How to Fix Sim cards didn't read for j730f /G/FM ALL Andriod phone - Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Guides, News, & Discussio

After updating Android Sim cards didn't read do not worry
Even when installed custom rom will work
Warning for everyone, No one updates Android about Official update
Because companies
force their policy on the customer in order not to install any custom rom
And when you update it, it happens not only Android, but it also works to when update your protection like this u4 to u5
Stock Sboot Is responsible for Sim cards about any Android phone
Alert before downloading any file
I provide files where each file extracted from a particular ROM is written above the file so that you must pay attention to the issuance and protection of the ROM before downloading the file and browse these files dedicated to the Galaxy J7 Pro SM-J730F can not be scanned these files on any other model even if the difference character just one.
Files required for the flash operation
Just Odin program
---
Protect U3 Version 8.1.0 FXX
The files were dragged from the J730FXXU3BRK2 ROM
Stock Boot
https://mega.nz/#!CWxFGSpA!F8q7O6hY5VgfWUq49QSwUFrfshivMCyFXbdD3lBgMAk

The files were dragged from the J730FXWS4BSD3 ROM
Stock Sboot
https://mega.nz/#F!TBEwGYLK!7f2jOWgNZsCRN17P0TaKyg
Protect U5 version 9.0 FXW
The files were dragged from the J730FXXS5CSF5 ROM
https://mega.nz/#F!j6BixITB!TDuVX240rUQiE__8hNkdVg
And ALL files from J730FXXS5CSF5 ROM and If If not work sim card do this or Stop logo not work don't worry (I just talk about u5)
Flash ALL Files J730FXXS5CSF5 and again Flash but just file (AP)_J730FXXS5CSF5 only by Odin program
And about U6 Do like this steps but not use U5 use files U6 i will get file Sboot u6 soon okay
And then you can use any New Custom ROM It is not based on the old update Oreo ,
A Use GONESS but I hate this name
This site
You will find your phone's file (Stock Sboot) in this
Site https://shell.boxwares.com/
If any of these files fail
(Take the file (Stock Sboot) from any Firmware work on your phone ) :good: :good: This way works with any Android phone But you have to search (Stock Sboot) For your phone
After downloading one of the file, we open the Oudin program and then according to the file to be selected, we select the section:
-SBoot = BL
We turn off the device and then enter it into the Download Mode via the volume down switch + HOME + Power switch.
Then press Start to start the machine scan process takes about 30 seconds or less.
After the flash is finished, the device will automatically restart
If you encounter any problem in Android
Combination ROM Not all problems are solved by but some problems
This is information about Combination rom (You should read Important)
These ROMs are rare within the sites and are not published widely although they are complete ROMs and also from Samsung, but the company publishes them on a limited scale as they are not used for system update, but are used to fix problems only. Sometimes, problems with system files inside the device occur. It can be fixed using regular ROMs because it does not contain all the files specific to the device, so it uses full ROMs to completely delete all the contents of the device and re-put the system files and device definitions and bootloader inside it and for this it is not recommended to use them except for solving advanced problems and not for a process Only update.
These Repair Firmware ROMs consist of the following files:
PIT file This file may not come with all ROMs and is responsible for dividing the device and is not used to with devices appropriate for its size, i.e. if this file is for copies of 8 GB, for example, it cannot be used with a 16 GB space device as this device has a different file for it .
BL file ie Bootloader which is the file responsible for the bootloader files.
AP, PDA, or CODE file according to the ROM version, which is the main file and has a large size, which is equivalent to the ROM file, it contains system files.
CP, PHONE or MODEM file depending on the ROM version, which is the file responsible for identifying the modem of the device.
The CSC file is the file responsible for the country files the Rom is directed to.

Hi, I downloaded these files:
J730GDXS6BSD1_Stock_sboot_BoxWares.tar.md5
J730GDXS6BSD1_Stock_modem_BoxWares.tar.md5
Both are 8.1 Oreo, I flashed sboot in BL and modem in AP.
Only sboot is needed for sim to be recognized but I flashed modem because I notice some signal drops, so this last one is up to you.

But when I tried the second time using the exact files you provided, it worked! Both Sims are working in LTE/3G. Thanks for the immediate reply and help man! Appreciate it!

How long should this update method take? Been stuck on "Patching system files..." for about an hour. Trying to determine if this is normal or not.
Edit: Nevermind. 15 Minutes later it booted. Guess I just needed to be more patient.
I'm hoping that we get this for Cricket Soon. Any way to get it to work for that carrier?

After RR Oreo Install, flashtool isn't working(how can I flash stock ftf?)

Does anyone have this issue?
I flashed the latest Oreo zip with twrp & used that for some days. now I want to revert back to stock .291 ftf.
But flashtool fails. I used the same flashtool, same firmware files multiple times to revertback to stock. But now It says
.....Something like not for this device... >Older flashtool(searched & found this solution but not worked)
...Something like bundle is not valid...>The flashtool that I used before & successfully flashed.
Those error indicates my firmware file isn't for my device. but Believe me IT IS~!!
But to clear my understanding I downloaded fresh firmware from Xperifirm not worked.
Then I searched and downloaded firmware from XDA but ALAS! Not worked either.
I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 different versions of flashtool but nothing positive.
I think, Flashing oreo made some changes to our device & it's no longer a Xperia z2(on software sense i mean).
What to do. Anyone tried flashing stock .291 or any other older firmware after flashing OREO???

Which file contains password? I don't remember having a password but if the firmware zip file has a pass then I can upload the ftf file without password as I have extracted it already.
If it's flashtool then just install any old version.

If I have miui 11 Android 10 based and try to install latest

Before flash the ROM you have to put sub folder to desktop. means when you extracted ROM it's having sub folder where is the main ROM you have to copy past that ROM(Folder) to desktop and give that path for flashing then you won't get any error.
MiFlashtool dosn't recognized folder in folder.
Enjoy

Do I need to be unlocked and have TWRP to use MiFlashTool? Or can I do it on my locked phone as well? I want to change from Indian ROM to EU ROM.
If anyone has swapped the ROM, does it have any problems? I think K20 Pro sold in Europe and China has NFC (hardware) while the India devices do not. So not sure if swapping ROMs will work on them.

you just have to flash boot image from fastboot, command given in thread.
If you want to use your own boot image you can download the recovery/fastboot rom from miui and get boot.img from the zip.
and then you would have to patch that boot image from magisk manager.
The boot image i have uploaded is already patched.
I don't know about boot.img.p maybe rename it lol?
So have you successfully rooted your phone? Or waiting for 7 days to unlock the bootloader.
Actually I downloaded ROM ota zip from server. After extracting using winrar. I found Boot.img.p
Also there are many article which give instructions to extract actual boot.img from this type of extension.
May I know how from where you downloaded rom file and after extraction directly you got the Boot.img?

You have to download the FULL OTA and take boot.img from it to do the whole process.
I had to download the FULL OTA of the new update and patch again. I made a new thread but mod deleted it,
