Messing around with my firesticks just now and was wondering if any of you know of any decent mods available via magisk or Xposed for lineage Os mod?
I read somewhere that a few of the guys had successfully installed magisk modules on CM 12.1 firestick. However I cannot find the posts to the details of which add-ons people are using in search.
Any help or pointers in the direction of these would be great

This is not my work...I just happened to find it and test it on our device.
This is a xposed module created by @thomashofmann. It was initially built by him for the use with his device ( s4 ). I seen his post and decided to try it on our device ( quincyatt ), but i would imagine it should work with all device models....but i have not tested.
With all that said..I have not contacted him to ask if this post is alright. As it is a listed xposed module, I feel that all that is needed is to give proper credit. I will however remove it, if and when he see's this post and has any problems with its creation.
If you decide to try this out...Please give him thanks on his original post..i will give link at the bottom of this post. But if you do decide to try his module..Please keep any questions regarding it in this thread. I do not want his thread hijacked by any of our device forum members..as this module was made for a different device and questions regarding it would be inappropriate in his original thread. Thanks.

I'm running AOKP 4.4 and i have not tested this on any other roms.. i have tested it with the original rom kernel with the AOKP rom i'm using and the uber kernel.., but with the uber kernel it did not help. But i believe that is because my specific device will not run that kernel very well.

okay, i was searching all over the net and didn't find any xposed version that wanted to work on our devices. closest to success was solarwarez xposed for miui tablet. it installed but bootlooped tablet.
there are however xposed installers for 6.0 and 5.0 versions of android but not for 5.1.1., but there is patch on github for x86_64. although i have no idea how patching works, i could try following instructions if somebody knows how patching things works.
that is if anyone is interested in having xposed which would really give our device some life, because there are no custom roms for it.
i tried editing build.prop and added some tweaks. they worked, but that's the extent of my knowledge.

2. Lineage 15 (Android 8) is bugged right now. Camera doesn't work and other problems
3. Stable roms are android 7

You have instructions how to install the rom and what gapps to use in the first post on the rom thread. It's also pre rooted.

Heyyo, for the most stable Nougat ROM? I'd recommend OmniROM. It's not as bleeding edge in changes such as BlackX or Resurrection Remix but it is built for stability upon OmniROM and Darkobas kernel. Depending as well on the build of Resurrection Remix it could have battery drain issues as you'll see on and off in the thread.
OmniROM also has the advantage of signed builds by Google so they come with official SafetyNet Certification. No need of Magisk and Magisk module workarounds so things like fingerprint unlock with your banking app should work without issue unlike any other ROM I've tried with RBC app... That also means if the Le Max 2 had built in NFC that android pay would have worked without a hitch...
I believe the only other custom ROM with signed builds by Google for official SafetyNet Certification is Paranoid Android but sadly there isn't official builds for the Le Max 2 (yet). Maybe once GalacticSryder receives his Le Max 2 we will see that and built upon is custom kernel as well!
I tried porting it but I suck at it and failed haha oh well at least it turns out I'm good at vehicle repairs

Also, Resurrection Remix for Nougat has reached final versions so it won't be receiving updates. As far as I know for Nougat ROMs I think Slimroms and BlackX are the only ones receiving updates still as andr68rus and I believe the same with Shivatejapeddi have both changed focus to Oreo.

It's up to you which path you wish to go. As mentioned OmniROM is definitely the most stable ROM as it tends to not receive major changes as quickly as other ROMs.

Any ROM is super easy to root. Only requires flashing Magisk via TWRP. I'd easily recommend it over any other form of root since it's fully open source software (FOSS) and the modules capabilities is amazing with stuff like Universal SafetyNet fix or other mods like enabling 60fps recording on the Google Camera Mod. I also really enjoy the ART Optimization mod for a little extra performance.
Magisk is found here on XDA and I'd recommend v14.3 right now because v14.0 stable has actually given me more grief heh

Actually, my build are based on a mixture of Lineage + Slim
Hello,
I have searched entire XDA, but every rom has some kind of bug which makes it unstable for daily run. I am looking for a daily driver, with these things :
1. Good battery backup
2. Fingerprint
3. MAGISK with Xposed
4. No SE Linux bugs
I'm even okay with Color OS, but i have heard Magisk modules don't work with stock Color OS. And GSI doesn't support fingerprint
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

For 1 and 2, cRDroid is the best option. I haven't used busybox on it. So don't know about 3 and 4
Best option out of available is CrDroid.
For 3 and 4, my answer is also same as above.

I'm wondering guys if there is any way to get an official Lineage OS rom for Samsung Galaxy note 8!!
All that I found are the unofficial one's and I don't know if it is safe to use or not!
Another thing is the Lightrom OS that I found in our site here, but I found those two things, which are Rom and Kernels!
Should I install both of them or only the Rom enough to do the whole thing, I mean it will also install the Kernel too!
Those were my thoughts and questions, appreciating your helps in this, and thanks in advance

I doubt we will see Official Lineage OS as it requires too much work and the developer does not have the free time. The source code is posted on the thread so if there was anything dodgy in there someone would pick up on it, especially by now. Lineage 17.1 does get monthly builds for the security patches via OTA. If you're interested in flashing it you can get the latest builds here - https://images.stricted.net/lineageos/greatlte/
I can't comment on Lightrom as I believe there are a number of Lightrom's and I'm not sure to which one you refer to.

When you flash a rom it will flash the kernel too at the same time.
