I want to know how to change component inside apk.
As example,some apps need picture verification and it forcing the user to upload the image using the camera,instead of uploading it from gallery.
I lost my id card,and the apps i want to use is need picture of my id card, and there is no option to upload the image from gallery.
In the earlier version of the apps (years ago), i still able to upload the image from gallery.
My question is : what should i add to the apk so i can upload the image from gallery?

Ok here's my story of images, i have taken pictures with my streak and copied thru usb to my pc and deleted from streak, now when i download images from web and open my streaks gallery 'here is the magic' i see the deleted images again on my streaks download cover album and when i open it the image which i downloaded shows the deleted image thumbnail when i zoom it shows the original downloaded image but the confusion is the downloaded image has a thumbnail of deleted image or transfered image and shows the downloaded image when zoomed image shows original image which doesnt has its thumbnail image shows the thumbnail image of deleted image and its really really confusing but this confusion happened with bluetooth images too i wont say bluetooth confusion story 'it'll make more confusions' so without making any more confusions, is there a trick/tip/solution/fix for this confused images...
I had a photo of my friend and i kept it as his contact image.Now that photo was accidentally deleted and i don't have it any more.But that image is still visible in the contacts.Is there a way to bring that image back form the contact data?
Using root explorer or any file manager
Go root>data>data> com.android.providers.contacts>database>contacts.db(copy this file to sd card)
In this contacts.db file all information about your contacts is stored
Now how to extract image from this database file i don't know
You can see all your contact names and number using sqlite but no idea about image

Hi. I have read a lot of post about media scan in i9300 and I cannot figure out what happens to me.
I have a folder of image , (for example whatsapp image) the folder was stored in the internal memory (mnt/sdcard/Whatsapp/media/whatsapp_image)
I copied some images to the folder from computer and my whatspp downloads the new image sent by my friends.
the most interesting thing is Gallery only shows the image downloaded by whatspp. The other images that I put into the folder from computer are missing.
I use "ASTRO File Manager" to see what happens. I found that the file manager cannot even generate the thumbnails of those image I copied from computer to the folder. It only have the thumbnails that downloaded by whatspp. (On the other words, only the image with thumbnails are shown in Gallery and they are downloaded by whatsapp)
But I can still open the image without thumbnails by pressing them and choosing "Use Gallery to open", It can be viewed perfectly. It proves the images are not damaged.
(P.S. If I use My Files, the stock file manager, all images have thumbnails. But the images are still missing, nothing changed or improved)
Then I use File Managers, (My Files, Stock File Manager, and ASTRO File Manager) to move the images without thumbnails to external sd cards (mnt/exSdCards/Temp). After that, ASTRO File Manager can find the folder and generate the thumbnails, Gallery can show the images after rescanning the media.
However, after I move the images back to internal memory (I even create a new folder under root of the internal memory), the thumbnails gone and gallery cannot show them after rescanning media.
Does anyone know what happened and how to solve it? I know I may use other Picture Viewer to "solve" this, but I hope to find out the real solution first. Thank you.

I am looking for gallery app, but it need to be like resco Photo viewer(symbian app). I dont wanna to have all my photos in gallery, they should be hide in folder path like on pc.
I dont know if i wrote this clear, but help!

If you wanna hide some pictures
I would suggest QuickPic
You can manually create file names ".nomedia" if I remember correctly to tell other apps that this folder doesn't contain anything

write resco photo viewer in google or youtube, u will see how it works(i cant add images-not enough post)
this is how look RPviewer, you have everything in folder(like in file manager) when u open folder with images, u will see only images in folder, not every images in device
As said you can add empty files named .nomedia in each folder that you don't want to be displayed in gallery.
Create an empty file with any file manager app.
Must reboot to have them read and the filter applied.
well i know this can be see as a duplicate post , but believe i search and read many Thread and search around google and no success or real useful tutorial find for this
i want to remove default gallery from my phones ( Huawei G600 & Sony V ) and replace it with Quickpic
both is rooted .
i use a Root file manager and Go to system/app and delete gallery2.apk ( Huawei G600) or semcAlbum.apk in sony V
now i copy Quickpic.apk to the system/app
and copy libqpicjni144.so to system/lib
after i restart the phone , when i enter some app like whatsup or viber and what to add a image the default gallery load again !! seems it`s still somewhere and only removed from app list in menu
so whats the problem ??
how can i edit Default app for opening image and video in android ?
selecting Quickpic as default on app asking or using titanium backup to freeze the gallery will not help for prevent run gallery in some app and make .thumbdata3 file

why i need to remove default gallery :
after i test and remove .thumbdata3 ( with huge size and make my phone memory full ) for a few times , i see when i enter the gallery again this file re created with the same size and never can get ride of it
even i try to create a file with the same name and replace it with read-only permission but after the day I see another ..thumbdata3 created with some difference in numbers
so i really need to remove default gallery and more important of that make Quickpic the default gallery for all third party apps like camera, whatsup, line , ...
