Great Work
I downloaded and flashed the TWRP for my SM-T330NU (milletwifi) and it works great. It allowed me to flash the new Lineage 16 build and despite the age and limited ability of this old tablet, I am now running Android Pie!

Excellent Work.
Milletlte works great. Flashed your Los16 Build also works Like a Charme.
Thank you.

Sorry, the Lineage rom appears to be 16 not 16.1. Here is where I first learned about new ROM development for our SM-T330NU...https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/samsung-galaxy-tab-4-light-project-t3877643. DJABHipHop has worked with many Samsung Tab 4 devices and provided more updated roms for us. You need to have Telegram installed then go to https://t.me/LightFastRoms. You will have to read through several postings but you will eventually see the new Lineage build for the milletwifi which is our 330NU. You will need to flash this new TWRP then there are 2 new milletwifi builds on Telegram, make sure you read the postings and eventually flash the build with "ota" in the title in order to have full functionality of the notifications bar.

TWRP Clock Function Incorrect
First of all, this TWRP works great and it is so nice to have an updated recovery available for our Tab 4's. The only thing I have noticed is that the time function is totally incorrect and I haven't been able to correct it from the TWRP settings menu. I don't really care if the time listed at the top of the TWRP page is correct but I have noticed that when I do a backup, the date is totally wrong, for instance I just backed up before flashing the most recent milletwifi build and the backup title is dated 2014-01-12!

You are amazing man i really appreciate you still develop for abandoned devices

Cant install TWRP
Hi,
I downloaded the .tar file and loaded it on to my sd card, but my tablet couldn't read it. Then I tried extracting the recovery img from the file and tried to flash it, but i got an error saying, 'Error opening: '/external_sd/samsung tab 4 roms/recovery.img' (No such file or directory)'
Sorry if this a noob question, but what are the exact steps for installing twrp on this tablet? I remember having a OPO, and installing things on it was a breeze. Thanks!

You can get the APG2 firmware from samsung HERE but it will take hours to download unless you pay. Alternatively, you can use THIS link (much, much faster) which will get you to the AOFA baseband and you can just take 1 OTA to get to APG2.
Hi i got the APG2 Firmware and then took the ota to be in the required baseband i downloaded your rom i follow every step but the recovery never recognized the back up in restore option what can i do ?

The download is OK from android filehost, MD5 checks and all.
Did a dirty flash upon the T231 rom you made. Did this so i don't have to setup the tablet again. Since it is almost simmelair hardware i thought it won't matter. In case of problems i will do a full whipe and fress install.
But for now, teh SM-T230 rom works like a charm on the tablet. The stopsign in the message bar is gone (was because of the caller options inside the rom). It shows Model SM-T230 in the info screen.
So as far as i can see, everything is solid SM-T230!! Please let me know if i can help any further with testing or whatever i can help with, and thanks again for this nice work! You're the best Yash92Duster!!!
Of course i'll report bugs or if it keeps on working solid!
Cheers!!

That patch level in the original post says
"Android Security Patch Level - 01 November 2016"
If that is correct, it is more than 1 year out of date.
@yash92duster, is the patch level Nov 1 2017 or 2016? Do you have plans to add the recent Dec 5, 2017 Android patches?

Experiments with 9.0 build - G8342 Only

I built 9.0 a couple days ago just because science and all that stuff. Observations.
The version of AOSP I built is: android-9.0.0_r6 :: G8342 Only
I built a regular version then I built another version with opengapps micro package built-in.
What I've noticed so far: Dual SIMs issue just like my other 8.0 build, unfortunately again. Only 1 sim is available.
Don't forget your OEM file.
Software binaries for AOSP Oreo (Android 8.1) – Kernel 4.9 – Yoshino
Software binaries for AOSP Oreo (Android 8.1) – Kernel 4.4 – Yoshino
I can make phone calls with sim1 just fine. Camera works but @ 17MP, obviously AOSP builds so no green images(Open Devices).
I'll post some images now.

That is true. I remember flashing and booting all 3 OEM files, if it doesn't boot on your end just go back to fastboot and flash the other.
But as stated, be aware that it's all beta even though the device was actually usable. Maybe 9.0(Pie) is closer to final by now but there are bugs.
G8342 Only
Not going in the G8341? Tested?
Right now it's just for the g8342 as I test it out. I might build a g8341 later.

I'll try posting a new clean build this afternoon.
Alright. I've built a new version from scratch, perhaps this one will work better since I did not make clean last time after G8342 build.

let me know how it goes @eggimong

But I'm glad this is still beta, bugs are getting squashed.

WOOOOO let's go boooys!!!
Can't believe my old tab will eventually celebrate it's tenth year being still fully functional!
@8224Freak is there any chance to port this ROM to SM-P605?
Edit: realised they have different CPU.
Exynos vs Snapdragon = no chance
Does this work with P601? (I know that if it works it wont have mobile data, but im only using wifi anyway)

I tried on my p601 and It's working without mobile data of course.
I would like to thank 8224Freak for bringing android 10 to our note 10.1
Thank you 8224Freak for this great ROM. I flashed it on my P600 (Lineage OS ROM as the crDroid ROM only showed a black screen after setup wizard). Until now I had several crashes of the stock browser and sometimes the device does reboot. It doesn't seem to use hardware acceleration as fullhd videos are stuttering.
Let me know if I can help you with some debug information.
I found a problem with the s-pen (Squid app) .. if I write with s- pen and my hand touches anywhere on the screen, Everything I am writing with s-pen will be removed.
FYI it was working on lineage 14.1, I think this rom is not fully compatible with s-pen.
Hi

I have already install this ROM, but, when I'm working with any application, my tablet restart suddenly. Is there anybody that happen the same to me?

Lineage is vanilla android and does not have as many features as crDroid. Some users like Lineage becouse it is more stable, and others like crDroid because it has a lot of tweaks.

I tried crDroid with Magisk and had random reboots. Now, trying Lineage.
I can't tell which recovery is compatible with SM-P600 -- n1awifi...

1st is pure lineage while 2nd has some additional features.
What's better depends on ones personal judgement.

This I've found :
Sometime during development, some Samsung devices were reassigned codenames, and lt03wifi was renamed to n1awifi (see commit here and developer note here).
No need to worry as these are still the same device, and the ROM itself has provision for the name change (it checks match for either codenames when installing).
Great roms thank you!
The only issue my wife had was with the Simcity Buildit game -- it just crashes under the lineage OS.
Weird, eh?
So I tried going back to lineage 14.1 and RR-5.8.5, but they both gave a black screen on startup.. no logo, despite all the wipes and formattings in twrp.. Upgrading to android 10 must have changed something.. Anyway, now trying the CRdroid version..which booted up just fine
Something interesting with crdroid, apps run for 30 seconds and then they go to the background as if someone has hit the home button! In chrome downloading something, and desktop appears.. tapping the tasks button shows chrome still running. did anyone notice this?

Can you point to the C.23 firmware that is a requirement for this ROM?
I don't see that in the list of available firmware for N200.

Are you gonna make more updates to the core version or are you gonna focus on the gapps version now? And what’s the difference because I have the core version but there’s still gapps that can be turned off is it the same way with the gapps version? Also can I just upgrade to the gapps version?
can you use the same method as lineage upgrade os method to sideload this from los 19.1?

No lineage 19.1 is based on Android 11 stock firmware. You have to upgrade your stock firmware to Android 12 before flashing this build.

GAPPS version is the only one I'm supporting now (it just has a few extra apps installed).
The "Core" version was using flags for minimal GAPPS functionality. Builds without GAPPS would have been labeled "Vanilla" if I would have made it. I figure there's no point in supporting GAPPS and gappsless builds when GAPPS is easily disabled within the ROM.

I'm running these builds TMO C.21 firmware. C.23 specifically is not required, though that is what the vendor blobs are based on.

Also, could you test to see if you have the same issue with LineageOS 20 or Pixel experience? Both of those are based on the same firmware.
I occasionally encounter this issue in recovery but haven't had it happen in the ROM

If anyone is prepared to do the legwork I have a firmware flashable zip with instal scritps from my op 7 pro which could be modified to flash the appropriate firmware to a n200...replace all the partition images, change the device checks etc. I'm not going to straight out attach it because I don't want anyone trying to patch an op 7 pro firmware file on their n200.
