fox and Magisk
Hey guys. I've got this update showing up as well.
Is there any way to run this update while having Orange Fox recovery and Magisk installed?
I understand that Orange Fox allows this but when I tried to install the update, it did it via Orange Fox but then booted back into the system and gave me a msg saying it was unsuccessful.
Noticed at this point that my Magisk installation was gone as well. But that was easy enough to reinstall via Orange Fox.
Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct! And analyzing that the Mi 9 Global is receiving MIUI 11 today, I do not doubt that in a few days or maybe in two weeks we are also receiving MIUI 11 for the MI 9T Pro Global
Regards
Not sure if this is correct, but I may have some big news then. I just got an update for miui based on Android 10. Can't seem to upload the screenshot though. Version is V11.0.3.0.QFKEUXM

Thank you for this!!!!
However weird issue now. It downloaded the 2.2GB update. Asked me if I wanted to install. I wanted to wait until later in the day to do it. But when I was ready the notification disappeared and it says there are no updates!!??
So now I'm stuck at 10.3.2.0 and the 10.3.3.0 seems to no longer exist for me
Anyone else facing this issue??

Hi
I'm facing a problem with my mi 9T Pro.
After this update (10.3.3.0 PFKMIXM), when the pop up camera is activated, it shows a purple glowing on the display, next to it.
If i turn off the led of the pop up camera in the options the problem stop.
Is it a software issue or hardware issue ?
The same proble have already be mentioned here: https://c.mi.com/thread-2596121-1-0.html
