If "Call & Text on other device" is not supported in my region, what to do?
Hello all,
the feature "Call & Test from other device" is not supported in my region (Egypt). what can i do.
I have Note 10+ and Galaxy TAB S6.
should i root and install different ROM? what best would it be?

Has anyone else tried to register a tab 10.1 on the uk samsung site?
I bought the samsung galaxy tab 10.1 16gb/white. I'm currently trying to
register the product on the uk site and I can't enter the model number
correctly.
The TAB has a sticker which has the model code as: GT-P7510
The TAB also has a model code printed on the case as: GT-P7510UW
The BOX LABEL says the model number is: GT-P7510UWYB
When I try and enter any of these into the uk onlne regsitration the
system pops up and says 'Failed to save'. If i select the 'Check model
code' I get a pop up box of about 20 different model codes all starting
'GT-P7510...' yet none of the ones I have are listed?
I called the support line and I was told that I should just enter
GT-P7510 and select the top item which comes up which is'GT-P7510/CM16'?
I assume this is to do with the whole apple injunction issue, but still, wtf? Anyone else had any luck with this? Or can actually tell me which is the correct model?
Installed CM12.1 with gapps 5.1 on my samsung galaxy s2 I9100 the sim and the provider are recognized, it's connected to the network, but the services are offline and appears "only emergency call". The IMIEI is right so I think /efs is not corrupted.
I tried the same sim in an other (stock) nexus s and it works as well
I can not enter the system after starting asks the sim pin and accepts it, then turns on the "emergency calls only" and does not pass away.
I can not therefore do anything because the menu can not go, I can do please

Hey,
Maybe you could try out some other ROMs as well just to make sure that it is a CM bug? You could try out Omni, DU, SlimLP, AOSPA, or BlissPOP. If it turns out that no ROM is detecting the signal, then your phone is locked to a certain carrier. We can easily unlock the phone, through various guides that are available in the Development Forums.
Try out this and reply as to where you progress.

After custom rom installation, "mobile network not available" message comes up
Hi guys!
So, after receiving a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, I decided to root it and install a custom rom.
The custom rom is the Ditto Note 4 rom for Note 2 from the electron team website.
Everything seemed to work fine after installation, that was before I put my SIM card in. After I put my SIM card in, I couldn't take a call. When I dialled someone, a message comes up and said: "mobile network not available". Does anyone know what's wrong?

Hi, I have a blacklisted (unfortunately) T-Mobile S5, and I was trying to enable Drparser mode to unlock it from Samsung Tools Pro, but whenever I use *#0808#, I get the "Mobile Network not available" error. Is there any way to bypass this?

This is my first post and will try and make it really quick.
I recently got a Galaxy Note 5 (because their just amazing) It came with Android 6.0.1 installed and the "Software Update" section of the settings menu does nothing. I mean literally nothing. I tap "About Device" then "Software Update" and nothing happens no new screen loads or anything.
so I was looking for the OEM ROM's and this is where I ran into so much confusion. The current details the phone gives me is.
Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920F (There are no F rom's)
Build Number MMB29K.N920FTMB4DPH2
Bootloader N920TUVS6ERH1
Which lead me to believe even though their is no "F" variant, That its a T-Mobile model (No Rom's really give 100% functionality to these except the standard 7.1 from T-Mobile)
So I went to Sammobile.com to download the latest official firmware released, But the the CSC numbers don't match my device. they are all starting N920TT***** and mine starts N920FT*****. However the PDA numbers match my bootloader. So will any Note 5 T-Mobile ROM work even if the CSC numbers are different? as long as the PDA numbers are the same?
I get more confusing info from Samsung as well. The "Samsung Members" app shows my Model number as : SM-N920TZKATMB (Which again has no "F" in it, The sticker on the back of the device with the IMEI even states it as SM-N920F)
Am I making this weirdly complicated for myself? Will the US T-Mobile ROM's for android 7.1 work find I flash them with this device? (I live in the UK and the device has 100% compatibility with my network)
Also will flashing the stock 7.1 US ROM from T-Mobile re-lock the SIM ? I'm pretty sure it doesn't/Cant relock SIM to T-Mobile only, But nothings better than a professional confirming.
There is also another issue. according to "Root Checker" I have a Rooted device. But their is no Super User apps on it at all (Cant seem to even find Binaries for SuperSU when using Root File Manager), Pokémon GO fails to load which I have read could be because of the "Root Check" throwing up a positive. But no other apps fail to work at all. their all perfect even banking never even so much as an error. it is just Pokémon GO. Or has someone previously messed up rooting so it looks like it is but the files are missing and isn't really? I tried using Magisk Manager but it did nothing and I don't get any prompts for Root access when installing apps.
