Uninstall pre-installed app (not disable)

Hi,
Is there a way to uninstall or overwrite an existing app?
I have a phone that came from a carrier with a pre-installed app.
I have a different modified version of this app that I'd like to install but because this package already exists (even though I have a newer version) it's giving me an error "an existing package by the same name with a conflicting...".
I do not have root so unable to uninstall existing app.
Is there a way to overwrite it?
Have Android 7 on Galaxy S7,
Thanks!

Uninstalling preinstalled apps needs root or atleast custom recovery installed.
You can also disable signature verification for package manager but it also require root

Is there a way to change an app signature that I'm trying to install so it will be different than what's installed?

How to disable Air Command (or any system app) after the Oreo update?

My device is SM-T820 (US Galaxy Tab S3 wifi model) and I've been using the paid "BK Package Disabler" app to disable the Air Command app (so that I can use the style button for other things). After the Oreo update I received today BK Package Disbler and its MDM Extension app doesn't work for me anymore.
Does anyone know of a package disabler app that works for Oreo or any other way to disable the Air Command feature?
Thanks.
Suggest reaching out to the dev. I believe they've updated the app, but it may not be available directly via the Play Store.

When I did a search for BK package disabler nothing came up directly. But are you talking about this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.powermanager.batteryaddon
I don't know exactly why it's called that but that's just a direct share from the Play Store. If you look at the app it does what your claiming BK package disabler does.
Thank you guys for your answer. It seems the developer just removed BK Package Disabler from the play store and stopped supporting it, which is pretty irresponsible for a paid app dev. The other package disabler app that's linked above does work for the new OS.
This app works for me: https://github.com/GoldenKappa/notSABS
It works using adb like described here: https://www.xda-developers.com/disable-system-app-bloatware-android/

How do I re-enable Magisk?

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S10+. Few Days ago I installed Application Disable App through the Play Store and freeze the Magisk App. I stupidly later (idk why) un-installed Application Disable App without unfreezing Magisk App. Now i cannot find the Magisk App anywhere (in Settings -> My Apps too). I re installed the Application Disable App and it shows that my Magisk App is frozen but I cannot un-freeze it because I cannot grant it Super User Rights. I also tried re-installing Magisk App but it shows no root Access and shows N/A on Magisk Installed: .

And this over twrp and reinstall?
The easiest way to uninstall Magisk is directly through the Magisk app. If you insist on using custom recoveries, rename the Magisk APK to uninstall.zip and flash it like any other ordinary flashable zip.

any open source GUI adb tool for macos can disable/delete bloatware?
list apps and delete/disable each of them by issuing command is boring. anyone knows any open source lightweight gui tool to do so? thanks

Are you sure that this solution allows to uninstall these apps completely? Won't they be still nested somewhere in phone?
one cannot delete system apps without breaking OTA updates. that's why Magisk is systemless-root method, it does not modify system partition.
disabled apps remain disabled until factory reset. do a backup beforehand, you will brick your device...

But solution that @aIecxs suggested seems to work different than just disabling an app. When using ADB to uninstall an app it is no longer visible in apps management in settings.
