[ROM][9.0][UNOFFICIAL]LineageOS 16.0[OP7][AOSP][GUACAMOLEB] - OnePlus 7 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Devel

This is an UNOFFICIAL build of LineageOS for OnePlus 7 (guacamoleb). Remember that this is a very early version and things could break, especially for a device as new as this one. I have literally just got hands on it last week and spent a few days fixing issues like the fingerprint scanner [WIP still].Please always flash with caution.
Working List
-RIL[VoLTE also works]
-Camera[Tested with GCAM and Snap]
-Bluetooth
-WiFi
-Dual Speakers
-MTP
-Auto-Brightness
-Cast
-Compiled with vendor image
Bugs
-The fingerprint scanner is buggy[mostly doesnt work]
-Alert slider
-- No 48MP for camera. Kind of what you'd expect for these imx586 devices.
- This ROM doesn't come with its own vendor image yet. It needs to be flashed over OxygenOS to function properly.
- SELinux is permissive.
Download: Here
Credits
- PeterCxy for his work on Oneplus 7 Pro.
- LineageOS (obviously)
- OmniROM & phhusson (for their fingerprint scanner implementation as a basis, I cleaned it up a bit and abstracted device-specific logic from the somewhat messy frameworks implementation out to HAL. I think their original implementation for Xiaomi 9 / OnePlus 6T should have been done this way also.)
- All contributors to OnePlus 6T device tree of LOS & OmniROM (I took a good amount of code from there)

Hi, thanks for your work, installation guide?

Nice work. Unfortunately it's not really working for me.
My problem: the UI freezes and display brightness gets at maximum until the UI crashes & restarts.
This happens every 10-90 seconds, mostly when I'm switching apps/windows, using app history or using the back button. Unusable this way.
I've tried to create and import a bug report but it's impossible this way.
That's what I've made to install custom LOS, but I'm not sure if this is really the right method, because I'm still the only one who is reporting this problem:
Preconditions: Unlocked bootloader & USB debugging enabled.
Installed the Fastboot ROM made by Mauronofrio and updated via OOS update to the latest version to make sure to have a clean & up2date stock system as base.
Loaded and booted the TWRP*.img via Fastboot and installed the TWRP-Installer*.zip from it.
Booted into TWRP recovery and installed the LineageOS.zip from this thread plus Magisk*.zip.
Wiped cache, Dalvik, data & booted OS.
I hope someone can help me with this problem, because OxygenOS is really disappointing.
There are so many features missing that I know and appreciate from LineageOS.
It seems not possible to get rid of GAPPS on OOS too. I've tried it with the Magisk debloater module multiple times, but ended on boot looping my device every time.

Hello friend, when installing the ROM, you have to do in Wipe / advanced / wipes a System, Data, cache & dalvik?

Are you still working on bug fixing?

This project seems to be dead.

Isn't the Pro model available? Makes me wonder how difficult it is to port ROMs between models.

I DO NOT OWN THE ROM.
The developer of this rom is kumajaya on MIUI forum and thanks to him for his work.
MISSION:
Embarrass Xiaomi because refuse to release Redmi 2 kernel source
BUG:
Before you install this ROM, check your device magnetic sensor. Currently YAS537 not supported!
Still under development, built from sources, no hidden sources, not a binary dirty hack ROM
The following will not be supported in this thread:
- Custom Kernels
- Mods, including CPU management mod or any strawberry mod
- Modified system files
- Xposed
If you reuse even a part of my work here, a proper credit is a must, keep it open source also a must

Don't create any mirror without a permission!
Cyanogen recovery above just like a standard AOSP recovery without a lot of features compared to TWRP, but you can temporary boot it using "fastboot boot cyanogen-recovery-wt88047.img" command to check if CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM possibly working on your device variant.
Don't even try this ROM on Redmi 2A variant!

Current status:
Boot to Android, this is my first ROM that really boot on the first try
Touchscreen works, all hardware button mapped correctly
No screen flicker, fluid graphics
Voice call and SMS works, data over WiFi and GSM works (radio config in build.prop fix previous GSM issue)
Vibration and screen rotation works
All sensors seem works including GPS and compass but light sensor still need a fine tuning
Both camera working, the author found a super clean solution
No boot animation (fixed, kernel issue) Disable splash screen break Android boot animation but if I enable it, Cyanogen recovery covered by Tux the penguin logo in the center. The workaround solution, move Tux to the top right of the screen
No sound (fixed, kernel and user space issue) This also fix slow boot because of logcat flooding. BUG: Speaker output ignore headset jack insertion, sound out from both speaker and headset
Bluetooth file transfer fail (~42MB zip, failed at 17%) WiFi file transfer way faster
FM radio works
WiFi hotspot works
YouTube and local video 720p works
LED driver working great, multi color and blink
Remember, no contribution from Xiaomi yet. That's the reason why I try to avoid "Xiaomi" string in my source as possible but Wingtech.
I use CyanogenMod resources as much as possible, including common MSM8916 device tree and kernel. Maintain device source tree and leave common part to CyanogenMod community. I'll strictly follow CyanogenMod coding style and source structure. This is about source code quality.
AGAIN, I DO NOT OWN THE ROM.
Will try it soon. And I hope Xiaomi will release the kernel like Redmi 1s.
kumajaya and zwliew are the most stable CM12.1 roms for our phone. I hope they reach 100% full working version in near future.
Thank you both!

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][6.0.1][SGP712/SGP771] CyanogenMod 13 for Xperia Z4 Tablet [Alpha]

CyanogenMod 13 for Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Wifi and LTE (SGP712/SGP771)
Code:
Your warranty may be voided ! I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications.
Issues:
- Back camera focus: image is blurred and color problem (waiting for new AOSP blobs from Sony)
- Minor bug with led while charging
- No FM radio
- Tell me what you find !
How to install
- Unlock your bootloader (you can save your TA partition before)
- Update your firmware to the last Marshmallow version (needed to update the bootloader, kernel will not boot if you use the Lollipop bootloader)
- Install AndroPlus kernel and TWRP
- Make a backup
- Push the rom’s zip to the SD card (optionnaly with gapps)
- Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik cache
- Install the rom (and gapps if you want)
- Reboot
- Enjoy, and give me a feedback
Advice: You can use TWRP from Androplus before installing the rom. But it will not work with cyanogenmod kernel.
So, after installing the rom, you can use TWRP made for CM kernel (see the link bellow) and press vol+ at boot, or keep AndroPlus TWRP and use "fastboot boot boot.img", were boot.img is AndroPlus kernel.
Edit : my TWRP for CM seem to has a bug with touchscreem randomly not working, you can reboot the tablet with Power-Vol+ until the touchscreen works (it doesn't stop working after boot, it just works well or not at all), or use the fastboot method with AndroPlus Kernel.
I will solve this problem when I'll have the time.

Questions
- Please, avoid asking things like: how to flash this rom, what is fastboot, …
There is enough documentation on XDA and others websites. You also probably should not use this rom if you don’t know how to recover a bricked device with fastboot and flashtool.
- I’m not a professional devlopper, I don’t receive payement for this, so don’t ask for ETA, for make a rom for an other devices, …
- I only have a wifi only Z4 tablet, I make a LTE version, but since I don’t own this tablet it’s not possible for me to debug like on my wifi tablet.

Thank you!
In fact the current kernel/ramdisk can launch a recovery by pressing the vol+ when the led turn pink, but it cannot load the currently available TWRP recovery that need Androplus kernel.
I'm currently making a recovery that work with this kernel (it seem that it work with Androplus kernel too). It actually kinda work, it can wipe system and flash Cyanogenmod (not trying backup and restore yet). But the updater crash when trying to install Gapps, I need to fix this and it should be ok .
Awesome work, thanks! It's running pretty smooth. No problem booting TWRP manually from fastboot. Good luck hammering out the small things
TWRP is now working with the rom ! And without the need of the fastboot trick .
It's build to work with the kernel I used for cyanogenmod. (It work partialy with Androplus kernel too but with some limitations like adb is not working, ...)
This is the link: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=67717
I forgot, but touchscreen may not work at first TWRP's boot. Just reboot the recovery and it should work again.
Recovery works great, no touchscreen issues after flashing it. :good:

You first need to have a working recovery to flash CyanogenMod. And for the Z4 tablet (and almost all Xperia), the recovery use the same kernel as the system because the recovery is not lauched by the bootloader, but after, by using the FOTAKernel partition as a recovery partition.
It's the reason for what when coming from stock I advise to use Androplus kernel and TWRP. After flashing CyanogenMod, the kernel is cm's one, then TWRP from Androplus will not work and you will need to switch for TWRP for cm kernel.
You can try to use TWRP for cm kernel with Androplus kernel. I tried and it seem to work, but since it's not compiled with this kernel it may not work properly. I didn't make an extensive testing for this configuration (Androplus kernel + cm TWRP), so I can't advise people to use it but maybe it's not a problem.
Bluetooth should be fixed, the annoying bug with the keyboard is gone .
Using broadcom libbt from AOSP seem to fix the problem (thanks again to Sony Kitakami Platform Developer Organization)
Sensors fixed !
Now automatic rotation work (and other sensors too).

So, you will tell me that yourself if it work or not when I'll make a test rom for SGP771 .
I already take a look and it have most of the device tree common with the SPG712, so I think it should not be too difficult to have a working rom for the sgp772 because it's working on the sgp712.

[ROM][8.1.0][PRE-OFFICIAL] LineageOS 15.1 for Galaxy Note 9 (Exynos)

Note: This is not a ROM based on the ROM shipped with your device. Exynos variants such as International (F), International Dual(Hybrid)-SIM (F/DS), Korean (N) ONLY. In NO way it is compatible with Snapdragon variants including but not limited to American(U/U1/A/T/P/V), Chinese(0/8/6), Hong Kong(0), Japanese(SC-*), Canadian(W) variants.
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Device Info:
Galaxy Note 9 (Exynos): TBD
What's working:
TBD
This build is an official LineageOS build. Compliance with our device support requirements is enforced and guaranteed. That means including but not limited to these hardwares will work:
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
Mobile Network (Calling, Data, etc.)
Audio
USB
GPS
Camera
Fingerprint Sensor
NFC
Etc. Check device support requirements for more.
What's not working:
Applicable exceptions granted in device support requirements.
Obviously Samsung's own features such as Samsung Pay, KNOX, Theme Center, Game Launcher, etc. won't be ported to LineageOS. We may have our own implementation to similar functions, though.
Iris sensor does not work because AOSP upstream does not support that yet.
IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS.
Instructions:
Make sure TWRP has been installed and functional
Download the latest build (and optionally gapps)
Download the compatible vendor image (https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=284041)
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs)
Flash the vendor image
Flash the latest build (and gapps)
Reboot
LineageOS updater will handle updates automatically (OTA).
If you upgrade manually from older official releases to newer releases, you don't need to wipe your data or reflash gapps.

Reporting Bugs:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/bugreport-howto.html
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /proc/avc_msg.
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.
Please use LineageOS BUG tracker to report BUGs. BUGs reported in the thread could be ignored due to large number of posts.

Tried flashing with noverity, tried with magisk, without magisk. Maybe vendor is bad?

bootsplash stuck could be a kernel
Are you sure magisk script ran correctly? Try flashing magisk again and see.

spen is for touch wiz aka Sam experience
for the rest if the android world it's a mouse pointer.
Thank you @jesec for the effort.. This is exactly what I was looking for.
I tested this on N960F/D got stuck on bootsplash as well, I tried both Stock Vendor and the provided Vendor Images, with or without magisk with no luck.
I tried restoring boot image from previous backup (this might sound stupid) but I got past the splashcreen into Lineage Loading screen, it would stay for a minute then reboot to recovery.
For people who got stuck in the bootsplash
To exit the bootSplash freeze use the download mode button combination: Down+Bigsby+Power until screen goes off then recovery shorcut Up+Bigsby+Power,
Did anyone manage to make this work?

Same problem here, Stuck on bootloop
Jesec is back
The ROM doesn't boot for anyone curious. I haven't heard of a report of one booting successfully anyway.

You maybe answer the sensitivity level but there is also the need to some kind of powering off the 500KHz signal send when not using the pen.
Then can we use the sensor to activate the pen ? What about the Bluetooth button ?
The wacom screen could be initialize from the begining with Project Trebble. What's the differences with LOS for S9s ?

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][LOS][8.1] crDroid 4.7 [NOTE9][Exynos][19.10.2018]

crDroid ROM for the Galaxy Note 9
What is this?
crDroid based on LOS for Galaxy Note 9. Based on Android 8.1
What's working?
Mostly everything, including dual speaker.
What's not working?
MTP - I've implemented a fix, just need to build again.
Powering off - if you power off your phone completely the rom won't boot. You need to go to trwp and reboot to system to get back in.
Let me know of any other issues.
Instructions:
Make sure TWRP has been installed and functional.
Download the latest build linked below
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs). Even better if you have nothing to loose and wipe system, data, cache, storage etc
Flash the latest build (and gapps). GAPPS ARE NOT INCLUDED
Reboot and enjoy

Thread is copypasta from your thread if you can't tell. I couldn't be bothered to make it pretty tho
??
I've been using this rom for the past 12 hours. Very good. Haven't run into any issues other than the brightness bug but that's in Pixel Experience as well and you're using the same device tree so that is to be expected. (Brightness gets stuck at max once you set it at max and you have to reboot to make it unstuck)
Features are very welcome and rom is quite smooth overall. Definitely daily driver material. Really enjoying it. Appreciate your contribution to this device. I'll report anything else I find.
Thank you
Wow. I know Crdroid from one of my previous phones. Welcome

The brightness bug went away for me strangely. Turn on adaptive brightness and reboot and see if it goes away. Glad it's working well for you anyway. The only issue I've noticed is a bit of lag with the vibration motor when typing but turning off haptic feedback resolves that.

Original Thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...resurrectionremix-galaxy-j5-variants-t3941399
Resurrection Remix ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome
combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.
Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!
Special thanks to the LineageOS team, Omni team, SlimRoms and of course to all the supporters.

The camera Fix link fixed, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you! Working perfectly, but sometimes Android randomly restarts. Also the RADIO FIX link is wrong (there are three dots in the link, instead of actual link). Camera working, every app seems like working fine too. NFC isn't working, does exist any fix? Will NFC ever work?

NFC isn't working neither on Oreo or Pie, there isn't much of a hope it will ever.
Sorry link fixed

Oh I see. Thank you.
Yeah it does. Not too often but sometimes it does (soft restart). I was trying to find out which action makes this happen but I didn't find anything. I've been using this ROM for about 6 hours and it seems like it got better. It haven't restarted in the last hour yet.
Thanks....
I'm trying now
