Apps auto enable upon phone startup despite disabling - Xiaomi Mi A3 Questions & Answers

Good morning,
I have disabled a number of apps on my phone, but 2 of the apps will auto enable themselves each time I startup my phone/open Play Store/update or uninstall an app.
The 2 apps are:
Chrome
Photos
Any workarounds? There is no issues with other apps that I have disabled other than these 2

I've found odd that Chrome keeps being activated on every open of Play Store or whenever I installl/update other apps.
Isn't there a workaround besides rooting?

[Q] How can I remove a disabled system app from the Play Store history/My Apps list)

Hi, i've noticed that once I update a system apk for the first time from the play store, it appears in the "My Apps" list on Google Play. However if I then disable that app, it still appears under the play store history (with "disabled" shown next to it), but with no way to remove it from the My Apps list. Aside from rooting the phone and removing the apk by hand (which I know causes the App to disappear from the My Apps list, disabled or not), and then reloading the apk, but disabling it before google play detects it again, is there any way to remove that app from the My Apps list in the play store? I've tried online through the desktop store but I can't find a way to do that either.
I would like to know this too, Got a bunch of crapware apps disabled (frozen) with Titanium Backup but they still show up as "Disabled" under ALL My Apps in the Google Play Store. Annoying
From your mobile open the Play Store app. Open the panel from the left and select "My apps".
Choose "All" and hit the cross on the right of each app you want to remove from this list.

That sounds good in theory but just isn't true. I have no crosses (x's) on all those apps that are disabled (frozen with Titanium Backup). There is no way to remove them from the freakin' all apps list

You need to uninstall them of course. Freezing isn't uninstalling.

Disable Google Play Services

Who can tell wich services can I disable on Google Play Services app or plugin or whatever it is with app called Disable Service(available on play market)
It's running in background and hogging ram... I want to uncheck only those options wich won t ruin something or will disable Google Play Store
or can I uncheck all? There is about 60 services.
or maybe I can uninstall whole Google Play Services app? Will It cause any bugs?
As far as I know it's possible.
I already dealt with Annoying Google Maps that BIT*H is done and won t run in background at least till it will be needed.
Thanks
Anyone?

I don t know wich services are causing this but here's what unchecked:
first 11 services starting from mdmdispatcherservice and ending with gamessyncservicenotification
and PlusService , PlayMateService
whats up with the trial? I downloaded mine from playmarket it seems to be ok
p.s. googleplayservices will turn on and run in the background as soon as u run Youtube app or playmarket but it won t turn it self over and over once u force stop it
edit: actually now I think u have to uncheck services wich are highlighted blue... those are the running services

Sweet app, this Disable Service! Thanks for the tip. I have frozen Google Play Services completely using App Quarantine, and no adverse effects for me - quite the opposite actually since the phone behaves better in all ways (memory-constrained 512 Mb Xperia Ray might be why). But if I run into any troubles, I'll go the Disable Service way instead.
-Scarface- Have you any further encounters with unchecking services since you post in August?
Use greenify, much better and safe.
Don't forget to convert google services to user app first with titanium so you can chose to hibernate in greenify.

Well I tried Greenify:
I uninstalled Disable-Service and installed Greenify, used Titanium to convert Google Services to user app, but I found that Greenify kept reporting it had failed to hibernate Google Play services. So I’ve re installed Disable-Service, which works for me.

Did you have installed Xposed Insaller and you have enabled Greenify from it?
An other question: I have disabled these services, there are other useless services?

Sorry that was over a year ago, I cant remember now.
However I never succeeded in stopping Google play services and its wake-locks using 2% of my battery.

Play store updates..

I know this happens probably on all other hardware as well, but on my Mega has become an almost daily matter.. is there a way to PERMANENTLY STOP, BLOCK AND FORBID the stupid Google Play Store app to keep updating itself to newer versions? Every new version is worse than the previous and no matter I Uninstall updates, they come right back again next time U open the app.. this is driving me crazy.. thanks for the input
just disable playstore app in application manager, then enable back when needed, all my device playstore were disabled, I enable it when needed.
Or find the setting in playstore app to disable auto update.

No. Turning off the app in application manager doesn't work because when I turn it on again to use the app, immediately the first thing that happens is the app updating itself to the newer version. And disabling the auto-uodatr only work for apps downloaded from the play store, NOT the pay store app itself.

Thanks for the feedback, yeah that's how it works, disable it for preventing auto update, when enable back it will self auto update, hate it so much
No other way. everytime I used the playstore app it will auto update and when I didn't want to use, I always uninstall updates and disable it.

So crazy.. there has got to be a way to hack the play store so it doesn't auto update itself.. I had such a version 3.x on my old Galaxy Tab 7 with gingerbread.. from Android Honeycomb up, it's all downhill.. I'm so over Android..

hope so, so I could get a paid game for free.
btw I have 3 devices, N8000, I9200 and N900. I9200 and N900 never login to app store so never get auto update, N8000 login because some of game app need to sign in to play store, once you sign in to app store you'll never get out, until I still couldn't find a way to logout.
I have already done it from my Mega. I think it should be work good.. i am wait now..

ConfigService
DispatchingService
FusedProviderService
GcmRegisterService
GcmSchedulerWakeupService
GcmService
GeocodeService
GeofenceProviderService
GoogleHttpService
GoogleLocationManagerService
GoogleLocationService
GservicesValueBrokerService
IndexService
MonitorService

All of Google Services Framework
Doing that + greenifying Google Play services should solve your problem (at least it did for me). I haven't noticed any problems with my apps either, although I don't really use any of the Google ones except for the Play Store.

Try taking away all of Google Play services' permissions in app ops. Also, in disable service disable:
All of Google Backup Transports
All of Google Calendar Sync
All of Google Contacts Sync
All of Google Play Movies
Google Play Store - Content Sync Service (if this kills the play store then reenable it)
If that doesn't work then try uninstalling Play Services and reinstalling an older version without wi-fi on. After that, disable the services related to updating it.

googla play services stopped

i keep gettingthis error and it will not load or connect to the google play store and it also says google keyboard has stopped working, i have tried flashing back to stock, i have tried flashing a new google gapps pack and nothing works anyhelp would be great.
Same issue here: Settings -> Apps -> All -> Google Play Services -> Manage Space -> Clear All Data fixed it (thanks to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59668746&postcount=6)

Yep - no modifications of any kind, no root access. Still, after updating to 4.0.2, Play Services started crashing incessantly

Hm, Google Keyboard didn't crash for me. Maybe try clearing settings for that one as well?
To get Play Store to connect and re-download Google Play, I had to re-enter my Google account password. The tablet prompted me to enter my details after a few reboots, but you could probably add your account manually using "Accounts" in the settings app as well.
