s1-network-tool/sony japsn xperia1(802SO) - Sony Xperia 1 Questions & Answers

Hello, Sony users, I bought a device that has been unlocked with a SIM card at Softbank in Japan, but it is impossible to unlock the bootloader. First, I have paid for the code release,
The method and site I found is here
unlockmydevice. c o. u k
but I am worried because there is no response yet.

Please let me know if it's working for you. I have the same unlocked softbank phone like you. I'm not sure whether the tool can be unlocked the bootloader or not. Waiting for you result after you received the code.

Hello, did you get the code there? I haven't sent anything yet after paying for PayPal, so I'm waiting in anxiety.

No I haven't ordered yet. Wait for your result whether I could be unlocked bootloader or not. Please let me know if you received the user name and pass.

[Q] Unlock Codes for X10

I saw a thread on here in which someone declared they had the unlock codes for the SE Xperia X10 but I cannot find it now. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks.
I'm fairly certain the unlock code depends on the IMEI of your phone, so you'd need to get your code from an unlocking site online.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I've tried several online unlocking services, they all returned my money saying they could not unlock my AT&T X10. AT&T will unlock it, but not until August 4. I'm going to Europe on June 22 and want to be able to use a European SIM card while I'm there.

Oh. by the way, about that original question of the guy with the unlock codes? One of the members here seems to think it's just a rip-off'.
It is probably a long shot, but try this site http://www.mobileincanada.com/How-To-Unlock-Your-Cellphone.
There is a box which does a pre-anaylsis of your IMEI. Might be worth a shot even though it is mean for Canadian X10's (I've used it twice with success on my phones).
there has been a long standing debate on whether or not the unlock codes work
theres about 10 links there as well and from what i understand thay do req the IMEI #
it allso reqs a reflash of the f/w witch i find odd anyway

No, it does not mean you can use any sim card.
my phone is network unlock, i cant upgrade my firmware via seus or se pc companion. but you can use flashtool to flash roms
thanks you both, after searching ive finally gathered it has to be sim unlocked by
factory, network provider.
using sites like http://simlock.com/ and da vinci team does this affect the bootloader unlock? i.e. flashing different kernals? im sure i read in the bootloader post that using 3rd party unlock your bootloader is locked again?
so for instance if i sim unlock from the sites mentioned, is my boot loader relocked or will i have to unlock it again after sim unlock?
at the moment my x10i is network locked to orange but 2.3.3 root/unlocked bootloader via flashtool.
I went whit cellunlocker.net
the best, used it on 3 phone.
takes about an hour to receive a code
and it do NOT interfere whit unlocking the boot loader
free unlock code from [email protected]

[Q] How to retrieve my current unlock code?

Hi there!
I was provided an unlock code by Dell, and unfortunately I had imprudence not to rewrite it somewhere. So, my phone is currently unlocked, but I want to figure out what is my unlock code.

the best advice I can give you is call Dell Technical services and they will gladly provide it for you. let me know how it goes.
If you've already unlocked it, the code itself isnt useful anymore as there's no way to reuse it. It's not possible (to my knowledge) to relock a phone under most curcumstances.

Unfortunately, I called Dell Support Center only 1 time over Skype, when I was in Ukraine.
They asked me the copy on invoice, which I hadn't have because I was not provided it by the seller on Ebay. And also they asked my EService and ServiceTag. I fib a lot of different reasons on the question, why I cannot provide them the copy on invoice, but they didn't break. Later, my seller contacted the Support Center and they provided him a new unlock code. That was the solve of my question. And as I've already told, I had imprudence to lose it.

I do know that if I use unlock code, it can't be used anymore. But.
The reason of creating the new topic was that I'd flashed my Venue with MIUI, and on the boot of the phone, it requires a sim pin, and then it requires a network pin or smth like that. But after I've flashed official 325 firmware, this message is gone.
Now I want to back to MIUI, and I'm interested, what will happen.
Later I'll post a result.
Thanks everyone for answers.
Flasing different firmaware is not going to restore SIM lock; once your phone is SIM unlocked it will stay that way. SIM pin is something different. IIRC the default SIM pin is 0000 or 1111. You should be able to get that from your carrier.

IOT_H850 does not support bootloader unlock

Hi, i just recieved my H850 which i bought online, when i tried to boot-unlock this one, the site responded "your device IOT_H850 does not support bootloader unlock, please check your model" so i emailed lg-dev support. They told me that it was a sample unit and does not support bootloader unlock. My question from this helpful community is that am i doomed in this matter(unlocking bootloader/ rooting/ rom updates) or is there any hope. I cant get a replacement on my device so thats out of options.
unfortunate there is no way to unlock
the only way to root is to wait for an exploit or to get a replacement unit
but if you can not do that, you are out of luck
That is what i am gonna do, Wait.
Facing same issue how much we have to wait?
IOT_H850 is a sample model. Allows updating via OTA or through LG Bridge???
Thank you.
Hello,
I've same problem, not yet any possibility actually?
Same problem here also. help please

Is SM-N981U Able to be Rooted?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no but does ANYONE know if I can root my SM-N981U? I did get the recent updates automatically and I'm currently running UI v 3.1, bootloader v 2 and android 11. If its NOT possible does anyone know if anyone's working on it? Any help would be AWESOME!! I also have no idea how to turn the bootloader off if rooting is possible so help there would be nice. Thanks in advance!
Your model number ends with "U" which indicates that it's a U.S. variant
U.S. variants always get their bootloader hard locked and can't be unlocked via regular means. Root requires that you unlock your bootloader.
There was a paid service that offered to unlock U.S. variant bootloader here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/sampwnd-usa-model-bl-unlock-info-u-u1-w.4201689/
But I'd ask first if I was you. Other than that, I don't think you'll be able to root.
