Error 255 is from Parallel Apps or Dual Apps. TWRP doesn't support multiple user profiles (please correct me if i'm wrong) . If you don't use Dual apps backup and restore works just fine.

I don't use Dual Apps nor Parallel apps. Never used.
Error 255 is when the data partition is encrypted so it can't access (or when the backup has a bug)

Then how come i had that error when trying to make backups, but when i removed second space i didn't have the error anymore?

Error 255 is a wide brand of errors, all it mean is that it can't read the backup files.
Sure for your case (and many) it was about the second space.
But it also is for a number of other reasons that has nothing to do with it.

Try to theme the recovery.

Been using it for like 2-3 hours, working pretty solid till now without encountering any bug. Battery is a little off compared to xiaomi.eu but I guess maybe because it is the first charge cycle. I haven't done any gaming yet,so not sure about the heating situation. Camera also works fine.
so in short,Yes it is usable as a daily driver.

That's for phones that support bokeh mode by default.
Installed last night, all went smooth. The performance is stellar and every is working fine. Only issue I had was that somehow my TWRP recovery was overwritten by Xiaomi recovery.
Oh btw you don't need any Google installer APK you can just download the installer from the included Mi app store.
I will test out the rom today but I think I will restore my Lineage backup till the EU version is out....... the rom is great but there is way to much Chinese bloatware [emoji6]

That is what official MIUI does ...
Always have a backup of your stuff not in the phone.
I do not use the official twrp, I use this https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-note-2/development/twrpscorpio3-2-1-1tools-6blue-t3798956
So that there are no problems if you are in MIUI make a backup and before putting the rom deactivate from the mobile the device search and the account of xiaomi
once done reboot in twrp and make full wipes internal memory included and format data (if it gives montage error restart twrp again and perform again full wipes and format data) restart in twrp again and install, should not give you any problem with encryption
I do it like that and have never given me problems
and I do not overwrite the twrp either

Yeh might be but i never installed official MIUI ROMs before this one. Anyway took me 30 sec to hook up ADB and then Fastboot flash TWRP back. I rooted with Magisk and now all is perfect might even stay on this if i can tweak a few things to my liking.

Encrypted internal storage .

Hey guys , recently I flashed red wolf recovery with miui 10 8.8.2 global beta on my redmi note 5 + . After booting in recovery I found data partition is encrypted so as usual I reset the phone . Everything looks good , storage got mounted .I boot into os then into recovery again my internal storage got encrypted gain , I cannot mount data .It's asking for password , which I don't know . I tried every possible thing nothing working , it's getting forced encrypted everytime I boot into os . That's the case with global beta rom , I am not getting any problem in global stable rom .Is there any way so I can mount storage or I have to go back to stable rom .

[ROM]Flash miui 10 running on android Q working well

Hello there,
I found and flashed miui 10 ROM running on Android version 10 on https://mi-globe.com/rom-builder-features/?id=19&codename=raphael&phone=Mi+9T+Pro
The ROM :fingers-crossed: is working fine even after uninstalling core or system apps there is no problem at all, :laugh:not any kind of ads or miui apps notification, completely boltware free with pre modification features as for users need.
Also, mi-globe.com provide weekly updates.
Just want to know this source of k20pro reliable??? Till now, am satisfied with their miui 9.8.12 running on Android Q without ads, boltware, notifications and mods too.
Please, let me know your thoughts guys

Yes it works fine with most of the apps. In my case, it's not worked on WhatsApp or Gmail with Facebook or Snapchat and other apps like Flipkart, olx, paytm, maps, antutu benchmark, system apps remover it works fine so global dark mode mostly work perfectly without issue.
Twrp encrypted or decrypted??? Don't know how know about encrypted or decrypted twrp and not get ur point clearly but Am on OrangeFox recovery it works fine before installing and after installing the ROM no issue till now. Also, please explain about twrp encrypted & decrypted simply.

Decrypted bro, I I have access into phone's internal storage, no issue at all. Using OrangeFox recovery for K20PRO :good:
i have beta 9.8.8 from china not xiaomi.eu or mi globe and everything works fine in android Q, sometimes after a night i get deepsleep issue but a restart fixes it (i think it happens when i leave battery saver for the night) camera has some new features, night photos are much better and bluethooth works great. the only problem i've encountered was the deepsleep sometimes and 1 app that doesn't work (a portuguese bank app).
