Hi, I write again here, sorry. Can anyone help me with the block bootloader procedure? I want to try custom roms and unlock bootloader is simple, but if I want to restore the phone like new, like when you open the box, what do I have to do? Anyone can help me step by step? Thank you so much

I have the bootloader unlocked and Stock rom official, to take advantage of the warranty what is the procedure to relock the bootloader. I read in this thread to fastboot and run: fastboot flash lock
Has no contraindications?
can you also use mi flash tool and flash_all_lock.sh script?
Thanks

Switch to partition A, run flash_all.bat from the latest fastboot rom, start the phone. If it boots correctly, lock the bootloader with fastboot flashing lock command or run flash_all_lock.bat

Thanks.

If you were able to switch partitions, then you did not lock your bootloader.
Reflash full stock Android 10 ROM, it might solve your wifi issues.

Stock recovery disabled via twrp, how to enable it?

Hi, I used fastboot to boot TWRP without flashing it (using fastboot boot twrp.img). Foolishly of me when exit TWRP I was asked to disabled Stock Recovery wich I swiped yes. Now my stock recovery is gone. How do I enable it via TWRP again without having to flash it? or what are my options? phone functionlity was not afected, just the stock recovery.
thanks.
imho you either use twrp OR stock recovery. so in my opinion youve done all right.
Download fastboot image.. extract boot.img from it. Boot in TWRP using fastboot .. then install->install image->boot.img(file you extracted)->flash->choose recovery, not boot when where to flash->done.
If it doesn't work then flash the whole fastboot image with mitool.

I ended up flashing the whole image beacuse it bricked when using the command "fastboot oem lock".
any idea why it bricked? i did flash a stock recovery before in order to lock it again.
After rooting it im interested in locking the bootloader again. Maybe I skipped a procedure in order to lock the bootloader again??
Right now im rooted, phone working, stock recovery (since I flashed a fastboot image with SP tools) and unlocked bootloader but I want to lock it without bricking it again.
thanks.

To lock bootloader again you must flash stock image via fastboot with "lock bootloader" bat file (it is in stock image flashtool zip). But why U need to lock bootloader? i dont see sense to do it.

Hi, thanks for the answer, I want to lock it because some features got disabled when unlocking the bootloader, like xiaomis "Find mi Device". I also read that having the bootloader unlocked may compromise your data security.

Thank you. I tried to reset through the setting and through eRecovery, for both, the reset stuck at 0%. Bootloader is unlocked, FRP is locked. I can't toggle the button to enable OEM unlocking.
Are you using phone with working sim, or without? Why I ask about sim? If not working sim card, then a lot phones will not give OEM unlock option, once it was for me with Sony phone, after I inserted sim needet to wait weak and only then OEM unlock option was accessable.
What are your phone full model ? Like, ane-lx1c432b166

ok, didnt give full ph0ne model, dont need, can go and find all you need yourself : from this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...om-official-emui-8-0-huawei-p20-lite-t3773999
7. dload package
In this site you can search for firmware by Huawei P20 Lite or directly by your device oem name (ANNE-L01, ANNE-L03, ANNE-L21, ANNE-L22, ANNE-L23, etc...
http://androidhost.ru/search.html
Download the firmware that match with your device and unzip.
Under folder Software you will found the folder dload, copy this folder to sdcard.
Under folder ReleaseDoc you will find a Software Upgrade Guideline.docx, read it.
User data will be wiped.
Update is done with stock recovery
If your Bootloader is currently unlocked at the end it will be changed to lock state.
i gues you have your bootloader code, you can even use older package, adn reset your phone using this dload method!!

Hallo again,
Ok so for the stock recovery you can download it on the thread by ciubi93, on this link https://mega.nz/#!SR9RzKST!dhXS0yC-p_SvWu-SYYLaop1aRFzSulLVrnSXCVVJiGI after you download this, download the fastboot adb tools - here's a link of the xda for that https://www.xda-developers.com/install-adb-windows-macos-linux/ after you did that guide from xda, copy the stock recovery into that folder and then press shift+right click of your mouse on the folder and select "open powershell window here (in case of windows 10) or in case of windows 7 (open command prompt window here)" , if you have a power shell window then power off your device then press power ON + volume down and type on the window ".\fastboot flash recovery recovery_ramdisk.img ", after this you have your stock recovery successfully reset and you can now flash the official dload package, try it via power ON + Volume down + Volume up at the same time until the huawei logo disappears and then you release.
I really hope this helps cause I tried this a lot on mine.

Hi there
Yeah I forgot you have FRP locked....My bad....Anyway, can you tell me the current build you have and the one you want to install? Example: C17 8.0.0.140
Because if you try to install a different firmware which is not from your country you need to change your oem info first.
Cheers,

Also if you had it unlocked I assume you have the unlock code with you, in that case try this first:
Relock the bootloader using fastboot command "fastboot oem relock *codehere* " this will erase all DATA, it will do an hard reset, be sure to backup first!
After that, you can unlock the bootloader again via fastboot command "fastboot oem unlock *codehere*" and then it will unlock both bootloader and FRP

Hm, if I'm correct, you can't unlock bootloader, if frp are locked, frp will be unlocked, when you allow OEM unlock under developer options.
Only thing there can do, connect with mofuz ROM developer to help return to stock, otherwise our suggestions will not work, because all I know is for stock emui.
But yeah, with right phone build number he shulda be able to return to stock with no problem, so, does he know what was stock emui build he had before started to play with phone..??!!
And, can download all dload packages and try them all, no harm if it fails, but maybe some will reflash system as it should be

You can't unlock FRP when you have the booloader unlocked yes I know, but what I said is for him to relock first and then unlock it again Once he unlocks again the FRP will become unlocked, I looked into this thread for that and they also confirmed it works here's the proof if you have doughts quoting @clsA "FRP Lock occurs when the phone has a firmware mismatch and or oem unlocking is not on in developer options":
Here's the thread (check @gopinaidu77 post and then the answers after that):

That's interesting. So all your data was wiped when you used the hstool?
Someone else said flashing firmware via dload method also relocks the bootloader.
hmm i'm not sure.
I'll explain the whole situation.
I had just unlocked the bootloader and installed magisk.
after installing magisk, I installed a few modules, one of which made my phone bootloop.
I managed to get back into fastboot mode, use hstool to select my firmware (224) along with the patched hisuite from funkyhuawei.
after my phone recovered, it seems to have been completely reset and locked.
*edit*
I guess I should also add, I've never installed TWRP on this phone, only patched the recovery_ramdis.img for Magisk

You need an external usb-c drive with some firmware on it.
I initially used v187 from this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-20-pro/how-to/firmware-update-187-brings-oem-unlock-t3897301
Since then I downloaded a v206 which works over USB but I cannot recall where I got it from.
Note that you will loose all user data since the phone will be fully wiped.
Also this method requires a phone that is working, as in able to boot and access the dialer and menus.
If I find out where I got the v206 I will post it here as well.
I should also add, maybe it might work with a memory card as well... But this method requires an external source for the firmware since it formats the entire phone
@ xeroxide Thx for your help.
I Try this at the weekend.
If you need to relock your bootloader, this is the process:
Using eRecovery, restore your phone to stock
Once done, boot into recovery and RESET your phone (if you dont, it will not allow you to lock the bootloader)
Boot into fastboot mode (Holding Vol-DOWN, plug in usb cable) , and run the command
fastboot oem relock < bootloader unlock code>
the phone should now ask you that it will wipe your device, confirm,
Enjoy locked phone!

HELP! Official June 2020 ota update failed. Stuck bootloop. Stock phone

Poco f1 no root, locked bootloader, stock phone received the official ota for june 2020 security patch and got stuck on 90.49% of installation for hours.
I then tried to restart my phone and ended up in bootloop.
Fastboot, stock recovery accessible.
Tried draining the battery and then charging it and booting but no luck.
Tried 'fastboot erase cache' from minimal adb but failed.
i DO NOT want to lose my data, Is there a way to get a backup of the internal storage pls help ASAP.
try flashing fastboot rom with miflash and at the bottom there is option SAVE USER DATA,
fastboot rom will be 3 gb to download, extract and then again extract until u see files,
take this folder, put it in C drive and give a smaller name.
now open mi flash, put device is Fastboot mode, and flash it with SAVE USER DATA option / don't LOCK the device (if your boot is unlocked)
remember, i personaly never tested this method, just read over the internet, perhaps you should see youtube videos also on this

Soft bricked device can be recovered by simply fastboot.
But with locked bootloader, it is hard to recover your device because now it is hard bricked. You can do EDL Flashing but you need authorized mi account and certain tools to do that.
Your last resort for now is to bring your device to a Xiaomi certified service center, they have the right tools for the job.

relock bootloader?

Has anyone here tried to relock the bootloader? I am thinking about buying an s7 plus and giving this away. I know that knox is permanently broken, but do not want to give away the tablet rooted (or I will be come tech support). What I would want to remove beside root is the warning message on boot.
@tensux
Hey dude,
do you achieved to relock the bootloader then ?
If yes did you use the fastboot "oem re-lock" command ?
Please let me know, thanks.

If you want to re-lock your bootloader you have to go in Download mode. If with Android 11 or above don't forget to attach your tablet onto a PC before switching to Download mode, then long press with Volume Down button. Change are your system will be erased before it reboots so don't forget to backup everything before unless you don't care...

Thank you for quick reply man.
So it's the same as unlocking,
and the oem button into the developer option,
should switch itself off ?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Samsung devices don't have fastboot, they only have download mode (Odin). You can relock them by reflashing stock firmware most of the time.
Were you able to relock the bootloader, I’m looking to do the same. Any assistant ace would be helpful

Hi man,
next month I will try to re-lock the bootloader and return the tablet to factory condition. As soon as I do I will post step by step how I did.
Cheers

Hello,
well, starting from a rooted device, without TWRP,
last firmware android 11 build T865XXS5CUL1_T865OXM5CUL1_ITV.
DO A BACKUP OF YOUR STUFF,
process will delete everything.
I download the same firmware and unzip it
into a folder on my pc.
Remove all the accounts and securities.
Reboot the device into Download mode
and via Odin3 (v.3.1.14) install the same
firmware (use csc not home csc)
and reboot into system (will factory reset the tablet).
Boot again in Download mode and
keeping vol up enter the relock bootloader section.
After relocking the teblet, it will factory reset again
and reboot into system.
Done.
Do your upgrades and reset your securities.
Cheers
Thank you for your instructions! I had a question, did the warning message disappear after relocking the bootloader?
