HELP! Official June 2020 ota update failed. Stuck bootloop. Stock phone - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Poco f1 no root, locked bootloader, stock phone received the official ota for june 2020 security patch and got stuck on 90.49% of installation for hours.
I then tried to restart my phone and ended up in bootloop.
Fastboot, stock recovery accessible.
Tried draining the battery and then charging it and booting but no luck.
Tried 'fastboot erase cache' from minimal adb but failed.
i DO NOT want to lose my data, Is there a way to get a backup of the internal storage pls help ASAP.

try flashing fastboot rom with miflash and at the bottom there is option SAVE USER DATA,
fastboot rom will be 3 gb to download, extract and then again extract until u see files,
take this folder, put it in C drive and give a smaller name.
now open mi flash, put device is Fastboot mode, and flash it with SAVE USER DATA option / don't LOCK the device (if your boot is unlocked)
remember, i personaly never tested this method, just read over the internet, perhaps you should see youtube videos also on this

Fastboot ROM can't be flashed without unlocking the bootloader. He has locked BL.
OP you can't do anything now sadly. All data will be wiped, and only way to reset phone is factory reset. Approach nearest service centre maybe they can help in some way.

I face same problem with OP. but I have unlocked bootloader. sadly I've doing wipe data from stock recovery but no luck.
not detected by mi pc suite. should I use miflash and download the full rom?

Soft bricked device can be recovered by simply fastboot.
But with locked bootloader, it is hard to recover your device because now it is hard bricked. You can do EDL Flashing but you need authorized mi account and certain tools to do that.
Your last resort for now is to bring your device to a Xiaomi certified service center, they have the right tools for the job.

I guess I can even without wifi.. I could use sim data to input a mi account.. But it would take some days. I was hoping for a quicker solution. If not then I will do as you say.

No permission need to apply.
Just Turn on sim data
. And Try to add account in developer option. See if can be successfully added in developer option > miunlock status.
Let me know if u getting 20091 error in developer option.
First I flashed persist with fastboot commands. Everything was successful but still the same problem. Then I installed OrangeFox TWRP with fastboot commands. Booted straight up to recovery and flashed the image as you said to persist partition. Selected to reboot to system and stays stucked at MI logo with no loading. Any ideas?

Hi, I write again here, sorry. Can anyone help me with the block bootloader procedure? I want to try custom roms and unlock bootloader is simple, but if I want to restore the phone like new, like when you open the box, what do I have to do? Anyone can help me step by step? Thank you so much
I have the bootloader unlocked and Stock rom official, to take advantage of the warranty what is the procedure to relock the bootloader. I read in this thread to fastboot and run: fastboot flash lock
Has no contraindications?
can you also use mi flash tool and flash_all_lock.sh script?
Thanks
Switch to partition A, run flash_all.bat from the latest fastboot rom, start the phone. If it boots correctly, lock the bootloader with fastboot flashing lock command or run flash_all_lock.bat
Thanks.

If you were able to switch partitions, then you did not lock your bootloader.
Reflash full stock Android 10 ROM, it might solve your wifi issues.

Need help.. cant turn on my Phone.. always stuck at android one Logo and fastboot (when i try hold volume up and power )
i rooted phone (adb, twrp, magisk) . Everything well good, but WIFI didn't work. Then i get in TWRP and maybe deleted partition A and B( ) i can't get through the Fastboot.

now i cant find my device with Adb devices (its says List of devices attached)
pls help :/ thank you.
Go to nearest service centre
Going to a service center probably isn't a wise idea. You've rooted your phone - your warranty is gone.
I guess you don't have the right drivers installed OR, the stock rom you were trying to flash had some issues with the flash script. You might want to take a look at this post
Download the correct stock ROM for your device, the .tgz version & flash it with miflash tool. It's important to note that some versions of miflash tool don't work with Mi A series phones for unknown reasons.
Alternatively, if your recovery is working, then you can flash the recovery version of stock rom. It's all available on this forum.

I think you somehow had your wifi / mobile data on & the phone downloaded the OTA & auto updated itself to the latest firmware, that is V10.3.6.0.

Just reboot your device when it finishes after 600 seconds. Miflash doesn't tell you that it successfully flashed it it just goes on forever. So just reboot and it will work.

managed to get into EDL mode by shorting the pinouts, but still cant flash stock ROM cuz apparently xiaomi has to authorize it (ie i dont have permission to unbrick it). This is the first and last xiaomi phone I'll ever buy - never had a phone where there was no option i had to unbrick it. going to ****in smash it to peices!
I felt sorry that no one did help these people,
go to fastboot and run windows commands in twrp folder and type as following :
- option one:
fastboot devices
./fastboot set_active b
./fastboot erase boot
./fastboot set_active a
./fastboot erase boot
fastboot flashing unlock (optional)
fastboot Flash boot [put twrp name].img or go to mi flash to install stock rom. or unzip the stock rom from bat file run it
or try the second option:

Unbrick realme XT with MSM tool
Hi friends,
I recently tried to unlock bootloader of Realme XT running on Android 10, Realme Ui.
I successfully unlocked the bootloader with official method and I installed Twrp. Now comes the issue, after 1st reboot, the Twrp was replaced by stock recovery, so I again tried to flash, but there was write error and I couldn't flash back using adb.
Now, the mistake, so I thought why not to repeat the same process again, that is again locking the bootloader and repeating all the steps. I forgot the I shouldn't do it with adb and use the official method.
I put the command in adb to relock bootloader and my bootloader crashed saying it's destroyed. I couldn't get into recovery nor fastboot with any of the method. After doing a lot of research I found the MSM tool for flashing with the crack but it didn't serve the purpose.
Afterwards, I took remote help of one of service person paid him online, he also used MSM tool, but he was having username and password, and one my realme XT again started working.
The day I am able to use MSM tool in cracked condition will be able to take risks of rooting again.
Thanks for listening to the story.

Redmi 10c bootloop issue

so yesterday as I was flashing a custom rom for my device I found out that the hotspot wasn't working, I've look for solution across the internet and have found out that flashing persist.img on persist partition via twrp shall do the work, I did the same as instructed in the post downloaded the same file which I didn't confirm if it was really for my device, so after that my phone is stuck on an endless bootloop if I try to reboot to system luckily both fastboot and recovery was still accessible so I tried flashing another rom, stock, and even run flashrom.bat via fastboot but that didn't seem to fix it, now I'm only left with flashing stock img via miflash tool and hope it work for me, I can't really afford to pay anyone to fix it not at the moment and I want to atleast try to troubleshoot it somehow, what other options am I left with? hope I can get some answers
