OnePlus 7 Pro / OnePlus 7 Pro 5G / OnePlus 7The only fully unified kernel for OOS and CUSTOM ROMs
Concept
Flash and be happy out of the box!
The kernel provides 4 Spectrum profiles and 3 Franco Kernel Manager profiles (Pie only) for most usecases. Balanced / Battery / Performance (default) / Gaming. For choosing another profile as Balanced please install Spectrum from the Google PlayStore.
If you want to modify the profiles just run a kernelmanager like EX Kernelmanager and change what you want.
To preconfigure the kernel uses a config file made by well known Senior member @xXx
These are the tunables you could modify:
Defaults in [ ]
Profiles battery, balanced, [performance], gaming
SELinux [permissive] / enforced
CPU minimum frequency little [300], 403, 499, 576, 672, 768
CPU minimum frequency big [825], 948, 1056
CPU minimum frequency prime [825], 948, 1056, 1171
GPU minimum frequency [257], 345
GPU Input boost off [345], 427
GPU maximum frequency up to 850 MHz (comes with 585 stock frequenccy set!)
etc.
!!! WARNING !!! 675, 735 and 850 MHz are GPU OC frequencies and NOT stable on all devices!
The SmurfKernel configuration file is placed in /sdcard/SmurfKernel: If you want to use the kernel with it's default configuration just flash it!!! For custom changes please edit the SmurfKernelConfigurationEditor by @tanish2k09. The settings are applied saving the config. Your actual configuration is written to smurf.kernel.bootlog.
It's recommended to use my kernel paired with

Thanks, kinda annoying that you need to reflash to set the bootanimation. I guess there will be many questions why the set boot animation is not present because people don't reflash the kernel .

imo it's not really "cant reach",
but it optimized so cpu load is still under 1.4ghz.
Performance governor ramp up your CPU at the highest value, it doesn't matter were you are in game or just playing music.

Thanks イチハラ リファ(Katakana lol) for implementing dt2w. I find it interesting on how you implementing fastcharging in your kernel and wonder does the charging stay at a consistent rate of 1500mA ? Can anyone test it out?

Well I used the Ampere app, the max.amount of current I got was 1010mAh , with constant values revolving around 700-800mAh. Others can also check. I'm using the stock charger.
After install the kernel I can't unlock my phone, I'm using pattern unlock. Everytime that I try to unlock a black screen appears and go back to unlock screen.
I had the same problem with latest version of octopus kenel and I have to use and old version.
Any idea how to fix this problem?

Ayy my minus is now increased, lmao
no kernel-bugs-related so far....
[i'm more than a noob when it comes to kernel]
this is the only one that made my 紅米2 react properly on dt2w
(feature i missed the most, and coming back big style) {still waiting for a stable berserk to be honest}
8 stars (out of 5) for the looks/user/aroma approach - specially for people not using kernel managers (i'm not 1 of those, but solidarity is important)
has every other "crowd pleasers" working except for control freaks (just kidding) + screen/color profiles << this is not a plea
++ having an option for color-profile would imho make it more than awsome......
great work, even greater kernel, thank you
tipsy by @premaca
recommended settings more than appreciated

INSTALLATION
1. Install zip from recovery
2. Follow the instructions, if you don't know what to do, use the preselected options
3. Reboot
It is recommended to disable or increase the screen timeout in TWRP recovery. If the screen timeout is enabled in TWRP, there may be a black screen after exiting the Aroma installer. This is nothing to worry about. Simply hold power and volume down until it reboots. The installation will be fine.
Express installer
1. Install zip from recovery
2. Reboot
This installer goes without AROMA. And this recommended upgrade method from one repack to another.
It's take previous options, selected in AROMA before.
If you installing Repack in first time- use AROMA version.

Zetsubou(aka Despair) kernel is meant to be simple with only cool features added on top of CAF/CM kernel. Kernel source will always be kept in sync with new caf(LA.BR.1.2.9_rbx.xx) and mainstream linux(3.10.y) updates. It will never include features like Undervolt, Quick charge and other potentially dangerous/unstable stuffs. Okay enough of the intro let's move on to the features
Features:
*linux version 3.10.107
*CPU/GPU overclock support upto 1.8GHz/620MHz
*based on caf branch LA.BR.1.2.9_rbx.xx(rb1.24 as of now)

Good job, my Redmi 2 is fast. Amazing! I'm using mokee 7.1 nitghly 20170207
no sim cards detected after flashing the kernel but on dirty flashing the rom it gets detected.the rom is RR N latest .
Yeah techno is doing awesome work
AOSPExtended..
Custom installation not work for CPU and Color Control. I have to manually adjust all the setting on each reboot. Especially for CPU control, it need time to get 2112 , it keep lock down to 800 on each reboot. Anyway good performance .

@TecnoTailsPlays
Whilst testing your new update, I realized that the UI was really laggy. So I checked my frequencies and governor via KA and found out that the max frequency was capped at 800 mhz.
I tried changing frequencies and the frequencies wouldn't stick. If I tried raising it to 1209, it would bounce back to 800.
I tried changing governors too. Unfortunately issue didn't have a workaround so I Reverted to Zetsubou
My modem is 2014818 and I have the 1Gb Variant. I run AiCP 12.1

Could to high clock rates in default profiles. My Note 8 is in a good ASV class, working with 2.81 without problems. I'll check tomorrow what i've set in default spectrum profile.
Kernel Adiutor is ok too. But GPU oc missing, etc. Not the full featureset.
Ex recommended.
Ma gisk 14.5 recommended.

Okay.
Clock doesnt stay set on 2,7 or even 2,5. Often it goes down to 1.6. This is DVFS right? Kinda weird though because my phone is just warm a little bit. Will the clock go up to 2,7ghz after it has cooled down?
Found issue.
I have downloaded Mtweaks 2.7
at 2.81 OC with interactive , for 1 time system crash and goes to soft reboot.

Yes, dvfs, it isn't sticking something like 1 minute after boot. To set max wait until device has settled. But the setting itself sticks and is set after full boot always.

Stock clocks for boot and gpu down to 600.
There's a change for gpu_cooling_table within the dts files of my kernel. The array is bigger. That's the only other change i could imagine to be problematic. Well, we'll see. Please check this version, if it is solving your boot problems.

Well, max OC is for sure working only on a few Note 8 having a good ASV group rating. ASV is Samsungs speed bin. Not all CPU's are equal. You could check this info with EX Kernel Manager, CPU tab. ASV is from 1 (worst) to 15(best bin). Mine for example has 8 for big cluster, 8 for little and 4 for the gpu. 2.81 is stable on my Note 8.
Spectrum support would be a thing for some who don't want to mess up with settings. Just a suggestion

It has spectrum support. Most profiles clock @2496 MHz or lower. But i could include some more profiles. No problem.
