Are there any Information when the GPE will receive the Lollipop Update?
Since Sony is closely to release Lollipop for the Z-Line, it shouldn't be that far away...

What you posted is the only information I have seen so far. Sony has been quiet on any further details.

Google Play edition devices
Updates to Google Play edition devices are managed by the device manufacturers, not by Google. Edit....I take the part about two weeks to refer to a staged rollout, and not two weeks from Googles release of the OS.
So what does that put the ETA at? 2 weeks from Nov 11 (n5 release) would put it today....

Yeah it would. I was hoping Sony would get this update out fast, but it doesn't look that way. The only play edition devices that have said much about their lollipop updates is htc. I'm assuming they will have submitted it to google any day now and get it out. I'm curious how fast after new android versions has the xperia z ultra gotten them?
Sony is starting to amuse me. Motorola already released an update, Nvidia also, HTC is very nearly there, and now I read that there is even a leak for Galaxy S5. Our GPe device still got nothing. Prompt updates? Yeah, right... They even didn't give us any info on update status.
And I thought Samsung took forever with updates...I mean atleast the GPE device Sony...why you so cruel?

They really should at least give some update on it. Even if they just said itll be out in a few days I'd be happy.

We Indian Honor 10 View users have a question to you, "Are we going to get updates for our phones or not?"
And personally saying, it's the first time I'm using Honor device and I'm quite happy with its performance.
I've used a lot of devices and have been active on many of the forums contributing to their respective development programmes.
But here, I'm kinda pissed seeing the threads that are only for the BKL-L04!
AREN'T WE BKL-L09 USERS HAVING THE SAME SPECS AS THEM?
We need an answer to this since you're their representative.
It's a humble request sir, we too want to see stable ROMS on this Indian variant!
PS : this isn't personal frustration or some kind of offence posting this thing! I'm just curious, that's all it is.

I am unsure of what could be the reason of releasing such a premium device at the tag of 'flagship killer' if they're not even gonna release updates for us.

We're going to get some updates such as gpu turbo and emui 8.1 for the BKL-L09 but we have to wait. September for the turbo and a little more for android upgrade

Next update is for L-09 is fixed for Sept...
The one with turbo gpu ..
They have already confirmed Indian varient will get EIS so its just patience from us that's required
Patient since Dec 2017, and waiting.

I can understand fully why you would be frustrated. Unfortunately, I don't have info regarding update timelines for various regions. I only have info about the US.
You can maybe reach out on Twitter if you haven't already.
Already done that, no reply so far and furthermore I don't know who is the representative for Honor India.

Right now it seems to be only for the US tho. Saw a post on reddit where someone got an email for US beta testing.
Sadly ztemobile.de is still redirecting to the chinese site. I really hope the site comes back. Or that at least the G model gets back on track too to receive oreo.

That's just Android 8 with Mifavor5.2 for Chinese users. Nothing new here since you have the Chinese version phone.

I also check for the German page to come back online. If we do get Oreo for the G it will most likely come from there. I'm hoping that page is down because there will be some changes to it

It's newer than the B12/B01 beta ROMs we have now though. B12/B01 are from last year I think... LOL so March is actly pretty great

I'm guessing (maybe hoping) that that screenshot is unrelated. Surely they can't be releasing only a V8 update and not v8.1.
Seems like ZTE could so with some cross region collaboration with releasing updates. It's a bad practice not to make updates world wide.
I know there may be small differences, especially with modems but still..

I'm sure that patch was left somewhere in the update servers and since they're back online now, people received it.
I'ts not new per se because it's from March, so clearly they didn't release new stuff yet (also don't know if they started to work on the update or not). However, I have my doubts about 8.1... hopefully it's 8.1 and not 8.0., but we will see.

You probably right.
I received an email from ZTE a few days ago that read new Oreo build ready for testing. Has a survey for you to fill out. I contacted the person and was told , build is wrapping up inner testing and will be pushed to beta testers soon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The build is the last before final release.

Samsung in uk seem confused and keep changing the months there are 2 tab s3 on the list but I'm sure there is only one model.

As far as I know, there is not. I keep looking at the major Android/Samsung sites and keep peaking at my Samsung Members every once in a while.
Nope, not yet - S9+ user here. I also following everywhere for news about the beta program, ofc I won't get it first but I want to be informed. I think it will start soon. Maybe even this month?
Verizon usually doesn't let people on their network sign up for the betas in my experience. I was going to sign up last year but it wasn't an option for my S9+ on VZW. You can load the beta builds with odin though if someone posts the firmware online. I will probably skip the first couple of builds and flash when they get most of the bugs squashed later in the beta cycle.

Open Samsung Members, scroll a bit down and there should be a section named "News and Tips", click on the Image talking about Android 10, it will bring you to a page where you can enroll in the beta program. Wait a while and check for updates.
Ps: of course you need to be on a German operator to do that

I've registered few hours ago, so I think yes, also for me the news was not appearing yesterday. Try to force close and reopen Samsung Members (more than once maybe )
