[MOD][ROOT] Overclock your screen to 75hz refresh rate - Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Edit: uploaded new mod. Let me now if it works correctly now. This mod won't work on weekly betas since they are based on a different kernel. Apply only on eu stable 10.3.2.0 and below. If there are positive feedbacks on this new mod, I'll try a port for the weekly betas. Thanks.
Hi everyone! After developing a port for the Mi 9T / K20, I got requests for the Mix 3, so I developed this mod for the Mi Mix 3 too. I don't have a Mix 3 to test, but in principle it should work. Let me know in the comments. Just make sure to make a backup of dtbo.img first.
Since the mod is based on the MIUI.eu stable version 10.3.2, it's suggested to use it only on this one for now. You can try on other previous versions, but in case of fails revert back to backup.
- 75hz working perfectly
- Minimal battery drain due to slight overclock from original(60hz)
Use it at your own risk! It is unknown if it causes any long term or temporary damage to the screen yet. (But since it uses the same screen as the mi9, which has the same mod released a while back, it should be fine!)

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

MAKE A BACKUP OF DTBO PARTITION FIRST!! (Two Methods choose one)
>>>Via TWRP
- Boot to TWRP
- Select Backup
- Select only the DTBO partition
- Select storage location, click backup
>>>Via Lanthanum System Toolbox App
- Download the attached Lanthanum System Toolbox.apk file, install the apk, then open it
- Select partition settings from the hamburger menu
- Select dtbo, make a backup of it (Export image)
FLASH THE MOD
>>>Via Fastboot
- Connect phone(bootloader mode) to computer
- Open up command prompt
- Type fastboot devices to ensure device is connected
- Type: Fastboot flash dtbo dtbo_mix3_75hz.img
- Done!
You should see the changes immediately after the restart. It's way smoother than before.
If you want to go back to default, flash your backed up dtbo image file either via fastboot or TWRP restore partiton

Can I flash img via lanthanum or twrp? I don't have a pc these days to fastboot flash. BTW thanks for this mod

Device is SIGNIFICANTLY laggier than stock. Flashing on the latest miui.eu beta rom.
Good thing I took that backup.
Edit: restored backup and phone is back to normal. Something is not right with the image.

I get this with latest official beta. I know it's not for this rom just mentioning for others that might be interested. Flashed through lanthanum app.

I also had to reflash ROM via twrp cause after dtbo restore via lanthanum I was stuck @ mi logo

was ok so far, but since i didnt menttion any difference, i aslo run my backup

Updated mod. This mod still applies to eu stable 10.3.2.0 and below. It won't work on weekly betas since they are based on a different kernel, so give feedback only related to eu stable.

Hey man, I know the mod is still in beta, but thanks for your efforts. I wanted to know if I can use the mod in Global 10.3.2. Does it uses the same kernel as eu stable 10.3.2.0?
