Bliss for noblelte [N920C/I/G/CD]
Bliss for nobleltetmo [N920T/W8]
Bliss for nobleltezt [N9208]
Note: Some N9208 use the noblelte build instead of the zt build, if the zt build does not work for you, try the noblelte build. (Blame samsung)
This will be the final Q build for noblelte. There is no ETA on Android 11. I'm taking a break from all android related stuff for an unspecified amount of time to focus on my studies aswell as my personal life. If you're a developer that's interested in taking over these devices, feel free to apply for maintainership once applications are open. I'd like to thank the bliss team for this wonderful opportunity, the 7420 community for the kind words and help with testing, & to everyone who helped me get where I am today. Farewell!

anyone tested this rom on N920C?

I ran it for few hours, from major bugs I can list a boot loop after restating once a screen lock is set (need to skip pattern lock during 1st launch) so after I've discovered that I went back to my backup.
Other than that:
- the camera worked similar to other roms so it did capture but crashed if flash was used,
-unlike other Android 10 roms, it is possible to control volume during voice calls unfortunately the echo was still present,
-AoD, edge lights etc doesn't work,
-overall system smoothness was good, did not experience any tearing/slow downs etc.

Thanks a lot. I was wondering if it can be a daily driver. As i have experienced camera issues on Duo with othe android 10 builds, other party can't see my video. i will give it a try once.
thanks a lot for the response.

Good to hear, Home to wake should be working by default on todays builds, if it doesn't seem to be working, go to Settings > Blissify > Buttons > Home Button > Wake device to enable it.

Yes, it works great on the N920C, we have quite a few users running it on that variant. I've personally been daily driving this rom for close to a month (Since before I released it)

I just fixed the screen lock issue, it should no longer bootloop, everything, including Face unlock works perfectly now (This was a pain to figure out). Try using a 3rd party camera app such as Footej or Open camera, flash works fine in these, just seems to be broken on the built in Lineage Snap camera app. Double tap to wake was disabled due to battery drain (Made the device close to unusable, SamsungDoze was also causing a lot of drain issues and was removed, I'm not sure if we can get AOD & edge lights working properly, but I will look into it. Battery life & performance seems to be as good/better than lineage or Havoc, and way better than the older builds of AIM/Lineage/EvoX, etc..

I've been using this as a daily driver for the past month, been working great for me. But, there are some issues with camera on all android 10 roms. Everything else other than video recording works mostly fine if you use a 3rd party camera app such as Footej or Open camera (Built in Snap camera app doesn't work well).

I've released updated builds for both Noblelte (N920C/I/G) & Nobleltetmo (N920T/W8), with screen lock fixed. Hope you guys enjoy!

Tbh, the AOD itself isn't a big deal, the notification is. One of the most useful things in my opinion. Being able to see for a brief moment what is it about or being able to discard the notif is big.
But I'm downloading the new build anyway, thanks for info.

I use the N920C model
I can say that it is the best ROM I have ever used. I thank the developer friends.
If the developers are interested, the main problems I have are as follows:
1 Phone call recording feature should be added
2 There is no trash in the Gallery app. Searching can be brought up by swiping left and right, like Samsung apps.
3 There are a lot of unnecessary Bliss apps.
4 the number of grids on the main screen and applications screen is insufficient
5 Date and Search icons on the home screen do not disappear. This is a huge problem for me
6 Keyboard application is insufficient
Better than other ROMs. For example, face recognition lock is gorgeous and smooth. It contains more personal features. It gets warmer less. There is a built-in sound system. The sound panel is better than other ROMs

Hi. So I'm running the rom again and like I said before, it's overall feeling is really good, however, I've got few more bugs that I'd to like share.
Regarding the screen lock: the smart lock based on location seems to have some issues with refreshing itself unless I toggle the GPS on and off. For example the phone was unlocked via smart lock even tho I was far away from home or it stays locked at home.
Still some issues with phone call echo however I have some more details to share. During a call the person whom I speak to will hear echo of themselves and that is related to the main speaker still outputting the call audio despite the fact that loudspeaker isn't on. The main speaker is located next to the microphone so I guess that eliminating the main speaker from phone calls should completely fix the problem.
Also about the overall phone audio, this time regarding the speaker used for the phone calls. The top speaker is trying to emulate a second speaker when playing music etc but it does not turn off when I plug in an audio jack so I'm getting audio through jack and the top speaker. My question is: could it be possible to turn off that speaker so it doesn't work with media playback? The quality of the speaker isn't really worth it IMO, the audio is like half the volume of the main speaker and it barely has any bass, if any. Also it sounds like it's echoing slightly as well.
I hope the post wasn't too long and that it helps to develop the rom further.

Bluetooth keeps crashing when connect to headphones
SM-N920C
this is really frustrating it keeps crashing once I'm paired with any headphone, this is the crash log.
please help if you have any solution.
I wiped everything and fresh clean install without root, stock gapps.
I also tried without gapps still exists.
I tried other 17 based roms (such as havoc, evolutionx) same problem
https://del.dog/emoliphice.txt[/url]

Little grids number is very annoying, phone call recorder does not work. The Google search bar and date bar in the main screen cannot be removed. In the phone application, it should be gained by swiping to the right or the feature of throwing msgs. These errors are very annoying please have a solution

Hi
Did you try to tune any Bluetooth setting available in the developer settings? There's a couple of them, maybe messing with these could fix your problem.

I just released a new build for noblelte, fixed a minor issue which I forgot to fix in the last build, tmo build coming in a few hours!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Firstly, smart lock is a pretty insecure way to keep your phone locked at the right times, it can be buggy no matter which device it's on, especially the note 5 being quite an old device, & being dependent on GPS. (It can also take up quite a large chunk off your battery life, I would advise against using it). Call echo has been a weird issue, it seems to be somewhat random and doesn't affect everyone, I haven't had this issue on my device (I've been running Bliss since 3-4 weeks before I released it and haven't encountered any echo issues in calls). I've seen people report this issue on all Android 9 & 10 roms for 7420, I'll keep trying to figure out how to fix it, but at the moment, there is no fix for this. As for the top speaker playing music even while a headset is connected, I haven't faced this issue, not sure what could be causing it ( I just tried to test it), but I'll keep this in mind, and will see if I can do anything about this.

Can you try going back to the latest stock firmware and then flashing the rom? (You can grab the latest stock firmware using SamFirm and flash using Odin, remember to make a backup before you do so). This is the report of this bug I've had, seems to be an isolated issue.

I'm pretty sure the call echo is caused by the bottom speaker (it's grabbing the call audio, I can hear the output). I'd guess that not everyone is reporting it because they aren't aware of it. Pretty sure everyone has that issue it's just that not everyone's callers notice it or don't tell them or simply the caller's mic/speaker volume mitigates it. When you make a call just try listening to the bottom speaker when someone is talking to you.

The problem was with aptX Audio, after pairing i went to paired device settings and turned off the aptX HD toggle and works just fine.

EDIT : Which Gapps do I have to flash? Thanks in advance
EDIT : I used Lite Gapps from LX and its works
sorry to ask little bit off topic. Is there way we can install the kernel without PC? My windows 8.1 64bit wont let me connect my phone in my fastboot mode which is a widely known problem now. There is no solution yet. Any alternative way to flash the kernel?

The great start
Excited to see 4.4.2 on my Xpro.
Would like to see all things working than sticking to native ROM, e.g. WiFi hotspot, FM, HDMI, etc.
Testing, will report.....
Phone restarts frequently when using gallary app. Even when tried to change wallpaper.
Annoying music shuttering.
Phone hangs after playing game for some time.(e.g. Empire Defense 2)
The wait is over guys.. Official Carbon Nightlies are here.. currently building.. Will be up for downloads probably in 7hrs more.. Enjoy..

So how much do you expect from an alpha build? everything should be 100% perfect???
Placeholder means it will be actually in use in next update.. I have added the option for now.. That will stop the apps by eating more ram and memory management will be better..

It's alpha because vishal says it's alpha.
It means that the ROM is suitable only for testing or enthusiast purposes .
It may contain bugs which have not been discovered ,features that not have been implemented and situations that couldn't be replicated .

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.
Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintained the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.
As stated above, we love to maintain authorship but we also like to publicly praise those that have helped us along the way with our wonderful project. With that said, this wouldn't be possible without the work and help of those listed below THANK YOU ALL!!
| OmniROM | AOKP | CM | ChaOS | Paranoid Android | Slim ROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Please check our gerrit/github for full credits/thanks of individual contributorsBelieve it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

SO WHY A NEW THREAD?
The old maintainer ktempleton has been hit with this thing we like to call LIFE and can no longer maintain the other threads.
For this reason, I've taken the steps necessary to make just 1 thread for both m7ul and m7spr.
I will look into supporting the m7vzw but will need a tester but for now, both can be found here.
MODERATORS, I hope this isn't a problem. If you wish you could close the other threads as they are not maintained at all.
Thanks

Tested for 2 hours and I can say I'm impressed. Amazing battery (like 2% with one hour of screen) and it is Fast and Smooth with all the tweaks I need! The only thing I miss is the wake gestures (need a kernel that support the xposed module)

Is anyone else having issues with people not being able to hear you during a call when speakerphone is on? The only way anyone can hear me is if I put the mic right up to my face and speak, which defeats the purpose of speakerphone for me. It's been an ongoing issue with the builds. Will there be a fix in a future update? I've reported it in the g+ threads too. Other then that this rom can't be beat.

Thanks for the fast response! Much appreciated. I don't think it's a hardware issue cause it only happens on this rom. Sense it works perfectly. It really has me stumped. I'm about to try another clean install now, minus wiping my sd. I'll report back what my results are. I wonder what I could be doing wrong. I'll catch a log too if I see the issue, maybe it'll help, maybe it won't. Awesome rom nonetheless!

Try wiping your sdcard if you could.
Reason I say that is because if you've tried this Viper4Android crap, it might of left some things behind on your sdcard.....

What files in particular would I be looking for and where on SD regarding v4a leftovers? I'm not going to be able to wipe SD until tomorrow but I want to try to get this fixed without having to wipe completely. If I have to I will but if you could point me in the right direction that would get me off to a good start. Thanks again.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

nice been waiting for this time for some fun
Hell of a ROM. Really ambitious to go AOSP base. Congrats on cracking that nut!
There are a lot of great features in DU's kernel too. Frustrating a bit, because I forked from CM and have been spending a ton of time building some of the same features into my own.
One issue I had with the ROM though, was that it seemed really laggy. Anyone else have the same experience with it?

I thought it was laggy upon booting as well, so I tried flashing the kernel time kernel preview from your beanstalk build and everything worked flawlessly after that. Very stable.
No lag here after clean install. Phone dialer not working for me, constantly fc. Restored nandroid. HTC is got my m8, waiting on replacement, using my evo for now. Will try to flash again this eve.

Wouldn't have guessed it would be kernel related. Good to know.

I've been running this for the last week or so. Clean flashed, but also noticed the lag. Especially after a couple of days uptime. Just rebooted this morning and it was a bit better but still not as smooth as some of the ROMS I've run. However, much more stable, so probably something that I can deal with.

Thanks for that tip, I may have to look into that. One question (asked out of laziness because I'm on my phone now instead of the computer) but is that a flushable kernel, or do you have to pull it off the ROM to use it?

The kernel is flashable, post #3 of beanstalk thread. I did another clean flash and set up, then installed kernel time preview. Other than some data connection issues, very smooth.
Could you elaborate on how to put the other kernel on, with this DU?
My phone is encrypted so I plan to completely format the phone and do a clean install of DU and gapps, so after that, what should I do? I'm thinking I need to factory reset, boot the phone again, but then I use captains TWRP to install the other kernel?

Yeah. You get the kernel on there the same way you got the ROM on there.
I'd suggest booting into DU first though. Won't make a difference in compatibility, but it will do a fine job of making sure you're complaints aren't directed my way in the event you're using the wrong recovery.
I have no idea if that kernel works on the old partition layout. If it does work, it's either coincidental or accidental or something.
I just flashed the kernel and wiped cache / dalvik. Then I rebooted and started to watch a show. When the show was over I looked at the phone and it was still on the boot animation.... Great, I thought, I'll probably have to start over with a clean install. But I turned it off and back on, and it started doing the whole "updating apps" thing. (sigh of relief)
Anyway I have already noticed a significant improvement in the responsiveness of the ROM with this other kernel. And that's before even tweaking any of the kernel settings.
It's always a best practice to wipe of course, but I haven't done so after flashing kernels and haven't had any problems yet.
Wouldn't even mention it if we were still on dalvik, but ART takes forever.

True, true. Very annoying. That's why I had initially put my phone down for a while before I realized it hadn't finished booting. I wasn't sure if it was necessary or not. So to be safe, I did it. Maybe next time I won't.
You are going to love what's in the kernel I'm working on. S2W, tap 2 W, voltage control, lots of governors and force fast charge. Oh and it's also faster and smoother than CM, without sacrificing an ounce of stability.
S2S still doesn't work, but that will be coming soon enough.
I really think it deserves to be considered an "original" development as is, but I want to add a few more features before releasing.
Cool!
As an aside, any suggestions on cameras? I saw that HTC released their HTC camera separately as an app, but I don't know if it's even possible to get it to install on the EVO 4G LTE with stock Rom or this DU rom. I know with browsers you can edit a browser string to identify your browser as any kind of browser to get websites to load. is there a similar edit you can do to ROMs to allow installation of the HTC camera from the play store? Or is there a version of the HTC standalone new camera that has been modded to work on the HTC EVO 4G LTE?
Camera features I like are:
1) being able to adjust the JPG compression quality (e.g., superfine, fine, and normal) as a separate setting apart from the pixel resolution (google camera lacks this feature)
2) having single-press buttons available to get video or stills without needing to switch the camera into either modes ahead of time (google camera lacks this feature)
3) burst mode by holding down the shutter without needing to switch to burst mode (not sure if google camera can do this)
4) save to external SD card (the google camera lacks this feature)
I tried various aftermarket cameras, and some come close to having all these features (e.g., the Lenovo supercamera). I think the new HTC camera would be ideal, but heck, I am not even sure how to load the old stock HTC camera from the RUU rom that works well (even though you can't adjust jpg compression level). Should I just give up on this ideal because HTC cameras *MUST* be run on Sense? Can the
dude, the "sense" camera has proprietary code in it, thats why in the sense kernels, the camera seemingly works 10x better and more accurate and more quickly then a non-sense rom. its the same across the board for all HTC devices... If the camera is your focus, you need to be on a sense rom.
There was however, a sense camera ported to the GPE (google play edition) for earlier versions of jelllybean for the htc m7 aka htc one. never screwed around with it, but its interesting nonetheless.
Im about to flash the dirty unicorns stuff now. i was on the kitkat dirty unicorn last month, and flashed cm12 just cause i was curious to see how lollipop was. I was kind of underwhelmed, especially because i sac'd the xposed framework just to be on a newer version of android. anyway, ill test it out and see whats up./
Updated the OP to reflect weeklies and mirror to them.
Weeklies will be compiled every monday and posted in the same place as well as their mirrors.
ENJOY!!

What's your hboot and twrp?
Assuming you're on hboot 2.10 or higher and you're using captain's twrp, you should do a factory reset from twrp, then wipe system, dalvik and cache. Reflash, then wipe cache and dalvik again. Then reboot.
I typically flash gapps right after the ROM, but if I have problems, I go back and boot just the ROM first. Leave it on for a few minutes after it boots to let all of the background processes finish, before going back to flash gapps.

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of the world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for Falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom, which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and includes a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

*bugs*
Camera doesn't work.
I assume that this ROM has the bug where the device will occasionally reboot while using the s-pen, although I haven't encountered it yet.
Screen recording doesn't work
Distortions appear upon rotating the screen
IR doesn't work
That's all that I've noticed so far

FAQ:
Q Are you going to support both liquid dark and Orion?
A Short answer: "yes", Long answer: "I have no reason not to, each ROM is an adventure of its own, however Orion is my priority".
Q Does this ROM support Xposed?
A No, Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be disscused in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A Use the version arm sdk 23.
Q Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A If I have one I will probably give it to you, don't ask for one though, it is very rude to do this.
Q Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, go into Advanced, then File Manager and navigate to /data/system/overlays.xml and delete it, this will allow you to boot up without any theme then once booted, go into substratum and use defaults manager, then select back to system theme and this will disable all overlays.
Q Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conviently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog
Q I'm getting random reboots when using the s-pen, any advice?
A This is not an issue with the ROM, it's an issue with the bootloader that you're using. Here's the fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...maseks-unofficial-build-t2980604/post65631142
With the fix I'm able to use the s-pen without any issues so I know that it works.
If you face any FC which is related to the ROM please take a logcat and submit it to our G+ bug report section! Thank you
If you have issues with the tablet rebooting while using the s-pen, or issues with audio crackling, or lags, you should use this fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...maseks-unofficial-build-t2980604/post65631142
You see, certain bootloader's (mainly the lollipop one) are wreaking havoc on custom ROMs (not touchwiz ROMs though), this fix simply nukes the internal storage and then installs the correct bootloader and everything.

No, the camera isn't working. It's a bug with the device tree that's plaguing pretty much all exynos 5420 devices on marshmallow.

Love the small size of rom. Yet on my P600 it restarts all over the time when pen is in use. Will wait for more mature release.

This ROM is simply amazing. I've been messing around on it for a few hours now and have yet to encounter any issues whatsoever. I'd report bugs to you but the only thing I've seen is the screen distortion when rotating as mentioned in the OP and that's minimal. I never use the camera so nothing lost there. This ROM is so fluid... it hasn't lagged yet (and I tried). Multiwindow seems to be working better too (so far). My tablet hasen't run this smooth in quite sometime. I just might have a new daily driver!

Seems to be a really quick light weight rom.
I was wondering two things though...
First, is there a way to disable the capacitive buttons backlight?
And secondly, are anyone else noticing a strange behavior when using note taking apps? I.e you can't use the pen when your palm is touching the screen even though the pen seems to be recognized as an stylus.
