Unable To find realme XT SAR values for Europe please - Realme XT Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
I am about to buy REALME XT (or 5 Pro) depending on many things and my first criteria is the SAR value.
And I read that the realme is trying not to give such number correctly.
I was wondering if any of you happen to find the "real" SAR value for XT (as well as 5 pro) for Europe please
Do you also know any European Authority site also lists official sar values of the mobile phone please?

one question away from buying . . .

Hey Guys,
i`ve checked the web and didn`t come up with an answer yet. What are the SAR numbers ( a.k.a.:Specific Absorption Rate) for this device.
I use my phone a lot and i`m a little bit concernd because in the past xiaomi devices had pretty high numbers.
Can anyone help me out please!
Thx a lot!
The SAR (specific absorption rate) value of the Redmi Note 2 is 0.602 W/Kg in head and 0.731 W/Kg in body, which is a little bit higher than the previous Redmi Note but it is well within the limits of every country regulation. Not sure if those numbers are true but only thing i found.

questions related local variant

hey every one , i got my device two weeks ago , i bought it in egypt and sells as huawei GR5. no honor branding on box or the back of the device . i assumed at first that both devices are identical and the only difference is branding name .
but i noticed on multiple occasion that the device is strangely slow specially compared to youtube videos and benchmarks . and its number is kII-l21 not kw-l21 . also the cpu doesn't seem to be 616 .
so i was wondering if this device would receive marshmallow update ? can i use custom roms in the future that is devolped for US devices ?
Here in my country, we have two seperate phones, one going as honor 5x and other gr5, so they're both definitely different...
Also that antutu is less than typical 5x which gets around 38k

I live in Pakistan.... And i also was baffled by the choice between gr5 and 5x.... I made the choice based on the model number on the back of the box... I knew i should go for kiw L21....
Sent from my KIW-L21 using Tapatalk
I just looked at the GR5 in Huawei store in fortune town bangkok, it has the 616 chipset as confirmed by staff & on device spec details, looks pretty much same besides some radio frequency difference, solid device for 8,150Baht (lowest price I found) but 8,450 is more common pricing. Camera seemed ok from testing in shop, it had 5.1.1 android so had an update which may have some huawei software optimisation !
Fingerprint sensor is very good & also enables easy opening & closing of notifications when unlocked & control panel when on lock screen which useful idea, has double tap to wake too .
Bought gr5 (KII-L21) on 13 march ( just 5 days for now) by trusting gsmarena, now confused if this won't compatible with developments for 5X (KIW series)
Can anyone please confirm will it be compatible or not?
And
Where can I find the actual deferences between the two models?
I doubt kiw developments will be direct compatible, some tweaks may be but roms etc will need tweaking for kii. kiw certainly going be better unofficial supported device ...

i would say... depends.
what do you value in the phone? what do you like or don't like?
i'm not a fan of curved edges, so, if it's between Honor9 and S7edge, my choice is obvious -- Honor9.
processor and storage wise, i believe honor9 is the better one too.

Hi
I mean no offense to any providers, but I seriously think that fancy phones are a waste of money.
Still, if you wanna go and get one, I would recommend the S7 as the robustness, look and feel and the service the phone is offered by the company.
If you want more features and power, Honor 9 is the way to go!

Chinese version
Hi,
I bought the honor 9 in a preorder sale.
But now I have some concerns regarding the version. it is a Chinese multi-language ROM, I use Hebrew and English fonts, should I encounters any problems? how does a Chinese version affect me?
Is there a way to change ROM?
Is it rooted?
Thanks in advanced.

Hey guys n00b question: what kind of roms are currently available for the honor 9, and how easy is to root/unlock bootloader? Following that question to potential Pokemon players, does root permissions block use of the game and android pay?
Thanks
Side note the Honor 9 has different models, China, Europe, US, India to ne a few. Now to get the full radio band for your network provider you need to check it support your network provider if your get the device from outside of you regional zone.
If the Honor 9 radio bands are set up like the Honor 8s well your going to have difficulty depending on network provider.
Best thing to do if buying from say China is to make sure you buy one that fully work back in your country..
What kind of storage does the honor 9 use? I can't find any information on it. Was hoping for UFS obviously but considering it isn't mentioned anywhere I presume it's emmc 5.1

Request - I need someone to test one application on Poco F1

Hello,
I have one little request for you. I plan to buy a new Pocophone F1 International, but I need to test one app before I buy it.
I'd love to find someone with root and be willing to install this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qtrun.QuickTest
It would be great if the user have some basics of mobile networks. But it's not a condition.
After installing the given application, I need to do screenshots or video (application AZ Screen Recorder) of the whole application environment. This means what the user can see (swipe left/right), Menu, Settings, etc. This application requires Qualcomm processor and root. Unfortunately, I don't have any of it, so I can't test it before buying.
If at least a bit familiar with mobile networks, I would need to know if this mobile supports MIMO 4x4 on basic bands like B1, B3, B7 and B20. Furthermore, e.g. whether it is possible to lock on cells, PCI and the like.
Thank you very much.
Hope this helps.

This video was from regular "customer". I can see that app is working normally, but I need to find more.
Now, it will be great to have someone who has some background in mobile networks and test 4x4 MIMO and 4x4 MIMO CA. Because I read that Poco F1 in EU is acting like LTE Cat. 4 or 5 and not like Cat 16/18 as it is written in the specifications.
Can you point us what you want to know ..so that we can re record that portion of app

Look, Poco F1 is rated as LTE-A (4CA) Cat16. This means that it should meet certain conditions. Unfortunately, there are no detail specifications for this mobile phone on the internet.
So I need to test this "situations":
1) You need to find base station which supports carrier aggregation (CA), at least 2 CA and make screenshots/video in that app. The mobile should support up to 4 CAs, but I doubt it very much and I don't know if you can find such a base station.
2) You need to find base station which supports 4x4 MIMO on LTE band (make screenshot/video) and next thing is 4x4 MIMO with CA.
This are two main thing I need to know.
Since Xiaomi does not pay Qualcomm all fees, it is clear that all features will not work. My goal is to find out which ones work and which don't. So far I have found on XDA that Poco F1 in EU is acting like device LTE Cat 4 or 5 and that is a very big degradation from what Xiaomi presents.

Possible future updates for Mi9

Hello,
I'm in need of some information about future updates for the Mi9.
In General, i know, that some firmwares or kernels can be ported, if the sources between the two devices are almost same.
So, maybe anyone else see, that our 855 is a slightly underclocked 860, but almost everything else is the same. This means, we could use the Poco X3 Pro sources or the firmwares. Maybe Android 12, but who knows it now.
What you think about that?

I like the idea. Mi 9 is not much supported from modding-community actually.

No, our 855 is the only thing "the same" with POCO X3 Pro, everything else is different. The fingerprint, the camera, the display, the speaker, all of them are different and they all require their own drivers, which doesn't exist in X3 Pro source code. Sure anyone with enough knowledge can try mix and match by backporting only the relevant parts, just...who would that be?
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 10c in Nigeria for now but will roll out to other regions soon. This article contains Xiaomi Redmi 10c specifications and its price.
