P30 Pro 6GB or 8GB RAM - Huawei P30 Pro Guides, News, & Discussion

How big is the difference between the 6 and 8gb versions? The phone will be used for gaming and everyday use.

The 6gb version is 128 GB in storage
And 8 is 256gb in storage

Mine is 128gb with 8gb RAM. I was quite surprised because I was expecting 6gb.

Ohhhh?? maybe its a region thing?

I have a 8/128 tbh i dont you will notice a big difference on a phone, depends if you multitask alot maybe but you wont notice unless you have a 6 and 8gb model next to each other.

[Q] recommendation for micro sd card

i want to buy 16gb micro sd card... any recommendation? or should i just get the 32gb since my theory is 32gb take time to load then it leads to the phone slow down...
any ideas will be nice

nahh, its all up to you. i still have the stock class 2, 8gb one cos i'm not big on the sd card, but I would prefer a class 10, 16gb one.

16gb class 10 on my phone 16gb class 4 on the other which is my wife's lol
If you don't do link2sd, app2sd or data2sd I doubt you'll see a difference. If you do use anyone of those then yes you will see a difference when using a higher class.

The S3 T999 which has 2gb of RAM has only dual cores not quad so good luck.
tnx
so not a chance 2 get both 2GB ram and 1.4 quad anywhere??
the most importent thing 2 me is that it will be the regular int. v.
BTW
if u can recommend on good price that will be gr8
International version has 1gb so no, you won't be able to get it with 2

Only the Korean version has 2GB + 4core (as discussed in several threads),
but it will most certainly not work very well on our networks (3G-only)
So... no luck.
By the way, I don't recommend to buy sgs3, if RAM is important for you. Because it's always run out of memory of you use many applications.
Try to wait new models to come (neither samsung or HTC)

Yep korean version has 2gb ram and quadcore. but they dont have sim slots.
Have you actually checked or are you repeating other people's guesses?
I've read both affirmation and negation with good arguments so I'm unsure of either.

So who do you recommend? Samsung and HTC being the 2 most prominent Android phone suppliers and as such having the largest R&D department there are not many others that can outsmart them in the high-end market.
If you want a large screen, lots of RAM and real multitasking get a freaking Netbook. Or wait for the Note2

International or Korean version?

the korean version of s3 says to have 2gb ram and also still have the quad core exynos 4412 chip. while the international just have 1gb of ram.
but what is the other differences of the two actually? because i've been searching the net and some articles says that it has 2gb ram and just have dual core dragon chipset. and what are the advantage of korean and international version?
because i live in philippines so maybe there are some things that aren't working on korean version here in my place.
thanks in advance!
Try the new note if 2 gigs interests you.

nah, i don't like it. because it's too big. i prefer the size of s3.
bump!?
The advantage of the Korean would definitely be the 2GB of ram, but the downside would be the lack of development for it, i dont think that international roms will be compatible

Well after a while of searching it seems this is the model number " SHV-E210K" it has 4G,2GB of RAM and quad core, although it is allegedly slightly thicker than gt-i9300. Something else to consider is that the 4G radio probably won't work in the US.

Anything that's class 10 is fast enough, eg for 1080p video. Transcend do a good one but if you don't mind paying a bit more then the SanDisk Extreme is excellent.

But I saw a lot of negetive comments on class 10 memory cards on s2. They say it causes a lot of issues.

Sandisk Ultra Class 10.
I use class 4 16 gb instead of 32 gb class 10, feels better for me. Just look at the prices, there are these very cheap ones and expensive ones, try to buy one with a price that makes sense, in sd cards, generally pricey means durability, so focus on prices and get something your budget likes.

Hmm....currently using class 4 16gb sandisk with no problems. Thinking of expanding to 32 gb.
Price is secondary, i dont want to end up paying on a sd card which stops working after a few days of usage.
Just asking if anyone is using a 32gb with a good class with no issues and lags on their s2.
If yes, which one??

I've been using that card for >2 yrs & never had a problem with it/with the S2.
Have been using a Samsung class 10 32gb SD card, bought it 6+ months ago for around £30 I think? They're a lot cheaper now. Not a single problem. Bought direct from Amazon.co.uk

I wasn't aware of that. But I might have been mistaken when I recommended Transcend. I thought that was what I have on my phone but that one is actually in my camera.

I have a class 10 32gb Lexar. It's read speed is brilliant - like all decent class 10 cards. It's write speed is quite low.
As a result I use my lexar sd for the storing of music, videos, apks etc. But I tend not to 'write' onto it with camera and video stuff. It will probably be fine but the write speed isn't that high so I don't want to risk errors or anything.
Thanks for ur advice guys
