Camera modes. - Oppo Reno 2 Themes, Apps, and Mods

I just would like you to post here and the reason why you take your photos in different modes. 48 mp mode is aside, so for regular photos do you use default 4:3 with 12 mp (4000x3000), wide srceen 16:9 with 9 mp (4000x2250) or full screen mode with 7,2 mp (4000x1800)? I´m not sure if the mesures are right but more or less.
I just love the phone and its screen so I´m not sure about this because enjoying the full screen at photos also takes into account a loss of quality, but is it remarkable for you? Do you preffer taking photos using all Oppo Renos 2´s potential or is it just a very Little loss of quality and it deserves the usage of its full screen? Thanks for posting.

Nobody else taking part in this poll? Come on, there's no much to do in these times so post your thoughts about the different modes if you want.
By the way, thanks to the one that voted the only option selected here. I'd really like to know his/her reasons and thoughts about it.

Tell you the truth not even sure what modes there are, just left it on default most of the time.
The whole 1 week I've owned it....love to hear which mode one should be using for regular pics ..
I've noticed that it seems eerily quiet here on all fronts of Reno 2/z.
Maybe there hasn't been a big uptake for this model outside of china.

Thanks for answering. The update came here in Spain a few weeks ago and now we're enjoying COLOR OS7. Modes are very simple and has to do with aspect ratio which implies default, 16:9 aspect ratio and full screen. That involves a different resolution as I explained. Nothing else. Just messing around with this because default mode seems ridiculous as photos are seen on this device as its screen is enormous. But I guess that default mode gives you the best quality although order modes offers a better experience when seeing photos in the Oppo Reno 2. So that is.

Yep, I have never seen a phone with so little discussion.... Never.
Can't even unlock bootloader

Little discussion may be a good news. That means the phone is so good and has little or nearly no problems and fulfills all owners needs. That's what I feel when handle it daily.

Thanks for voting here the two people they did. Not a massive participation but enough to clear my mind about this.

4:3 without zoom
16:9 when I need zoom

Never liked 4:3 aspect so I ho for the 16:9 one.
Not sure what the 48mp is doing. I'm a photographer and prefer small size and quick shots in a mobile device

HTC one mini 2 with 13MP camera.... WTF????

Thanks HTC for bring a bigger mp camera to a phone that's suppose to be the little brother of the m8.........
http://mobile.theverge.com/2014/5/...tes-the-companys-flagship-phone-in-a-trimmed
...because we're ALWAYS complaining about the MP on our camera when we just upload the photos to instagram and fb..
You can't say that for ALL users. A lot of people don't need a expensive camera to take pics. Especially if you want to use that pic past Facebook etc. All I'm saying is instead of adding a second camera. HTC could have added more to the m8 to help keep it from being the same camera with a second camera. End of the day 4mp camera is a 4mp camera
When I want to use my pics past loading onto social apps. I use my note 3. But if I want to use this pic to upload then yes either my m8 or note 3 will do the job just fine

I'll agree that what smartphone camera is "better" depends on how you in particular use the camera. But just because a camera has more MP, does not make it "better" either. We'll have to wait and see if the camera on the One Mini 2 actually yields better quality images than the M8.
Unless you are blowing up or cropping photos a lot, 13 MP is too much and a joke for a camera phone. High MP smartphone cameras really struggle in low light. And unless you are taking pictures outdoors in broad daylight, its often low light.
I'll agree that HTC probably should not have opted for the dual camera on the M8. Kinda cool at times, but also pretty gimmicky. The money probably would have been better spent improving image quality on the single rear camera (even if not to increase the MP).
It's kinda a slap in the face to a certain degree. Here is the new m8 with the same camera with a secondary camera which is mostly gimmicky while nice at the same time. Then they decide to make the new HTC one mini from a 5 mp camera to a 13MP camera...........
Now will it have better pics? Probably not or probably so. For most people it don't matter, but after being in retail when trying to sell a customer the one the camera is its downside cause on PAPER the 4mp camera doesn't sound good at all compared to the other smartphones out in the market. People will buy the mini 2 because of it has higher mp count than the m8. While the m8 blows the mini in other specs that 13MP camera looks a lot better to somebody who doesn't care to have the latest and greatest specs.
While a higher mp count doesn't make a camera phone any better yes, but why bring the same thing to the table for your flagship but have a mid range phone with a better spec camera on paper WHEN it comes to mp count. .

Unfortunately, Average Joe is always going to fall for that marketing gimmick of chasing big numbers, without having any real understanding of what they mean. How many times have you seen someone with a fancy, big screen 1080p TV; and the owner just has a standard definition program on it; and not even in the right aspect ratio (so the picture is all stretched out to fill the screen). That kinda crap drives me crazy!
I for one applaud HTC for turning their nose up at the megapixel arms race. Its gotten absurd. I mean seriously, do we really need a smartphone with a 41 MP camera? Of course not (I understand its actually a really good camera, but not because its 41 MP).

That is a really good point. Why push a certain marketing strategy (and one that particularly bucks the trend) for one device, then do nearly the exact opposite for another device.
In any case, I don't think that the Mini 2 will really compete directly with the M8. Price point alone, even the Average Joe Blow is going to know its a flagship versus a "budget" phone. Don't know about the One Mini in particular, but for the most part, any HTC phone aside from the "flagship" tends to sell in extremely low numbers. At least here in the US (don't know about other regions).

The same reason we need 4k Tv's and 2k screen on smartphones. To keep making them money lol! Exactly why say your not going to follow the trend but all your other phones are right in the trend? Lol but HTC could have tried a little harder for the m8 speaking of the camera of course. The phone is rock solid but don't have these commercials making fun of these mp trends and being different when your other devices join right in with today's trends.

Some of my favorite shots have come from the camera on my M8. In terms of higher quality, I'm actually looking at the Sony G Lens, since it is supposed to take really nice shots, and is $200 at my local best buy.
Some people such as my self want a phone with camera and some prefer cameras that can be used as a phone.

lets all cut the crap. the camera is nice on the M8 and i do agree. to a certain degree. mega pixels don't make the camera. but it sucks for details when blowing up pictures or zooming we dont need 20 mp. but i think we should have something alittle higher

reviews for the one mini 2 have started surfacing. in ideal conditions it is resolving a lot more detail, by a huge margin. but anything other than ideal and the m8 takes it.
i think the 2.0 pixel size is great and all, but i think we couldve benefited a lot for 1.8 sized pixels and an extra megapixel. that configuration shouldn't lead to a large camera hump.
i'm happy with what i got either way, i do miss the old OIS from my old m7. but whatever, the m8 has proven to be a capable shooter. and my nx300 is always on stand by in case i need a real camera
Any advice on rooting the Mini 2. I receive it tomorrow from carphone warehouse (379sterling.) Has the original Mini gained from official CM11 support thus far?
Any insight on how to root my forthcoming mini 2 and gaining cwm and porting roms would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone know what phone o could potentially port from for the Mini 2.
How difficult to root and install a custom cwm recovery?

what sucks is having a super light sensitive camera.. while living in Florida. It's always bright unless you paint your windows black.
So what if it has a camera with higher MPs. That doesn't make it a better phone than m8. Unless HTC comes up with a device having the same internals as the m8 but a better camera resolution, I don't see what is there to fuss about.

I'm not so sure that having a more sensitive sensor (while better for low light situations) necessarily means that there will be too much light in bright situations. The camera controls the sensitivity (ISO based on the old "film speed" terminology) as well as the aperture (f-stop). It might be that the automatic exposure that the camera is trying to achieve (balance between ISO, aperture and shutter time) is too bright for your local conditions. In which case, you can manually lower the exposure by tapping the 3-top menu button in the camera app, tap EV and lower the exposure value.

I've messed with all the settings. I appreciate the feedback though...
Unfortunately, if i have any picture with a bright spot from the sun the whole picture gets washed out. Full indoor is fine and full outdoor is fine. But daytime pictures indoors with sun coming in the window- washed out. Granted- if i still lived in Philly (or most parts of the country) i doubt it would be an issue.

Any camera will have issues if there are areas in the frame which are very bright, or spotty lighting (mix of bright and darker spots). Or does it seem worse with the phone? Often forcing the focus to a different spot by tapping the screen helps a lot.

Redmi Note 3 Camera Quality

Hi,
A camera is a very important factor for me when buying a phone,
I bought my Redmi Note 3 after reading some underwhelming reviews about the camera, thinking "oh well, how bad can the rear camera be?" - well, the camera is really under performing, very soft images, noticeable noise in almost every scenario, very disappointing.
My question is that,
Is it really a hardware issue, or just poor camera algorithms coding?
if the former, I will just look for another phone and sell mine,
otherwise, I will (try to) wait patiently until the appropriate software update will come
Thanks
check this out
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/5ci866/why_do_people_mock_the_redmi_note_3_camera_it/
Camera is nothing but decent , specially at natural light conditions.it seems great at night condition without flash due to low aperture.miui 8 greatly improved my camera experience.i found alomost zero noise in night shots. Enough for a $200 phone
I think it takes good pictures but I found that any kind of motion will blur the picture (even just walking and snapping a pic), so motion sucks, try taking a picture of a moving dog it will just be a blur, low light also sucks, but if you take still pictures under good lighting pictures look great, I think there is a soft spot for this camera it's just hard to find, also lowering the resolution to 12MP will take 16:9 widescreen photos rather then 4:3 photos in 16MP mode
Part of the problem is it never wants to increase the shutter speed properly in order to keep iso low. It tends to take most pictures at 1/25th or so, which is great for static but not for moving objects where you need a faster shutter speed to freeze motion.

low light shots are average.
daytime shots are great.
did you tweak the default settings?
which ROM are you on?....try to be on latest MM dev or china rom
also try using open camera.
at this price range, show me a phone which gives better images?
I tried all the tweaks available including using Open Camera, nothing really helped.
I ended up selling it and buying an Mi4C - the difference in photo quality is unbelievable (at a price of around 90$ new)
Had 7 different smart phones this year, and Redmi Note's camera was the weakest among them, for me it's very noticeable.

New DXOMark Score of Pixel 3

Hello guys,
DXOMark just released the review for the Pixel 3.
https://www.dxomark.com/google-pixel3-camera-review/
Here is my reaction:
"This is a joke. Night-Mode: High Res always on (even without zoom), better image saturation, plus better HDR Quality. Meaning: Even better shots at daylight. AND it makes night images awesome.
DXOmark. Shame on you.
1. The Pixel 3 with always Night-Mode-Shots will easily score beyond 110+ - but obviously - we can't trust DXOmarks scores anymore. They do not show the full capability and power of a smartphone camera.
Also the comparison shots with the Pixel 2 zoom is NOT valid. Just get a port of the Pixel 3 camera api on your Pixel 2 and you will have the same super res zoom and the better zoom results, because it's just a software trick. And again, DXOmark proves that they are NOT consumer friendly. On the contrary.
Take a look at xda-developers, guys. There you can see the truth.
2. Shooting pictures with the Pixel 3 is a homerun, you point and click, easy. With other phones the chance of getting bad shots / blurry ones is alot higher if you are on the go or can't stop long enough to stand 100% still.
It doesn't matter which people I talk to, Pixel 3 users are always stunned by the quality of 99% of their pictures. The moment I turn to Samsung / Huawei / Apple users they still like their pictures, but do admit that they often have to delete images because of miserable shots.
These "pictures" here do not show the reallife - performance, because they are still images. But in the real life you do not stand still all the time. On the contrary. If you are on the move with your friends, you want to take your phone out, make a pictures quickly and be done with it. The Pixel 3 is your friend there.
3. Giving a score for video quality without offering comparison - videos (or any video material at all) is a joke.
You are giving us tabulars without any means of checking their validity. You guys should go and check out the German "Stiftung Warentest", the largest German consumer organisation comparing goods and services in an unbiased way. Their tests span dozens of pages and they enable self-testing.
Please take a note or two and improve your methods. They are NOT thorough.
All these factors MUST be taken into consideration at a smartphone camera test. But here.. they are not. Which means that this "review" is not comprehensive."

I would like to have your opinion on the matter.
Edit 21.02.2018 16:05 - I think they just deleted my criticism, it's not available anymore on the review - comment page. Well done.
I agree with you and i want to add another thing that DXOMark is missing. About all the smartphone have extra modes only aviable for the back camera (Night mode for p20 pro for example) while with the pixel 3 those modes are aviable also for the front camera. How this cannot be counted in a camera review!? I would say thay DXOMark is giving scores only under they restricted conditions and are not valid in general.
Well, didn't you remember Huawei in October saying they didn't want to "release the test" of the Mate 20 Pro because it would crush the competition?
Companies can dictate whether or not a review is being released?
lol.
Guess who pays DXOMark the most. Mine is apple.
I don't agree with everything you said. There are some valid points in that DXO review. From my experience, the pixel has some issues of underexposing and oversharpening. This might work well when taking pics of landscapes or objects but not on people. I'm not arguing that the pixel doesn't take great shots, it really does but not in every scenario. As far as night shot goes, it's a great feature but I haven't found much use for it as I would rarely switch to that mode unless I wanted to impress someone.

Agreed, the whole point of DXO is to test the cameras auto mode performance. I would even argue they should stop considering portrait mode and zoom with secondary cameras to really level the playing field.
But the Pixel getting the highest video score shows how tests don't always align with people's preferences. Most would agree the Pixel video recording is just average to the consumer. And the pictures people love didn't get the highest score.

A good review, and I agreed with their picks for most categories.
What I found 'unfair' is the bokeh shot comparison (PORTRAIT MODE: TSUKIJI MARKET), where their complaint about the Pixel 3 was linked to a person the in the background positioned in the worst possible space for the AI to effectively do its work. If you compare the shot by the Pixel with the others, none of the photos include an object between the model's hand and her face, except for the Pixel (and to a much lower extent, the LG V40, displaying similar cutout mistake). Such 'obstructions' handicap faux-bokeh software significantly. The reviewers also fail to comment on the messed up skewer on the iPhone XS Max - they only noted this for the iPhone XR.
Otherwise I think it's a very fair review, and the Pixel deservedly wins overall.

General Galaxy S23 Ultra camera performance

I've had the phone for a couple of days now ant the battery life is stellar but the camera is such a disappointment. Compared with the S22 Ultra it lets in less light and the pictures are overall darker. Same goes for low light pictures, the S22 Ultra is consistently brighter in all scenarios. It reminds me of the difference between my iPhone 13Pro and my S22 Ultra last year the former always capturing more light. To be honest I was expecting the opposite to be true with all the reviewers clamoring about the S23 Ultra's better low life performance and camera overall. I'm really not impressed so far.
Anyone else still in possession of both phones? What's your experience been like? Any suggestions? Did I miss something in the setting? So many questions
Clear cam data, try a hard reboot and clear system cache. Try in safe mode.
Carefully go through -all- the cam settings and options.
Return it if you don't like it for a cash refund.
Are you using the 12 MP default option instead of 200 MP? The 12 MP is said to give the best results on colors and contrast when shooting in low light.
"Binning pixels like this increases their effective size, allowing them to gather more light and detail. So the ISOCELL HP2 can bin every four pixels to effectively make them 1.2μm in size and produce 50-megapixel images, or bin 16 for even larger 2.4μm pixels and 12.5-megapixel images."

Done. No dice. The camera still lets in less light on the S23U. In the settings I noticed that Camera assistant is missing. Must be a One UI 5.1 thing. Do you also have the S22 and S23 Ultra? Is that the reason for your suggestions? Are you seeing different results?
I'm upgrading from S22U (SnapDragon) to S23U and the few comparison shots I've taken I found that the S23U does capture slightly more detail, but there's not much difference at all. Remember this is the initial firmware for the phone though so the camera performance should hopefully receive some updates over time.

For sure. I totally get that. The thing is all the reviewers said that the s23u captured more light and that has yet to materialize for me. They were using the same software. To your point, the software should get better but I feel as though this is a hardware thing. But I'm no expert.

Try shooting raws, at least 3 f/stops more exposure and WB correction. Downside is the post processing effort/time required.
The issue may simply be the firmware instruction set. Samsung is notorious for dialing things in after the release. I'm still happily running N10+'s on Pie and Q. I demand a dual drive capable device. I'm not pleased at all by the newer Android versions from Gookill either.
The dead zone between pixels on such a small sensor with such a huge pixel count is concerning as is the individual pixel microlense quality. Even 20mp is pushing it. Canon full frame sensors are maxed out at about 26mp.
Regardless of the camera learning it's capabilities, limitations and shooting effectively within those boundaries is what grabs keepers.
I haven't had issues so far with the camera outputting dark images. I've tried some shots inside at night (with main cam), shots outside, shots with main 12, 50 and 200mp modes, 3x, 10x. So far I'm pretty satisfied and also noticed a huge improvement in processing especially for 3x and 10x outside which, on my s21 ultra, I was always doing those shots with gcam. Now I could actually consider using stock, though I need to test way more extensively to know for sure.
Might help if you provide us with some pictures of the issue you're having, maybe side by side with your s22 if you still have it.

Okay I think this worked. I'll let you guess which is which.
Edit: @blackhawk was spot on. They were both from the S22u. I have such a hard time with the app. I re-uploaded the correct pics. Left S23u Right S22u.

I loathe tripods. Learned to improvise and shoot in low light with my Canon Pro cam 15 years ago.
I'll use anything at any height or angle I can reach as a brace; with practice you can land one of a kind keepers no tripod can grab.
Smart phones are poor shooting platforms; light weight so there's little stabilizing inertia and lousy handholds. Poor shutter release and controls. However they lend themselves to bracing well enough. In a case you don't have to worry much about what you brace it on...
The traditional elbows in, wide staggered foot stance, hold your breath works too. Shooting technique counts...

Poor example; different shooting heights skews the results. The AF lock on point is also different so the bottle's print is out of focus in the one shot. Light metering and colors look near identical in both.

That might work for Photos but not very well for videos especially when you are zooming in 20x. Here's is an example where I have S22U on a tripod and zoom in on a waterfall from across the canyon and pan up and down. No way you gonna do it that smoothly holding it in your hands even braced. So for videos I love the tripod. It's the very lightest one they make and perfect for cell phones or light cameras. Change YouTube resolution to 1080p for best viewing.

Question Galaxy S23 Ultra Camera oversaturation

Hello all
I am observing something that angers me a bit and I see as kind of an issue with the camera and the processing my S23 Ultra does to each shot, more specifically to those taken in 50 and 200mp modes.
I have noticed a considerable oversaturation, increase in warmer tones and maybe even adding of contrast. Whenever there is a scenario where I have oranges or reds, the phone adds more to those and they blow up. I noticed it the other day while shooting a sunset.
The attached pictures are from the standard app, but the same happens in Pro and Expert RAW. The 1st pic is at 12 mp. There is some saturation added, but not too much. The 2nd one is from the 50mp where it goes crazy. After I take the shot it looks good, but it shows that it is processing it and than - crap happens. Same is with the 200 mode.
I spoke with a Samsung rep, I have reset the camera settings, restarted the phone and I am on the newest version, having updated a few hours ago.
Do you see the same behaviour with your S23 Ultras or is it just me? And is there something I can do? I have disabled and disabled the Picture color mode in Dev Options with no effect.
Thank you a lot in advance for helping out!

Try to disable "scene optimizer". It could be the issue.

That should certainly be done but it does not help a ton. The most significant thing I have found is to always shoot in pro mode and take saturation down 2-3 clicks, click the right most icon on the top of the screen to get access to that setting. As mentioned in the gcam thread I also take down shadows and highlights 2-3 clicks and turn contrast up 2-3 clicks. That tends to expand the dynamic range just enough to make a difference. Make sure to use the additional camera settings to tell the cam to always remember your last mode and filter settings.
And about the image in the OP - getting this type of scene right in "auto everything" mode is tough even for DSLR cameras costing thousands of dollars. You have to futz a bit with the white balance and exposure to get something pleasing on practically any camera. shooting into the sun requires good understanding of what the sensor is seeing, and almost always takes significant post processing to make it look natural

Thank you both. Scene Optimizer didn't help at all and i will try that saturation thing, though it tells me it is not available for RAW mode
Still it is good to hear, that I am not the only one, so it is not a HW issue, but a software one. Right?
I am not expecting for the phone to replace my Nikon 6 II, but use it, when I am taking a walk and shoot something nice and not need to carry the camera and all the additional things with it
Stock app on s23u screen look ok. Because the screen is washed out with too much blue and green.
But when Ive edited the picture on my benq 4k screen 99% color accuracy, wow, indeed over saturated !
I will follow the Gcam thread closely, I think a member is very close to have a config file on point.
Itnis actually a really good point. I javent thought that i also have Vivid mode on the phone and things might look quite different on other devices.
I assume you also have the same issue as I do with the phone oversaturating shots?

Probably report it with a photo/video evidence and detailed description in Samsung members application.

Already did. I aslo spoke with a rep from Samsun US, but I am not sure if he will log it
Does it mean though that you dont have such an issue with your phone?

Maybe I have but I like colors on my photos
Well not when the Oranges in your shot are trying to get out of the screen and have a life of their own
Don't use Expert RAW, as best as I can tell it has fewer capabilities that PRO mode in the stock app. Once in pro mode click the icon in the top right of the screen (looks like two concentric circles connected by spokes). Then along the bottom there are a bunch of cryptic icons. When you click on each some verbiage will appear explaining what they are. First one is contrast, second highlights, third shadows, fourth saturation, fifth tint. Take down saturation, highlights and shadows 2-3 clicks and bring contrast up the same amount and see what you think.
Other settings to adjust in tandem: from the modes panel pull down Pro mode to the modes strip at the bottom; under Advanced Picture options change storage mode to either RAW or RAW+JPEG if you want to futz with things in Photoshop; and most importantly under Settings to Keep make sure that camera mode and filters are checked.

Well, I don't have my S23 Ultra yet and don't know how you got yours so fast. I'm still waiting and I ordered mine on the 16th, day before they were to be released.
That said, all high end phones and my Nikon Camera have settings that affect that, for an example the "VIVID" setting in my Nikon would cause the saturation problem with your photos and can be adjusted.
Also mid to high end Samsung TVs have that too. In the showrooms they're all set to VIVID or something similar to make the picture POP. Samsung phones probably comes that way as well.
So read your manual and find settings for saturation and adjust to your liking.
Thank you, William. To add to it, I actually got mine the next day, the 2nd from my local Samsung store. I guess it depends per country, but we just got the upgrade from 256 to 512 as a benefit and nothing else.
I have taken some shots the past day, having turned off scene optimization and HDR and making sure that I am looking at the RAW shot, not the jpeg and it seems better.
Your Nikon camera, mine including, has a similar option, but it affects the jpeg shot only and not the RAW, where you can do whatever you like. I am kind of expecting the same with the phones RAW shots.
Still when looking at the jpeg, when I have set it up to take both, the jpeg seems worse, while the RAW is ok. I guess it will take some playing with it and it became better and I thank all that spared time to reply to me. The phone is just amazing. Even 3 weeks after I got it, I still can stop wondering how big of an upgrade it is for me and how much I like it
Cheers!

I ordered this phone for the photography features as I was surprised how good my former S21+ was... I started leaving my Nikons home too much. LOL But these camera phones will never be able to shoot BIF that I like to do. Anyways I'm a semi-pro and here is my website if you care to look.

you have quite a lot of amazing shots there, mate. I urge you not to stop taking your Nikon with you . I know it can be quite a lot and when I decide to go full out, my backpack is close to 15 kilos, but oh, well. It is worth it when you take that amazing shot
The phone is quite impressive for a phone camera, but it is still not close to the real deal. The difference is sensor size does matter a lot.
Here are some of mine then too

Awesome. I am still browsing and I love it. I am still new. Got the Nikon a year ago, had no clue what is going on, and still pushing through it. It is quite a lot of fun, having in mind I hated taking pictures before.
And I kind of like it, that this phone gives me the opportunity to dig into how it is working and what it does to get even more out of it.
I found that using my note9 for photos they came out exactly as what I see with my eyes. The 23 ultra threw a bunch of blue into the sky and made things much more vibrant than what it really looks like. When comparing the iPhone and s23 yes you can see pros and cons but no one really can see how enhanced the photos are. I can't find a way to make the pictures look less exaggerated. I don't think we should have to resort to using pro settings every time. Has anyone foud a way to correct the photos? Debating on returning back to the note

I recommend just switching to S22. It has no such problems and everything works automatically. With him you do not need to be a professional to just take a photo.

Sure. Makes sens. Ditch the batter battery, go for exinos, leave the better and flatter display, the otherwise perfect performance for me, the better ram and storage, etc. I can also get a Nokia with a flash life.
Having in mind I own a semi pro camera, this is a solid advice.
Cheers!
Master255 said:
The battery in the s22 is exactly the same, the s22 also has snapdragon, the screen in the s23 is greener displays less details and has fewer colors compared to the s22, the RAM is exactly the same, the drive too. As you can see the camera is so professional in the s23 that ordinary users can not use it. So you don't lose anything by switching to the s22!

The things you are listing are not the same. I will get exinos cuz i am in the EU. The display is more energy efficient and i dont see the color stuff you are listing. It is a matter of set up.
The s23 ram is 5x, which means newer and faster. The storage is 4.0, which also means newer and faster, and more efficient
There is more in the s23U than the spec sheet tells in comparison to s22U.
