Is there anyway to port Redmi k20 series Game turbo ported to our poco f1. Its a genuine request.
I think that our game turbo version is just a knock off of the k20 series version. As we can use browser also while playing a game and it has many other optimizations like that contrast increase thing in the game and touch rejection and sensitivity option inbuilt in its version of Game turbo.

I want to buy a new phone, I like xiaomi, I don't know which to buy, Redmi note 4 snapdragon, Redmi note 4 mtk, Redmi note 3 pro or Redmi 4 prime?? I would use it for regular apps(messenger, youtube, browsing) , some gaming (Hearthstone, clash royale, or anything), and for VR... I like modding, I like custom roms, but I want my phone to be futureproof, so, I want minimum nougat for it... I'm a music lover too, I love hard bass, and I want good headphone audio quality, I like slow mo camera, but I could live without it.. I'm not a selfie lover, so camera is not so important... Which would you choose??
If you want custom ROMs then Kenzo or Kate is your option.

Yea I want, but there will be custom roms on the Redmi 4 prime too, I can wait for it... But, 5 inch is enough for VR content?

Edit:$#!T forgot that mediatek loves to keep its sourced closed so u are likely better off buying any xiaomi device with a snapdragon processor since it had the most development. Buy the redmi note 4 pro or the redmi note 3 pro. If u like big phones go for mix max.

There is no question the MDZ-18-AA can run a few cycles faster but that has nothing to do with Netflix.
No generic android box enjoys recognition and support by Netflix to produce streams higher than 480 resolution.
The MDZ-16-AB is in a unique category of Official AndroidTV devices which have the proper DRM licenses, and are authorized by Netflix to stream at 1080/4UHD resolution. All assuming you have suitable bandwidth, proper Netflix subscription level, and an output device that fully conforms to standards stipulated by Netflix.
Don't be overcome by specsmanship. For your stated requirement for Netflix in the android world, only the mdz-16-ab or another Officially blessed AndroidTV device like Nvixia Shield or Airtv box will suffice.

I have got Mibox Enhanced MDZ-18-AA
Its a beautiful device with almost no issues. but one big problem, its got Chinese OS. I want international ROM to be installed. Is there anything we can do for that?
Is there an official Int'l ROM for this device? Unofficial ROMS might be having a few bugs.

Have you ever seen an official Xiaomi release of international rom for their boxes that are designed for Chinese home market? Of course not. Every box they have produced is for domestic consumption except for one......
There is a single model MDZ-16-AB that is produced for worldwide use outside PRC.
Both models are garbage, Xiaomi makes cheap Chinese junk that gets no product support. Buy an Nvidia Shield TV.
They trolled all their customers with the Mi Box pretending to release Nougat, now pretending to release Oreo. Meanwhile everyone is still stuck with a 2.5 year old OS.
Or wait for the Pro model?

Worth for a lot of reasons, the amoled screen is amazing, the battery life is incredible, the cameras are great. I have no regrets at all.

Same as natanfranghieru. Battery life is just amazing compared to A2 (2-3 days standby and almost 8-9 hs SOT). The cameras are better and camera2 API comes enabled by default. Headphone Jack. AMOLED is great if you don't care too much about resolution (I think the display is better, but that's my opinion). The size of the phone is more confortable in the hand. Great upgrade for me.

I picked the non pro because the pro variant was over £130 (around 50% more than the Mi 9T respectively) more expensive. I'm not in desperate need of the the extra processing power albeit nice, it was not worth the extra cost. Bonus: Battery life is better on the the Mi 9T.

The pro is marginally more expensive where I live (to the point where other phones are possible competitors in the same price range), and I don't play any heavy games on my phone.
I do, however, care a lot about my battery - so the regular was a no-brainer - awesome performance with better battery life? No brainer.

Same, the mi9t is really great no need the pro
Because I wanna have better battery life and SD 730 is more than enough.

Because processing power is overrated these days lol plus 99% of the time, the phone will be used for videos/web browsing/porn. I'm sure i wouldn't be able to tell a difference. And that it's cheaper of course.
cheaper cost and battery efficient.
Battery life was more important for me than processing power. Also price, I'm of the idea that spending more than 300€ on a phone makes no sense.
Because there was no mi 9t pro still and only mi9t was available and i was using pocophone with very bad screen so i am glad to move to this beautiful phone until i back to flagship era next year
for me i don't see any reason to pay more

yes i know, but some ppl searching for more fps in heavy games.
i want to buy k20,cheap!full amoled screen,i don't play games
but the big problem is less roms and all of them is unofficial,im not sure it can use how many gens of android.....
I thought, the same as all you did, cheaper and well enough processor, but what really making me feel bad is the software support from company, as many needed softwares and updates are not as on the pro variant, such as DC dimming, nfc, super fast software update and many more.

Becouse who really record videos on 4k60fps on mobile and where watch them later?
1080p60fps is stilo enough. I dont have event 4k tv.

K20 doesn't have NFC chip whereas Pro variant has it, K20 Pro got a android 10 public Beta as the same day google launched for pixels but for k20 till now the public beta is not out, and many more includes some camera features and some more features in settings app and yes better bug crashing too in Pro variant.

Both have NFC And K20 also has android q in beta builds (closed beta in china) - that's why the updates are suspended.
Camera features? Only one - 4K in 60 FPS
