Anker USB C headset adapter for headset with Lightning plug - Moto Z3 Play Accessories

I bought it from local Target store ($30)
It works 100% with Apple Earpods Lightning version.
No headache, no modification. It just works 100%
Play and volume buttons work
Play: once - play/pause, twice - next, thrice - previous
Standby: long press and use Google Assistant
Somehow, music playing sounds better on Z3 Play than G7

HTC Touch HD + car radio with bluetooth

Hello everybody,
I'am looking for a new car radio with bluetooth for a bmw e46. It must support following features:
1. Bluetooth integrated in radio, no addional box and fit into bmw slot
2. hands-free set
3. Select and play (over radio) audio files from mobile phone SD card
4. Voice dial without prerecorded audio sample (in windows mobile) over car radio
Anybody a suggestion for a car radio that supports all that features ?
I don't know if it will support windows mobile phones, but supports ipod over bluetooth
Wireless connection with compatible devices provides hands-free calls, voice recognition dialing, audio streaming, and SMS message receipt notification. With AA-T100BT Bluetooth® transmitter, you can also stream music from your iPod.

Hi, if you want to keep you embeded radio system, you can add a module as ones devlopped by Parrot or IO.
I have the following system, working perfectly with my Touch HD

I have one of these

works a treat - audio can be played from SD card through manilla or wmp with no problems - you can even skip tracks using the stereo whilst tomtom is on your screen and everything performs great. Audio is paused when a call comes in and resumes when the call ends.
The only drawback for me is there is no visual feedback on the player such as track name or callers name etc... but dont know if this is even possible.
parrot mki9100 or mki 9200
check out these products. plenty of videos on youtube
and getting mine fitted today £177 includes kit, bmw lead (1series) and installation at my house.
great kit does averything you want and more. includes an amp to better the bmw system. has sd/ipod usb connectors plus bluetooth music streaming and obviously the phone kit
my advice connectmycar.co.uk
its a carphonewarehouse company. cheapest around
Motorola T505
I have T505 and its exelent for car, home, picnic etc.
stremeng music and calls to your car stereo(A2DP BT) via the built-in Digital FM transmitter.
And good thinks is location (long battery life 5-6 days) in car -microfon is near.
Hear the number of the person calling

look for pioneers car-stereo with inbedded bluetooth
I have just installed a pioneer FH-P80BT Double Din and its is the bees knees.
It will do all you ask but i have not quite figured out how to do the Voice activated Dialing yet. Not sure if it will work with MSVC.
It auto downloads your phone book and you can dial from the Stereo itself.
You can also connect a laptop hard drive as the USB supports true 5v line.

hey nogs,
got the same in my new shape passat
i'd be careful about recommending it for use with portable HDD's though 0 it couldnt give enough juice to power up my WD Passport - but have to agree its a great headunit to pair up with the touch HD.
I use it to charge my device - just remember to use activesync mode just for charging otherwise you can't use your memory card for things like tom tom.

I've got a JVC KD-BT22 + a JVC DAB unit + an external 300GB HD (you could use a USB key instead or it has line in)
The JVC unit starts playing music from my Touch HD as I get into the car although having an external USB hardisk full of around 30gb's of music means I don't really need it.
It also works as a hands free (voice via the speakers, etc) the voice quality isn't brilliant on the unit as it doesn't use an external mic although I've read of some tweaks to make it better.

Ah right.... I have read on the MkiV Golf Forum it gives enough Juice so i was only going from what others have said.... I will be trying myself next week. According to the guys there, it only supports upto 250Gb and needs to be formatted FAT32.
I'll be opting for the 160Gb version myself.
Also... have you managed to activate MSVC via the long press of the Esc--Band button ?
PS- schranzistor - sorry to hijack this thread.

ah! I don't think my drive was formatted to FAT32 (probably NTFS) which is why it didn't pick it up- dunno to be honest as I wasnt really that bothered having my HD with all its music on Also I had swapped out my internal 250GB WD drive with my PS3's standard 40Gb drive - maybe why it was supping a bit more juice than a standard WD one....
It was however making the infamous clicking sound you get when a drive doesnt have enough power to it - I might try it again later at some point when I have more than 2Gb of stuff I need access to in my car
I'm sure I tried that MSVC thing with Duttys 1.7 ROM a while back and it didnt work - I've got his 2.1 Xtreme ROM now so will give it another try tommorow morning.
It's a great headunit but I find it a bit plasticy for my liking (my fault for selling my Pioneer reference system I suppose!) - Button presses feel cheap and that front screen attracts dust quicker than my PC at home!

How did you connect KD-BT22 with external HDD?

I have a Parrot i200 and it's brilliant.

[Q] Sync HD2 with car so can press previous/next on the radio to change songs?

Can it be done?
When I connect via aux cable with my car nothing happens when I press previous/next on the car radio.
Thanks
Probably bc the standard 3.5mm headphone jack is only for transmitting audio, not to control anything.
This should be possible if you have a radio with USB input for flash drives or ipods but not over an aux cable. Perhaps you could try to find an aux cable with the track forward/reverse built in to the cable? I know I've seen headphones with it but not sure about the cable alone..
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
I had an aux in fitted in my car and was told the next/previous would work. When it didnt they said it would only work on a ipod. Interesting comment about the cable - anyone able to confirm whether the headphones lead is different?
To be honest, with the swipe action on the music player, this doesnt really bother me as its easy to do this whilst driving. However, I'd like to switch to another music app given the random function doesnt work properly....
I definitely know where youre coming from, I've always used an ipod for music, but want to use my mt4g now (or try to).
I messed around today and here's what I've came up with:
with the aux cable (standard 3.5mm headphone cable) you only have control of the tracks on the device, not with the radio's controls. you might be able to find cable with seek buttons built in (like some headphones) to make it easier but I've never actually seen one.
If your radio has a usb input on it you can connect your phone via usb, mount the sd card (as if using mass storage on a comp) and your radio should detect and read it as a flash drive. going this route your phone will charge, but you'll ONLY be able to control tracks from the radio head unit and you wont be able to listen to Slacker Radio or Pandora or other similar apps via usb. another plus is that the processing is done by the headunit, thus you could use your headunits random function.
The last option (that I think is king) is if you have a bluetooth enabled headunit, the HD2 can stream audio over bluetooth (a2dp) to your radio. You could then pair and stream music, Slacker, Pandora, etc and maintain control on the device (I would prefer control on device and radio, but i dont see this happening) wirelessly. One huge plus to me is that you can charge it while keeping fully functionality with only one cable.
I cant find a cable with anything other than volume controls, but I wonder if either of these options would help

I've been using a BT Venturi Mini for about a year now and it works perfect. You can change streamed track/ stop start and it has no wires. So no mess, best investment ever. Plus, you can pick up calls/ voicemail via car stereo too.
Sound quality excellent, especially when you increase BT pool bitrate via HD2 tweak.
Perhaps if someone modded the headphones that come with the HD2 so that they go from 3.5 to 3.5 with the controls in the middle of the wire to use ?

HELP: S Voice car dock sound problem.

I have the infuse 4G car dock and it works perfect. you plug the auxiliary cord into the dock and the charger too then you connect the dock. is there any way to not make s voice pop up when you connect the dock. also is the a way to make s voice play through the phones speakers, but onlys voice with that setting, so I could say "play music" and it would play back from the car.
Thanks

Bluetooth remote

I've hunted through the forums and on Google for an answer but I'm drawing blanks!
What I'd like is a remote to control my phone whilst listening to music. More specifically whilst in the car.
I find it quite fiddly to double tap the screen and then skip tracks whilst driving.
Is there a solution?

One solution is to use tasker to disable screen turnoff while connected to your car bluetooth and charging (assuming you have a car charger). Then use something like Unity Music Media Keys (universal control widget that you can supersize, works with pretty much every major music service) for easy skipping.
Or they make aux cables (if you are not using bluetooth) that basically add android remote (volume and skip) functionality and then have a female end (so you can plug into your car normally).

[Q] Force USB audio

First I will explain my set-up:
- Galaxy S 3 Intl. with CM11 snapshot
- USB Audio Patcher (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48966264&postcount=334)
- Fiio E07K with a USB OTG cable
Now I use this for my music (I use Poweramp as music player). Unfortunately, I can not really use this on-the-go because if the USB connector moves around, Poweramp (or android itself?) thinks the DAC disconnected and stops playing music (and if I press play, it will play it through the speakers if I don't reconnect the DAC).
The DAC itself isn't actually disconnected though. I am wondering if I can force music to always play through USB, regardless if Android thinks the cable is attached or not.
I also seem to have a problem where sometimes it makes crackling noises. Could this be because of an unstable connection too? Most of the time, when I reconnect the cable it's fine again.
