Lg G8x speaker volume inbalances - LG G8X ThinQ Questions & Answers

Occasionally, when watching media such as youtube in landscape mode at low volumes ( under 50%), the phone will more predominantly play music out of one speaker or the other, raising the volume past the 50 % threshold seems to fix the speakers back to normal till the issue happens again, any thoughts ?

Ringing is low

Hello all,
I am having a problem with my phone, If i put the volume high (max) the ringing getting loud and hearable, but then the phone speaker becomes too loud. putting the volume to middle eill lead to acceptable phone speaker but the ringing will be hardly hearable!!!
is there a way to set only the ringing volume high and keep the speaker von to middle?
hi i notice the same problem when you set your ppc to standby mode aka sleep mode.Try again without setting your ppc on standby mode.
There are two different volume settings with relation to calls/ringers.
Outside of a call, put the volume to max and it should ring loudly.
During a call, you can adjust the volume, and this will only affect the call volume.

[Q] Left speaker volume decrease

Hi everyone,
a while back my xperia mini started with this annoying (and weird ) habit to slowly decrease the volume on the left speaker when playing music. It starts out as normal balance but after a few songs the left is starting to go down to a very low level. Not muting it completely though.
It doesn't help to unplug the phones or even restart the phone. When I give up and leave it for a while it returns to normal though... for a while.
Since it takes a while for the volume to go down it's not something I trust a support to properly analyze. Do you think this can be solved with a new rom? I'm running stock android 2.1-update1.
edit: I've tried different music players but it stays the same.

Volume Slider Resets Itself?

Just bought an Xperia Z Tablet and note that the volume seems low.
When I go to the Settings/Sound/Volumes I see the button on the first Volumes selector ie Music video games & other media is about half way across.
I slide it all the way and press OK but when I go back in it has reset itself to the half way marker?
I am using blue tooth headphones while this is happening.
Any ideas why or how to boost the volume?
OK, just plugged in some conventtional headphones and when turning the volume up got the warning message. This didn't appear with the bluetooth headset so the system limited the volume. Once I had set OK in conventional headphone mode it seemed to clear the way for full volume in bluetooth mode. Volume is fine now.

Volume/audio lowers automatically?

Hey guys. I've been getting annoyed by the audio lowering itself when watching videos. Happens on any player, but especially on Youtube. Like I have the volume on about 60%, sounds great, and then it just cuts down the volume to let's say 40% while it is still set to 60%. Has anyone ever experienced this? It's extremely annoying and it happens after about a minute of watching a video.
Thank you!

I have the same on YouTube, just pause the vid for a few seconds and the volume returns..... it's a nasty bugggggg
Wait what ...! That's a bug i was tooling my self al this TIME ..i always notice that sound sometimes feels too low at max vol ...i though its surrounding noise marking sound less audible ..huhh i also blame doob settings ...lol
Awful bug with 9.1, on mine mate 20 x it's the same issue.
I reported this to Huawei months ago.
Experiencing the same(?) issue:
When my volume is set quite low and I play a video or even just music on the stock music player app, it plays normal for about 10 seconds and then the audio gradually (during about 2 seconds) lowers to less than half the original set volume and then it stays low like that.
The volume slider itself stays the same.
Like demon2112 suggested, pausing the playback for a short moment (at least 3 seconds) indeed fixes the issue but then again 10 seconds later the issue comes back.
I don't think the issue happens when the volume is set higher; only on low volumes levels.
Also, I'm pretty sure it is only the bottom speaker which lowers in volume.
If I listen only to the earpiece (by blocking the bottom speaker), it does not appear to change.
Is this the same for you guys?
Issue still happens on 9.1.0.323

Nope.
On Android 9.0 it worked perfectly
I face this bug also. It is very annoying. It's like the sound "moves" to the earspeaker. I am on .180
I have the same problem. 9.1.0.358. Maybe there is some system settings we could tinker with?

I tried everything in sound settings and settings related to sound or multimeedia in dev options. Tried both on android 9 and 10. None of that worked. I saw somewhere that it can be resolved by turning off stereo+ option but there is no option like that on this phone. When I was using beta of android 10 I reported this issue several times and as we can see with no positive resultat.
Fix for me
Turn sound+ on, switch Dolby from Smart to music with flat eq

Where can I find sound+ option?
Any solution for this. Been having this issue since I upgraded the software.
I have EMIUI 10.1 on my Mate 20 pro and still no fix.
So EMUI 10.1 isn't a real update. Some cosmetic changes, thats all.

Low Audio Volume LG Stylo 5

Adjusted eq settings to custom all settings up. The sound is muffled. Tried a colume booster works well with headphones but speaker volume too muffled. Is there a way to fix the speaker volume for music to be louder without distortion?
Low volume on Stylo 5

For every music lover avoid this phone..
I had this phone for less than 30 days and Im so angry that Im stuck with it ...
