try to copy rom folder adress(where you extract it) from its directory than paste to miflasher adress bar.

If I have miui 11 Android 10 based and try to install latest
Indian version V10.3.5.0.PFKINXM Android 9 based, there are any steps before flashing with mi flasher? Is any risk for brick?

Anybody advise the correct method ?
I donot want mi flash as this will format internal storage
I am thinking of the recovery rom file but to wipe system and data and then to flash the global stock miui

Before flash the ROM you have to put sub folder to desktop. means when you extracted ROM it's having sub folder where is the main ROM you have to copy past that ROM(Folder) to desktop and give that path for flashing then you won't get any error.
MiFlashtool dosn't recognized folder in folder.
Enjoy

Do I need to be unlocked and have TWRP to use MiFlashTool? Or can I do it on my locked phone as well? I want to change from Indian ROM to EU ROM.
If anyone has swapped the ROM, does it have any problems? I think K20 Pro sold in Europe and China has NFC (hardware) while the India devices do not. So not sure if swapping ROMs will work on them.

simply try to replace miui stable (8.0.5.0) firmware using any miui mm firmware
if you downgrade using miflash & fastboot rom, you can easily replace the file before flashing it
if you downgrade using twrp you can try to flash below firmware at miui stable rom

actually this is an easy step...you just need to replacing firmware file of 8.0.5.0 rom using miui mm firmware.
you can download above link, extract it and copy paste all files from firmware update folder to image folder 8.0.5.0 rom.
if you have warning about replacing file, just select yes.
next step is only reguler flashing using miflash tool. nothing special.
pls try and let me know if this work for you.

QFIL Official ROM Flashing Le Max 2 X820/X822

Hi all,
I ordered the Le Max 2 X822 yesterday and it will ship with multilanguage ROM on it. I am just wondering if there is a detailed method with proper instructions about how to install official ROM on this phone via QFIL. I don't want to unlock the bootloader or ROOT the phone right now. Can anyone help please? Thanks.
What the version of multi lang rom?
Donload rom from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/how-to/le-max-2-official-stock-firmware-links-t3433761
Rename it 'update.zip' copy it into your terminal
Goto system update click on three dots on top of the right corner and select local update
Btw they don't ship with unofficial rom

Thank you for the link. Which is the most stable ROM(s). I'm sure each have their pros and cons. But which among that listdo you think is the most stable?

I might try the 5.8.19s Stock Indian ROM. Will I have to root the phone for that. Is there a tutorial?
I don't plan to root my phone at the moment, so might try other ROM's later.

Is this official Rom .zip flashable even in TWRP Recovery or only via updater app ?
And via updater is it possible to switch from China to India?

Just ask your seller not to touch the phone and send it to you in the sealed original box. I did it that way and update the phone OTA.

After flashing fastboot rom, phone will stuck at bootlogo for much longer than normal. So my suggestions is to wait for it to bootup, at least 20-30min.

For us indians, global builds is for us.
You can have the developer or the stable global versions zip file.
Now make sure you use redwolf recovery, because installation of these zips from stock twrp is not really supported. If you install the global build, the recovery and root will be removed, so then you'll need to install recovery using fastboot. But if you install the dev version, it does not removes the recovery but still root is removed, which you can get by installing magisk.

Well i tried and it still says the same
Yesterday I got the same message for MIUI 10.0.12 global and I didn't want to upgrade just yet but this morning it showed message "the system updated automatically" and now its running MIUI 10 instead of 9.6 global, so far no problems whatsoever.
I have also bought Chinese version and it gets miui 10 update after following day... Now can i flash global stable version after unlocking the bootloader using mi flash tools? Anyone did that? Does it work?

[Guide] Change CN rom to Global rom Black Shark 2

please to remember. DWYOR. everything happen to your device is your own risk.
this tutorial based on my experience.
sorry for my bad english..
whatever your current rom, I suggest to downgrade to CN android 9.
download factory rom CN android 9 on this forum. the file about 1Gb
then do this tutorial:
1. download SKYW2003090OS01MP6 rom . you can check on this forum.
this rom based S01
2. make a folder on your phone's internal storage, name it with "ota" (without " ")
3. put the rom into folder ota and rename the rom "update.zip"
4. make a dial *#*#1027#*#* and choose local update. let the prossess goes until finish.
after flashing rom finished, then you can change the rom to S00. such as SKYW1907031OS00MP3 or another S00.
on this global rom, you can do unlock bootloader with command on adb : fastboot oem bs_unlock
hope this tutorial helps you
thank you
it didn't work !
where to download? I dont see the link. Can you send it private?
Edit : Never mind, I found it somewhere, by the way thanks you.
