I want to turn off my proximity sensor completely on my asus Zenfone max m2 without root. Please help

I would like some help if possible. My z ultra c6802 4.4.4 (108 I think) has a broken proximity sensor, that is, doesn't turn off during a call when having it on my ear. Tried: a)downgrade to 4.2.2 and recalibreating it (passed with green but no fix),b) repair through PC companion(no luck either). Any ideas from your experience before I give it to Sony(the phone is new and out of the box but passed DOA) for repair, although I am afraid to do so as I requested a unlock code from them (Sony)and this brings me to a rather nasty spot although its obvious I got it like this ,just haven't noticed it in time for DOA. Xperia z2 LCD is quite sensitive even if i don't touch anything, LCD is quite sensitive or i can say very responsive any help or solution this is quite annoying anyone else having same issue?
fone is unrooted and bootloader is lock any help please

Clarify me about something that is atrophying my mind. Does the proximity sensor exist on this equipment? What I want to say is this: when I am reading something on my cell phone, and when I'm not having any interaction with my cell phone (because I'm just reading), and how I have configured the settings to turn off the screen in 15 seconds. My question here is ... just because I'm in front of the mobile phone or just waving to the screen does not turn off (something I did in my Moto X 2014) why does it turn off? Should not it stay on because of the proximity sensor? I was using ROM Lineage 15.1 and I thought there was something wrong with this ROM in the proximity sensor, but I went back to the ROM stock and I noticed that I still have this problem. I was thinking that either this phone has no proximity sensor or it is simply broken. I bought this cell phone a week ago. Please help me solve this issue of the sensor.

Recently I rooted my Asus Max Pro M1 and flashed Pixel experience rom in it .but now it turns off automatically when left idle for some time randomly specially at night .If anyone knows how to solve this problem do help me I will be great full.thanks in advance.

Right now I am having an issue with my proximity sensor
Its not working properly..
Whenever I call someone my screen turns black.. No. Matter whatever i do it stays black...
Then i have to force restart my phone to cut the call..
Kindly help regarding this issue..
Tried each and every thing, changed glass protector, cleaning and tried different apps.. I did everything I could do..

I think some issues are there in the new updates itself.. i am also using the redmi note 8 pro and my proximity sensor also has some problem, however i don't have to force restart my phone. The thing with my phone is.. my proximity sensor does not work properly.... i believe the screen should be off when i am talking in the phone with the phone on my ear.
