Zeno Webcams Romania Canada 2009-12-21

For all romanians abroad who use a PocketPC or a WindowsMobile Professional phone and love to see cities and places of Romania, I updated my program first released in december 2008.
Up to date version of my program Zeno Webcams Romania 2009-12-20.
Version is dated 2009-12-20 with actual webcams of Romania.
Get it here:

Enjoy!
And last words adressed to company Lantec (Mobotix representative in Romania www.mobotix.ro), company who got mad on my program, because they think making money via scum advertisements and third-party scum sites with spyware values more when exploiting natural wish of romanians abroad to see places in their homeland.
They first make hidden a lot of Mobotix webcams real IP address (very popular in Romania) via java scripts so that my program no longer worked. I responded by using Simtec HttpWatch Professional 6.1.41, IEInspector HTTP Analyzer Full Edition 5.1.1 and Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro 2009 v6.x for refinding the hidden IP address and wrote directly to Lantec Romania expressing my disagree to their unfair practices. They responded by further limiting the IP range of guest addresses allowed to see their installed Mobotix webcams. No I respond by publishing a tutorial to bye-pass their latest measure and how to address the blocked webcams by direct access to their (Lantec) video-server.
Original page: http://www.mobotix.com.ro/ro/index.php?id=10055&lang=ro&camid=1207
Found with Google the description of the page: "Bucuresti - Intersectia Turda - 1 Mai"
Found Google cache: http://74.125.77.132/search?q=cache...+Intersectia+Turda+-+1+Mai&cd=9&hl=en&ct=clnk
Here the blocking script is absent and I find real IP address of image on video-server: http://www.mobotix.com.ro/savedimages/1207/02.jpg

I use WM6.1 professional, not tested on WM6.5.
Install both Microsoft NET Compact Framework 2.0 SP2 and Microsoft SQL Mobile 5 (SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition) on Storage Card.
Even if you ROM includes Microsoft NET Compact Framework 3.5, you still need to install Microsoft NET Compact Framework 2.0 SP2.
The 3rd cab: 3-Zeno Webcams Romania 2009-12-20.cab was made for WM6.1
Here is a modified cab for WM6.5:
http://rapidshare.de/files/48865486/3-Zeno_Webcams_Romania_2009-12-20_for_WM6.5.cab.html
Hope it will work on WM6.5.
Test.

same error, i will try again after a hard reset and fresh install , if works i provide feedback. thx for your quick answer.

I do not understand that it works with you, because if you read this post that dates from the 23rd March 2016 : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65859858&postcount=2
it has the same number and the band 20 does not work.
Is on your screenshots I do not recognize MIUI
They show up as available but they don't work. Please close this misleading thread.
What is your ROM version?

Unlocking the bootloader of a Meizu Pro 5 Chinese

Ok, so this is a braindump of my process of unlocking my new Meizu Pro 5 Chinese, preventing me to forget everything I did until tomorrow, but I'll also try to highlight some gotchas and hopefully give some insights into how things work (the why, not the how).
Sorry for the mangled urls, it's one of my first posts here and I can't post links yet.
But first, some general considerations:
Meizu uses it's own fork of AOSP (Android Open Source Project) called Flyme: h**p://www.flymeos.com/
there are two types of firmwares for Meizu Pro 5, A and G - which is the suffix letter after the version, for example 6.1.0.0G or 5.1.3.0A
the A firmwares are for the Chinese models, and can be found at h**ps://reameizu.com/?s=PRO+5%E7%94%A8Flyme
the G firmwares are for the global models (hence the G), and can be found at h**p://www.flymeos.com/firmwarelist?modelId=10&type=1
the interesting note to make here is that the G firmware is smaller than the A one, because it contains less bloatware
there's no easy conclusive way to see which version you have, the rule of thumb is that if you have a few apps with a Chinese name, and especially if you have the Meizu App Store (h**p://bbsimg.res.flymeos.com/forum/201607/07/174749bi2d0i9bi0q5iia0.png) app, you have the Chinese model
another way is to look at Settings -> Account section, if you only have an "Other account" (and no "Flyme account") section, you have a global model; it's also possible to install the MzAccount apk, which will bring back that section and allow you to login into your Flyme account and root a phone with the G firmware (read below about "official" rooting)
the only conclusive way is to look at the ro.meizu.hardware.version prop from a shell
Code:
[email protected]:/ $ getprop | grep hardware.version
[ro.meizu.hardware.version]: [M576_intl_official]
M576_mobile_public is for Chinese, M576_intl_official is for global
(all shown commands are ran on a global model, unless specified otherwise)
this prop is stored in the /dev/block/platform/15570000.ufs/by-name/procinfo partition (which is a symlink to /dev/block/sda2), and you can dump it with dd from a root shell (note the #)
Code:
[email protected]:/ # dd if=/dev/block/sda2 bs=1 count=58
#! Meizu M86 product info
machine_type=M576_intl_official
58+0 records in
58+0 records out
58 bytes transferred in 0.006 secs (9666 bytes/sec)
there's a file inside the firmware update.zip, namely META-INF/firmware_type, which specifies the model the firmware is for; the updater compares the model from this file with the model from the procinfo partition, if they match it goes ahead with the update, if they're different, it shows the dreaded "Firmware corrupt" error (h**p://bbsimg.res.flymeos.com/forum/201710/03/194357r3mx162uxz7mquir.jpg), which is kind of misleading, if you ask me
To be continued...

[HELP NEEDED] An alternative to rooting HUAWEI P20 LITE (ANE-LX1)

[ This post a a work in progress, intended to be a tutorial but i need your help to figure out some details. ]
Hello Everyone,
This is my first post on this forum that has been oh so helpful to me these past years.
Here's the story : my rooted HUAWEI P8 Lite died, and i got myself a brand new P20 Lite that i wanted to root. Problem is HUAWEI does not provide you with the bootloader unlocking code like they did before the 12/10/2018. I mostly wanted to root the phone in order to get rid of stupid HUAWEI and Google system apps, and to be able to change the host file so that the whole world would'nt be collecting so much of my data.
But I was f*cked, it's impossible to get your hands on a bootloader unlocking code unless you pay for it.
/// THE DEVICE ///
Huawei P20 LITE (ANE-LX1)
Firmware version 8.0.0.149(C109)
Not rooted (it's the point of this thread)
/// HOW TO GET RID OF SYSTEM APPS ///
I met a guy that told me that system apps could be removed using ADB, he pointed out this method that was very useful to me and i'm here to share it with you guys.
This is where he saw the trick : https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/uninstall-apps-via-adb-t3738105
So basically all you need to know is the name of the app package you are trying to remove, very luckily, there's an app that does just that, it's called "apps_Packages Info" and you can get it on F Droid. https://f-droid.org/packages/com.oF2pks.applicationsinfo/
Using these two things, i was able to remove some nasty stuff. The list of what i already removed is available here : https://github.com/Zblay/Cleaning_HUAWEI_P20/blob/master/ADB_Commands.txt
I would like to finish this list, so it could be re-used by anybody wanting to clean his HUAWEI the same way i did.
But there are some package from Huawei i don't know whether or not i can remove without damaging the system, if you know these packages can be removed safely or replaced by an open-source alternative, please tell me

EAP-TLS certificate issue (Android 8 and 9)

Hi, I cannot connect Android 8 and 9 devices to the network that issue using EAP-TLS for authentication. When EAP-TLS flow starts, the device gets Server hello frame with 3 certificates (network cert, intermediate cert and CA certificate) and the device returns an error message that CA certificate is self-signed (it is Entrust -G2 cert and it is on the list of trusted certificates on the device). When I change CA certificate in the network settings from CA certificate that is signing user certificate to Entrust - G2 then Server Hello frame is ok for the device and as a result the device is sending the frame with the user certificate and then the server returns the error Unknown CA.
I checked how it looks on iPad and in this case the server sends the same 3 certificates in Server hello frame and then iPad sends also 3 certificates (user cert, intermediate cert and CA certificate) and the whole authentication procedure is successful.
Has someone ever met such issue on Android or maybe know how to resolve it?
