You must flash the persist partition with twrp. You can find a tutorial at the 4pda site

I am having the same problem.. any solution??
Thanks in Advanced..

I read on a latin facebook page, that you need to install some rom, the majority agrees with miui 11 to start it, to activate the usb depuration and to install the global and european stock android one 9.0 rom and that the problem is corrected, i do not correct why the process has to be that.

Flash any custom rom (PE in my case), then flash stock rom again....

I still can't get the sensors to work. Tried flashing PE 10 through twrp then mi flash Android 9 via fastboot. Still no working sensors for my Android 9. pls post detailed guide on how you were able to downgrade to stock pie.

So basically, i updated to stock android 10, realised it was a mistake, flashed stock 9 via fastboot, lost sensors, installed orangefox rexovery and flashed latest PE, while in PE i tested the sensors and they were fully working, flashed stock 9 via fastboot again and everything is fine now. That was it.

Every time The same story. Before the update every user want it like a question of life or death. After ask how to downgrade. LoL

Strange, i've used the method twice now with success. Are you using the official march fastboot rom from xiaomi and the latest platform tools?

You guys are missing an important step; for the downgrade to be successfully done, you must come from a custom Android 10 ROM for Pie vendor, as such only the official PX is eligible, not the unofficial by nullby, because the latter uses Stock 10 firmware, vendor included.
I suspect it's because dtbo.img, since it carries hardware information to the Linux Kernel, thus the sensors would be targeted.
You can use any custom ROM that matches the requirements, as such the EvolutionX by chaplindev; but I do recommend to use PX Official build, just because that's what I used to recover my sensors back; download is available here.

That's the one i used both times and successfully restored the sensors..

Solved
Just Download laurel_sprout_global_images_V10.3.4.0 This Rom and Flash .....I think everything will work fine.
When i tried others like v10.3.16.0... Also facing same issue.

What process did you go through? I'm interested in MIUI8/root/GAPPS.
As for MIUI8 it seems that the only available version is the China Dev one. It comes bundled with a ton of useless chinese apps, no root, no gapps.

Mine hv previous china dev rom installed (miui7 6.5.26) before, and i was download miui8 from official site and flash it manually via updater (choose update package). No data loss or relocked BL after (even all my games still there)
Gapps using google apps installer.apk frm mi market.
Root: just tap root permission in security apk and it will download (i assume its miui root file or something) and device will rebooting by it self after. Done.
Ps: i have no superSU installed.

Thanks for the answer. What I did, is flash it from the TWRP. I must have missed that I can go from 7 to 8 from within the OS. Now I'm back to 6.5.2.6 so it's good to know. I'll update soon.

Fingerprint sensor stopped working after unbricking my XT1650-03.

I suffered from a hardbrick when locking my bootloader. managed to install the Stock firmware with December 2017 updates. (Software channel retca) phone finally came alive after 3 days working on it but the fingerprint scanner seemed to have disappeared. Any ideas why and how to fix it?
i have the same problem too! i've tried to install stock and custom rom but still, no luck . If anyone here know how to make the fingerprint scanner works again, kudos to you!
I managed to do the bootloader lock again, however, then I ran out of operator, but I unlocked the bootloader and installed a custom rom and everything is functional.

@erfanoabdi do you know any solution for our problem?
Did anyone find a solution yet?
I was finding out that several MOTO G4 PLUS users had the same problem, because it is an error in the HW partition error that was solved thanks to a user who uploaded a copy of his partition without errors, sorry for my English and for not knowing much of the subject, I feel that based on this we can solve our lack of fingerprint sensor since several users of moto z have the same problem.
I attach the link, the important information goes from page 10 onwards, in the YouTube video you see how the own partition is arranged based on the partition without errors uploaded by the user
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...luss-model-changed-to-g4-lost-t3496912/page10
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2Pao6lnINg
I trust that one of you will help us with the copy of the hw partition which can be done with partitions backup & restore apk

[RESOURCES] Device tree for redme note 8 pro

Hello everyone,
I've made an initial device tree for this device. This tree is highly experimental and the system image resulting from this tree is not guaranteed to boot.
you can find the device tree here ==> https://github.com/Lehkeda/android_device_xiaomi_begonia
you will find a branch for lineage 16 and TWRP version 3.3.1-0
the kernel in this tree is from the global rom V10.4.2.0.PGGMIXM https://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.4.2.0...XM_20191024.0000.00_9.0_global_270117fdb2.tgz
For now, I've managed to build the boot image and TWRP recovery(I need testers for the recovery).
you can find the recovery here ==> https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261622208.
flash it at your own risk!!! but before flashing it, make sure you know what you're doing and make sure you know how to restore original recovery if this one doesn't work. to flash it, decompress it then flash it using fastboot.
Any pull requests are more than welcome so feel free to make any pull request or send me your changes!

just to understand also why for me this device is to be discovered,
I would like to understand if the fact that within the folder dedicated to the Note 8 Pro there are only the recovery indicates that the work for the new Roma related to this mobile phone still needs to be done or if you can possibly rely on the work done for the Note 8 normal thing that frankly seems strange to me Considering that however the Note 8 Pro mounts a more different CPU.
In addition, I also wanted to understand something else they told me about a poor camera or at least a poor camera compartment in comparison between the stock and the TR cam in order to install the latter it is necessary to have root permissions or I can install it normally?
Sorry for macaronic english but i'm using the google translator so be patient!

If bootloader is unlocked then older miui can be flashed using twrp. Then a facotry reset is required to get to homescren. I've done it myself, with global rom, downgraded from 11.0.4.0 to 10.0.3.8 (however now back to 11.0.4.0 again)
*Factory reset will delete internal storage too so backup everything before downgrade.

Thanks for the reply,
I found a topic for Poco F1, here on Xda, with some info about unlocking bootloader and installing TWRP and I managed to unlock the bootloader after many attempts.
So I unlocked the bootloader, but did NOT rooted the phone. Transfered TWRP with ADB minimal commands, but when I restart phone in recovery TWRP asks for password for decryption. It lets me cancel the screen with password, but when I try to wipe cache and data gives error for not having permission. So I abandoned this method.
I google it and found another way to install roms, thru MiFlash, the tool from Xiaomi website.
The question is: Can I flash Android 9 MIUI 11 Global stable version with MiFlash with succes?
I have now installed on my phone Android 10 MIUI 11 Global stable version...

I fiund different videos online but none for the poco f1 regarding the downgrade with stock rom with MiFlash. It said that it would work with all Xiaomi models, but I don't want to make something stupid, that's why I am asking in this community, maybe someone knows more info about it.
So what version of TWRP you use? Where I can find a working version of the ,,disable force encription.zip" for poco f1?
as far as I know MiFlash is one of the safest ways to flash stock miui for afresh new beginning.
I always use this when I run into any problem. (but u shud get as many experts opinions as possible)
Now coming to the point of "downgrading", I m gonna downgrade my device to check whether it bricks or not.

Now coming to the point of "downgrading", I m gonna downgrade my device to check whether it bricks or not.

Once you've done that, format system and data. Then get twrp flashable miui 10 from here:
https://mi-globe.com/miui-firmware-rom-builder-features/78/
After flash, you need to format data to be able to get to homescreen. It works for me and i downgraded more than once from miui 11 (android 10) to miui 10

Thank you for the help, I wil try to do that and come with feedback. I supose i can install TWRP using minimal ADB commands like I did before, then try to flash the zip with the decryption data.
But you say you downgraded from miui 11 (android 10) to miui 10...is still viable for me to downgrade with this method from stock global version miui 11 (andoird 10) to stock miui 11 (android 9)??. I only have the bootloader unlocked, NOT rooted

While flashing I selected clean all+lock bootloader. After successful flashing and booting, I used "unlock tool" with MI login on the device+on the unlock tool and it didnt give me trouble (waiting period to unlock etc) to unlock again. So its pretty simple if u knw wht u r doing.
Happy flashing

You'll need fastboot commands to flash twrp.
Yes, I've downgraded from global to global. If using twrp, you need the rom in flashable zip format.
Can't see why bootloader can't be re-unlocked.

Yes, I've seen that roms for Twrp are in .zip format and the ones for XiaoMiFlash are .tgz format.

Yes, I will do that, check everything twice and don't rush. Everything should be properly done, step by step.
I still have a question.. if I have my microSd card in the phone while I flash a rom or wipe data it will affect it? I will loose the data on it? Should I get it out while doing the procedure?
Although I feel that it shudnt format sd card, I would simply remove sd card when wiping and insert it back when needed.:good:
I dnt wanna take chances.
Its upto u nw.:fingers-crossed:
