I don't think that the fastboot files are available for that yet. You should wait for the global variant and flash it via fastboot (you need the fastboot ROM if your bootloader in unlocked).

ROOT and ROMs support?

Hello there.
I'm thinking about buying this phone, but I'd like to know:
1. Is it possible to root the phone? I haven't found any info on xda, but there is something here --> http://en.miui.com/thread-215325-1-1.html Can someone confirm that it works?
2. What about ROMs? I see that most of the Xiaomi devices have some (mi3/4 even have official CM support), here the section is empty. Is it not possible to develop ROMs for this device, or is it just a matter of time?
3. Is the bootloader locked?

Built-in direct root access in a multilingual Vietnamese firmware Rom_Ti_ngVi_t_Xiaomi-Redmi3_MobileCity_v1a_Full_Unbrick . The firmware is flashing by MiFlash (it's in the zip), with locked bootloader. Su by Chainfire, with the SuperSU.
Is there a confirmed information that they are planning to release unlock tool (like they did for Mi4 --> http://en.miui.com/thread-202290-1-1.html)?

Yes. This firmware saves me when the system is on my phone falls in the experiments. How to flash is here to see (only drivers easier are put, without such problems).
Or you can put the firmware via adb-interface. So I put my localized and tweaked version.
With unlocked bootloader yet like no one - Xiaomi needs to receive the approval to unlock. A request for this here (Xiaomi account needs).
Hi Guys, anybody succeeded in rooting v7.2.4.0?, i also need to know if there is a way to make google play as default app store
Think we'll need the global rom with no Chinese app store installed for Google to be a default.
Think either miui or xiaomi.eu sites there is a rooted latest version.... Not sure though

Please don't delete the xiaomi play store. It will send your phone into a boot loop. Read the Xiaomi.eu threads before doing anything.

Built-in updater should probably work, try it out, it will tell you if it doesn't.
It didn't work, I got the following error message:

I cant get it to install, guess i will have to wait the 360 hrs. Thanks anyway
Tried many different methods but they are all showing that the global rom is not an official rom, unless i am doing something wrong....

I have an unlocked bootloader and the Chinese version, I tried flashing the global firmware using TWRP that I installed temporarily ( I wanted to keep the original recovery so I can lock the bootloader later on), I ended up with soft bricked phone, the phone booted to the main Welcome screen of which I can select a preferred language and region, there were tons of languages but only one region (China) and once selected, I started getting error message "Find devices closed unexpected" and the phone kept rebooting. I had to reinstall TWRP and sideload the Chinese firmware from my PC through ADB sideload to get my phone working again.
Exactly what I was afraid of. I hope official gets released soon via OTA. By the way, can we OTA from China to Global?

Hi guys, yesterday my phone was updated from version 9.5.1.0 to 9.5.13.0 on the air. Seems like it is offisial global ROM, if anybody want to get it, here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-z4U9AVwnfO_DjogNsXhminp2d6hgJzz/view Note: to install that ROM you have to unlock bootloader.

For Those Who Didn't Receive MIUI 12 Yet, Here's How To Get It NOW (EU GLOBAL!)

I just bought my XIAOMI NOTE 10 one week ago and I was so eager to get MIUI 12, but I had to wait since I was on EU GLOBAL ROM. I couldn't flash Masik Rom since I had to wait 7 days because of the timer on the bootloader unlock tool. Anyways, after some researches; I can confirm, this method works WITHOUT UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER. And I'm on MIUI 12 right now.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
- Make BACKUP since all data will be lost.
- On your phone, make sure you turn on USB DEBUGGING in DEVELOPER OPTIONS.
- Download Xiaomitool v2 and follow the steps to detect your phone and connect it.
- Choose Miui Official Roms (YOU DON'T NEED TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER) then CHOOSE GLOBAL if you are coming from EU GLOBAL.
- Wait for the procedure to end, don't rely on the data shown, since it will show crazy numbers lol. You'll know when the installation ends, it will be obvious.
- Once your phone successfully boots and you complete setting it up, head to SETTINGS/ UPDATE/ click on MIUI logo until you unlock additional options.
- From the menu choose CHOOSE UPDATE PACKAGE, and select this file after downloading it: https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.1.0.QFDMIXM/miui_TUCANAGlobal_V12.0.1.0.QFDMIXM_1dec6077cd_10.0.zip (THIS IS THE GLOBAL MIUI 12)
- Accept, wait... enjoy MIUI 12. :good:

I think you mean a locked bootloader. If the ROM, you will flash, is official it should be possible. I don't know why the change from Global to EU is not possible with a locked bootloader.

Yes, I'm asking all the time over flash GLOBAL ROM over EEA ROM without previously unlock the bootloader.
Really is strange, due to the main funcion of the bootloader is to prevent a not specific ROM is flashed.
This is strange also due to you can't flash GLOBAL over EEA in recovery mode. Why is that possible in fastboot mode is a mistery...

Realme 7 RMX2155 Bootloader Unlock Or Roll-Back?

Hello there.
I am aware that - at the moment - the global version of this phone cannot be unlocked. I'd just like to know when - if ever - the bootloader will be able to be unlocked, and if I can still roll-back to earlier versions of Android with SP Flash Tools (I really don't like how restrictive Android 11 is. Shame on Google.).
Thanks.

What are you asking exactly? If you are asking if the apk method of boot-loader unlocking works for this model: It does not. I am not exactly sure why, though.
I have the same model.
No bootloder unlock.
Tryed different region, flashed different ROM model. No luck.
Rollback a11 to a10 work with this update from recovery.
