What is the ROM that you use for your Note 8.0? - Galaxy Note 8.0 (Tablet) Android Development

Hi guys,
I decided to start using my old tablet again, however its on 4.4.4 and apps such as Viber keep crashing all the time.
I wanted to upgrade to a stock rom to fix app compatibility issues.
I tried Lineage OS (unofficial) but I found that the speaker volume was quite low and it had trouble detecting my headset microphone.
So I was wondering what rom do you use on your device?? I don't mind it not being on Android 7.0, I just want it to be stable so that I could use it as a daily driver.. I'm currently looking at VanirAOSP(5.1.1)..
Please tell me what ROM you use or any stable rom in your device.
Thank you.

I had Resurrection Remix installed, but I no longer have this device. It was working fine, but with nowadays apps there was some lag.

Thanks for the feedback, I unlocked my bootloader yesterday and quickly tried the latest version for ido. Seems that it was running fine.
Now I switched to CM12. although I was quite impressed by MIUI Roms, I'm more used to CM like Roms

Redmi 3 (NOT Note or Pro) without MIUI?

Hi everyone,
plane and simple:
Is there a way to use the Redmi 3 without Miui? Its not a bad OS, its just to bloated.
I would much prevere the stock andorid, ir something very lightweight.
I already checked out with Cyanogen Mod, but they said, they are NOT supporting the Redmi 3.
So can I run a stock Android on the Redmi 3 without having issues? Or can you advise some other roms?
TY.

there are cm 12.1 and even cm 13 roms for redmi 3 why dont you search it on redmi 3 thread.
Apparently CM13 development just resumed yesterday and it seems to be pretty good for now.
I don't mind miui, it's an attractive rom, especialy 8. But I do mind all the Chinese clatter that come with it. If there is a debloated version for 3S I'd give it a go
Just install the global ROM if that's your problem. CyanogenMod is decent but needs some work to be a daily driver. That and the many bugs that still exist for it.

The "stock kernel"-labelled CM12.1 on XDA works great as my daily driver

No, it is common issue on Nougat based ROM

Go for 5.7.4 RR ... It's MM but rockstable. Nougat is, right now, not worth trying if you rely on a working phone.

Best stable rom for leeco lemax 2

hi to all, with this smartphone I first tried the lineage 14 but had problems with the sound that was very low. Now I have been using resurrection remix for several months. Also this rom presents frquenti problems.
I'm thinking of flashing again, could you tell me which is the best rom and the most stable for this phone?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings
After trying several Rom I ended up use Cuoco92 Rom runs fine and stable on my device
Tnx, with Cuoco92 have you a problem with mic volume or camera?
I was interested in trying AOSP Extended or EUI. Did you try them ?.
Indian ROM 19 is rock solid
But Indian ROM 19 is marshmellow? Is very old
Official Mokee 7.1.2 is very stable and has OTA every day. Just search for it on Google.

What is the best ROM for Redmi Note 3?

I'm very frustated with MIUI because of all the bloatware and ads. I want to flash an 8.1 Oreo/ 9.0 Pie ROM on my Kenzo. I know that PIE roms are a bit unstable for Kenzo right now. I'm new here so, plesse suggest a good rom. I don't game at all. I use it for call and other media consuming purposes. Thanks in advance.

Incorrect most recently updated oreo roms have fixed the data drain. Like Cardinal and Bootleggers. Right now I would suggest using oreo before pie if you want a newer android experience. If you don't care about the visuals just flash cm13 by Gizmos, by far the best rom on kenzo.
