best screen protector - Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Accessories

Can anyone recommend the best screen protector to use for Galaxy z flip?

Samsung actually offer a free screen protector service. Well, the first one is free. Do you have Samsung service centre near you? I have to go to London for mine (if it's not locked down by the weekend).
They recommend not installing any screen protectors yourself due to the fragile screen and the folding part.

Suggest a good screen protector

hi xda forum guys, i need a small suggestion regarding the screen protector. actually my htc hd2 touch response stopped working. i given it to a repair shop. he told me that he has to change the lcd somewhat like that for a price of $200 in australian currency. i got the mobile back but the screen is not original i can say because the original screen will be having some cross lines on it and dont need any screen protector. but the one on my mobile is not having any lines on it.so i am thinking that its not a original one. so i decided to purchase a screen protector. i went to ebay but i found alot so i cant decide which one is the good one.so someone please suggest me a good screen guard which acts like the original htc gorilla screen protector
I don't use any screen protector. Just make sure you don't put your phone with your keys in your pocket.
i use the 'folix' brand. they are durable and cover the entire front panel including around the buttons. they also dont interfere with the touch screen responsiveness.
I used many, but so far the best is Zagg Invisible Shield.
Got it form their website for far less than they sell in stores, shipped instantly almost, and it's incredibly durable, no peel-offs, bubbles, etc, and feels great. Highly recommended.

Screen protectors?

Anyone found a decent screen protector for this thing?
There isn't a tempered glass screen protector for Galaxy View. which would easily be the best out there. There is plastic screen protectors which can be bought from Amazon USA or UK.
I bought one from USA this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017KZI3YW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it's bit tricky to put it on and a bag from China https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B018W0O0MI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'll give that one a try. Thanks. Reading the reviews on all the protectors available for this thing is discouraging.
It's very difficult to apply a plastic screen protector on galaxy view. I ruined my £18 screen protector I bought from USA because it was too difficult to put on. I'm not worried since my tablet screen doesn't have a single scratch at all without it
The illumishield installed good for me. Took a lot longer than any I've ever installed since it's a huge screen but it's bubble free with no flaws in it.

Question about screen and screen protector

I have Z2 plus and I have broken my screen second time. First time it was only screen broken and phone was working fine but this time phone is completely dead. I have given it to repair shop. Should I buy screen guard or protector or something for extra protection? What is the reasonable price for screen protectors in India?

They don't do very much for protecting the screen, since screen cracks are almost always because of the phone falling sideways causing the frame to dent or in our case, flex and crack the screen. What you should do it, get a silicone/rubber case with ample protection on the sides, it'll help absorb impact force.

If u still want to buy a screen protector , buy the full screen protector from amazon, those are very good. But if u live in a city like Chennai , then u can locally get those for around 40-50 ?

If you plan on using the dual screen accessory you might not have enough clearance between the screens when closing the device. Doing so may cause damage to one or both of the screens.
If you plan on using the device without the dual screen accessory and you want to protect the screen, you should avoid using Zagg products at all cost. Their curved line of protection has a viewable area smaller than than the viewable area of your actual screen.
That and the curved area of the protector never fully adheres to the screen. Both of these issues indicate the protectors are built out of proper spec to offer the advertised protection to begin with, likely causing display damage anyway, during an incidental fall.
Furthermore, tech support recommends fixing this issue by heating the screen with a hot air tool, which further compromises the protection offered. Tempered glass is made from a ploymer blend combined with actual glass. It's created with heat and formed to a curve, and when cooled offers substantial drop protection to the device it's adhered to... so long as the application is sound and free of gaps between the glass.
If your protection doesn't adhere properly to a curved display, despite being aligned properly, it will cause your LCD to break the first time it lands on that spot.
And when you have a broken screen with a Zagg product on it? They charge you more money for a replacement protector and you pay full price for your broken screen replacement... virtually a front loaded profit machine that gets your money twice while leaving you to deal with a broken device on your own.
Without advertising, there are products out there that when purchased and registered properly, can provide repair reimbursement if your device becomes damaged with their protection on it. Cell Helmet and Gadget Guard are two companies I've dealt with in the past.
If you were to purchase an insured case with an insured screen protector, in the event you end up with a broken display, you could get up to a combined $550 reimbursement for repairing your device. Cell Helmet offers up to $300 on their altitude X line of cases. Gadget Guard offers up to $250 on their black ice + and cornice line of screen protectors.
When you've purchased the products from authorized retailers and followed the registration instructions, you'll have the best combination of protection you can buy for often times the price of a single Zagg protector.
This is coming from a 20 years experienced electronics repair tech. The only time I would ever use a Zagg protector is when a) I can buy it for $10 and b) when it's a flat screen iPhone where you can replace the LCD for $20 anyway.
Good luck, stop giving bad companies your money.

What's the most similar screen protector (foil) to the one that's pre-applied on S20?

I had S20 for about 6 months and today I've been unlucky enough to somehow get dust under the protector and I had to peel it off.
I've been happy with it but I sadly found out that Samsung doesn't sell (or apply) the exact same screen protector in their stores so I'm looking for a replacement that will provide the most similar experience to the one that was originally applied on the screen.
Note: I do NOT want a glass screen protector. If there's a foil that will work as good or better than the pre-applied one, that's fine but a glass screen protector is something I'm not interested in.
Yep, I agree with you, their included protector is just great! I read that they do it in their stores, but that was while ago.... I'd be interested in similar protector as well since mine has some scratches and bubbles
I got some of these. Easy to apply (they give you all the tools) and is basically the same as the OEM one in terms of performance and aesthetics. Just read the installation booklet before you dive in as it's like a two part thing with a squeegee tool.

So I did but the one you suggested and I'm generally happy, the application I've done wasn't perfect (I applied the foil slightly to the left but other than that, it is aligned) but I do agree that it was quite easy to apply.
So onto differences from the OEM one.
There is no hole for the camera which I'm not sure is bad since I don't really use front camera and can't say if it affects the quality. For me it's probably a benefit because it would drive me mad if the hole were misaligned because of my imperfect application
Sadly, the foil is "softer" - if I grab the phone in wrong way and my fingernails put too much force towards the screen, it does leave marks (scratches, I guess). They don't seem to actually stay there for long but I don't feel as comfortable knowing that I can scratch it that easily. Even though I don't expect to change this foil to anything else, the OEM was definitely better on that front.
I don't really have much else to say here, for the price (I bought 3-pack for an equivalent of 13-14$) it's great but if I would be looking for the best foil out there (and had money to waste on all the different foils ), I would definitely keep looking for a better one.
Ibywind. Best of the best.

I had the same problem with my S20; I tried different tempers but nothing worked, then I tried gadgetshieldz screen skins, which were recommended by a colleague. I've been using it for three months and am pleased with it.
In my perception, you may like that because the display skin is ultra-thin.
Am leaving the link which I ordered on: Samsung s20
