There are many guides that can be found through Google. There is no one guide that will tell you exactly how to do it, you must learn by reading through multiple guides, and trying things out. That is as much as I will say here.

Got the encryption option in settings now...whatsapp bugs are also fixed...sd card encryption is still missing..hope battery lfe gets better....more to explore

I would like to test the MiuiPro Rom on my Redmi5.
I have already installed several versions.
They run quite well, but I want to use the Nova Launcher, as soon as I install this is nothing more.
The screen flickers and is beyond help.

Not alot of developer support, security patches gets more sophisticated, however we've just got treble so maybe we'll get an official update after pie is all set and ready, ashyx twrp works really well, have you tried that?
