ROM 9.9.6 android Q - Xiaomi Mi 9 Guides, News, & Discussion

I am the only one to whom the ROM 9.9.6 android Q allows only to rise to 586 mhz the gpu and antutu does not exceed 320 k

I don't know about the GPU freqs but yeah, I also am not able to exceed 320k on Antutu. I am on Mi9 9.9.6 Q

Give them a fat minute, they should be able to learn more about Q and then they can release the entire rom.

My lg p870 murdered my lg l 9 (769) antutu

Wow did a antutu test on both of my phones and was expecting my L 9 to beat my escape. Boy was I suprised! My l 9 got a 10,568 ( pretty good compared to some). Then I ran the escape. My jaw dropped when I saw the amazing score of 15139. WHOA, it beat it in every catagory except RAM operation. My l 9 is running kumas rom with pure performance tweaks with cpu overclocked at 1.2 ghz. The escape is running sphinx rom with no cpu tweaks. Strange thing is every stats info I see on the escape says it has 1.2 ghz dc snapdragon. However im getting 1.5 ghz??? hmm Whats everyone else scores looking like for their L 9 ?
I get around 11k running mateo's CM 10.2 ROM.

That's because custom rom overclock both CPU & GPU so it has higher score.
My L9 on CM 10.2 by mateo with stock cpu and gpu speeds i have 9843 pts
With CPU at 1,2 GHz i have 10671
With stock CPU and GPU at 384 MHz i have 9732 pts
With CPU at 1,2 GHz and GPU at 384 MHz i have 10706
With CPU at 1,35 GHz and GPU at 384 MHz i have 11502

Your LG Escape has got a better cpu and gpu and it would have shown better performance anyway. My L9 running stock showed maximum of 9600 with pure performance tweaks. But I don't think Antutu points can give you a good idea of how fast and smooth your phone is

Thats what I was getting at. Despite having a better cpu and gpu on the escape using both phones side by side in real world use the L9 performs better ALL around. The gpu was a big part of the escapes high score. However in side by side comparisons the L9S graphics seems to look better and out perform the escape. So I honestly believe all benchmark scores reflects what the phones software/hardware is CAPABLE of performing not really HOW it performs with daily use. This would explain why a score can as much as double by simply running a custom rom. I would never solely base my opinion of a phones performance on a benchmark score. Sure it can give you a idea of what its software/hardware is capable of. However you cant honestly get a true feel for the performance until you try the phone. So my escape murders my L9 in benchmark scores. BUT my L9 murders my escape in real life usable performance. Anyone else agree with this?

Yeah, I got your point! I guess, the only good thing about the Escape's cpu and gpu is that it's more battery-friendly, isn't it?

Yep, and both phones use the exact same battery. The escapes standby battery life is much longer than the L9 . During normal use the escape lasts longer as well by not to the degree of the standby difference.

snapdragon 820 locked to 1.2ghz

So?
Sorry im on vacation ^^
On cpu area settings what is the max frequency can you set?
Big 2150mhz Little 1593mhz
If you set max frequency to 2150 and the cpu go to 1270 is strange because The temperature is not hot
My frequency when The cpu is hot was 1400 The big core and 1090 The little
Is very strange.. Can you try to set the frequency to 1700 and monitoring if change

I think there's no difference. The best thing is the fact that CloudyRom is stock-based and Xcam is working. Xcam will not work with Marshmallow or Nougat. There is no driver.
CloudyRom (lollipop) + dorimanx. With a few cpu tweaks, it works like high end phones.

How has your battery life been so far? I've read somewhere after some months it degrades, so on and so forth. Performance must be good though, no?

3 years old phone, it lasts a day with average usage.
When I set up maximum cpu frequency, I get better performance but lower battery life, still can be considered moderate.

I use these settings;
master core section
- cpu governor; alucard
- touch boost frequency - 1.95 ghz
- cpu touch boost interval - 350 ms
- affected cores on touch boost - 4 cores
- cpu governor sample rate - 10000 rate
- max cpu - 2.80 ghz, min cpu - 499 mhz
- max screen of cpu - 1.95 ghz, min screen of cpu - 499 mhz
cpu hotplug section
- hotplug driver; autosmp hotplug
- cpu hotplug sample rate - 10
- touch core boost - quad core
- touch boost duration - 1250 ms
- max cores online - quad core, min cores online - 2 cores
this can be considered as high performance profile, you can increase values but be careful of cpu temp. I use device for daily needs, I don't play games. It doesn't heat too much but battery drains a little bit faster.
Lineage 14.1, with the supplied kernel. Very stable, camera is so-so but otherwise the phone is a pleasure to use.

Cpu listed as Octa-core Max 2.8GHz in settings and Qualcomm Qualcomm in geekbench

I just flashed 8.11.29 from mi-globe. Is this normal? Geekbench score is around where it should be.

Galaxy s9 plus speed test ! android 8 vs android 9 !

what do u think about antutu scores ? model s9 plus
android 8 : processor 93.000 android 9: 88.000
android 8 gpu: 94.000 android 9: 107.000
android 8 ux: 56.000 android 9: 53.000
android 8 ram: 8600 android 9: 8400
why antutu scores was decrease ? only increase gpu score.
planned obsolescence ?

Its not planned obsolescence, there are many things that affect scores especially going to a new OS update. Kernel optimizations, OS background services and features affect scores for example.
And based on your results:
-5.4% CPU performance change
+12.1% GPU performance
-5.4% User experience (OS performance score)
-2.3% RAM performance
Scores 5% or less is negligible as it is within margin of error. If u look at the GPU score its a huge improvement. Bear in mind I am only looking at your results. Most likely you did an OTA update from Oreo and it isnt a good comparison as it isnt a clean PIE vs clean OREO benchmark.
I myself have problems with PIE update and had to revert to OREO, something are worse with PIE and I have had apps crashing. Also, Oreo is much smoother for me when i did a downgrade, and I will be running Antutu myself to see if I get the same OREO scores.
EDIT:
CPU 89894
GPU 93097
UX 54489
RAM 8267
OREO on clean install Antutu. It looks like your initial scores on OREO was a tad high. PIE does not slow down your phone.
thanks for info
