How to boot directly into TWRP - Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Questions & Answers

I unlocked the tablet and installed successfully TWRP on my Xiaomi Mi Pad 4.
But when I reboot it with volume down and power it always goes into smartboot.
Only way to go to TWRP is from console Fastboot boot twrp.img, but it does not always work
How can i boot directly into TWRP ?
Thanks.

You press the wrong key. To access recovery, you must hold Volume up + Power.

[Q] Stuck and Can Only Boot Into TWRP

So I have TWRP on but it was mistakenly the T-Mobile version TWRP so the touch screen doesn't work and I can't hold down Vol Up+Home+Power to go to Odin. And if I hold Vol Dow+Home+Power and release right when it turns off, it just will boot back into recovery! Is there a way to reboot into download mode or anything on the main screen of TWRP? ADB? Anything? So now I'm in recovery and I tested Fastboot and ADB to see if anything would work. I got ADB to work, BUT here's the catch. The device is "Offline." Check image below....

Device not goes to recovery/fastboot

Today i had flashed latest china dev fastboot ROM in Redmi Note 3 SD.
After succesfull flashed i had flashed TWRP 3.0.2-2
Then wiped all & flashed RR N.
Whenever i tap reboot to recovery or reboot to fastboot from power menu, Device starts normally not in recovery or fastboot.
Tried 3-4 times by flashing TWRP via fastboot mode but every time whenever i want to go recovery or fastboot i must have to press vol+ & power or vol- & power simultaniously.
Any Solution...?
Power key + volume up for recovery mode.
Power key + volume down for fastboot mode.
Edit: Sorry, I misread the question. I think it is a ROM problem.

How to enter TWRP on LeEco Le Max 2?

I just installed TWRP, but i don't know how to enter. Power button and volume up brings me to EUI recovery and power button and volume down brings me into bootloader. Maybe a noob question but hey, you've gotta start somewhere.
Thanks for the help
Happened to me too. Did you tick OEM unlocking in developer options? If not, fastboot command will flash twrp with no errors but result is VOL up + power brings you to stock recovery.

You can boot into twrp without flashing it, "adb reboot bootloader" and then "fastboot boot twrp.img" if you have the right twrp recovery image.
Just install the twrp app from store and use it to boot into recovery.

Recovery Mode when unlocked

I can not boot into recovery mode on my unlocked S7 since I need top press power to get past the warning, but that only works if no other button is pressed, and I then boot to the system not recovery. I've watched multiple youtube videos and read up nothing seems to work as you need to hold Power and Vol+, yet you can not do this with an unlocked boot loader.
ERIC
You need to hold it through that warning.. so soon as screen goes black press and hold power and vol+ until you see recovery screen.. or u can use adb reboot recovery or if rooted theres apps that can reboot to recovery or even from magisk manager
