On official site i found only EEA, it's the same rom?

On the ofiicial Miui download page https://en.miui.com/download-346.html they publish one rom for all Mi 8 versions.
Is it safe to flash that rom to Mi 8 Lite?
I want to flash global to chinese.

On the link that you published, there are firmware only for MI8. MI8light will have firmware with letters - ODTMIFD or ODTMIFH.

Sorry to reply back to this "old" thread.. As @holomouse was saying the page linked above doesn't provide a rom for the Mi 8 Lite anymore.
So my question is: where can I download a global stable MIUI rom for the Mi 8 Lite??
The device (as well as the Mi 8 SE and EE) is not even listed anymore in the download page.... https://en.miui.com/download.html
I have seen somewhere on the MIUI forum that they are about to roll out next update for global at the end of November, so I'm hoping they will make it available for download.

Picked this phone up a few days ago, looking to upgrade to android 11 but the global roms I'm downloading give me an error message, local updates carrier version is different.
Checking for auto updates gives no new versions.
I'm using 12.0.6 global stable and tyring to update to V12.2.5.0.RJBMIXM from:
