It is just the original stock boot.img.
And this same file patched by magisk too.
It can help you to "install" or "uninstall" magisk on your Motorola One Macro.
Good luck

No this section, my friend

this post does not correspond to the section for Motorola one (deen)

It is in correct section. Because moto one macro (lima) is a variant of moto one.

[RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL][S912] TWRP 3.0.2 for Sunvell T95Z Plus

Hi, I have successfully ported TWRP 3.0.2-0 to the Sunvell T95Z Plus.
You can flash it with Rashr app, boot it on Micro SD with the "Update&Backup" app and a dummy update.zip (rename it to recovery.img) or with the toothpick trick on boot. (rename it to recovery.img)
Download link for Marshmallow: https://mega.nz/#!9sZEXbAY!_WNw-w79ATor3IRZpBCic7xdlA73KOqWpUWQWfqREoQ
A bad thing, there is a problem for restoring System partition on "Superceleron V1 Final ROM" with TWRP, if you do this you will have
"Error during restore process.
extractTarFork() process ended with ERROR: 255"
and you will not be able to boot. I'm sure that come from the ROM, an other user on Freaktab.com have the problem on the same ported ROM on NEXBOX A1 box: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...481#post623481
The only way to repair is to flash firmware again with USB Burning Tool. The restore feature works fine with the stock ROM.
UPDATE 09/02/2017
Updated TWRP for 7.1.1 firmware (Nougat): https://mega.nz/#!poAmXTTL!geVautNHmuTH4egOGw9mTcO7L37oVN95aHqTrGCqRVE
I rooted the box with Magisk but should works with SuperSu too.
Thanks to @simonjonnemeth for giving me the link of the firmware on post #18
Have a nice day

I don't know, it will probably boot (pretty sure) but you will probably not see any partitions. You can try and feedback
thanks, it works!
Thanks! Works on my T95Z-plus. The only issue I've found so far is that OTA system updates don't work. Once the update has downloaded the box reboots into recovery (TWRP). Then sits there. Nothing obvious to install. Reboot to system shows old version not new version.
The official TWRP position seems to be that they don't support OTA system updates, so maybe there's no fix for this. If you know of one please let us know. TheT5ZP0033 update is waiting to be installed but I have no idea how to do it with TWRP installed.
Update: I reasoned that the best method of applying the OTA would be to restore the original recovery, apply the OTA update, and then again flash TWRP. I found two different versions of the the recovery.img here:
https://mega.nz/#F!xlwAmIrD!Dg_1Kqgl1Jp0eGB67fV7Cw
One is individually listed, the other is in the zip. Neither worked. After the OTA download the box tried to boot the recovery and crashed with a dead android with an open door on his chest. Luckily a simple power off-on recovered.
Anyone know of another source of working recovery.img? Or, if there's somebody who has T5ZP0032 running and hasn't yet replaced the stock recovery, maybe you could do us a favor and dd the recovery block to a file on external storage and post a link. Something like:
dd if=/dev/block/recovery of=<myStorageDevice>recovery.img
thx man, i wil try it tonight \m/
I'm guessing some of these T95Z boxes come with an unlocked bootloader. I have an Evanpo T95Z and I have confirmed with the manufacturer that the bootloader is locked. Anyone know how to unlock the bootloader. It already came rooted.

I wish I knew that some of these T95Z boxes had a locked bootloader before I bought my Evanpo branded one. As far as I know Sunvell does not have a 3 GB RAM version yet, do you know if there is another brand of T95Z with 3 GB RAM that has an unlocked bootloader?

Ok, did more research and found the Sunvell branded T95Z with 3GB/32GB and ordered one online. Hopefully all the Sunvell versions have unlocked bootloaders. I really want to load your TWRP. What version of Android are you running? Does that matter with your version of TWRP?

If you look on Sunvell official website all T95 devices have the same spec: S912 soc, 2GB/16GB and Android 6. If you found a different config it's probably a clone. If your device have Android 7 the kernel will probably be different and TWRP will probably not works, the better way to be sure is to try

I used this on my 3/32 gig Android 6.01 box and it booted fine .. I was not able to mount ex_Sdcard but was able to use USB-OTG
Their is no option in the Backup to backup Firmware is their anyway to add this as My box has a totally different Wifi chip than all those on Freaktab (FN-Link 8223A-SR F04001) and I would really hate to totally loose Wifi because of a Rom flash.
I did a Full backup of all the partitions but I'm just not sure Wifi would be restored without the original Firmware backed up
Thanks for posting this

Any idea if anyone's working on porting it for 7?
I'm working on a theory that if I could install magisk to verify play store, change the build prop to a Sony 4k tv or similar then be able to install android tv launcher does that sound believable?
What about the T95Z with the latest 7.1 firmware? I'm getting desperate for root access but I don't want to flash this and find out that my device won't boot because I really don't want to have to go through re-flashing it again. SuperSU was successful with a normal installation, but then it wouldn't boot past the T95Z logo and hunting down the official 7.1 ROM for this device was a nightmare but I found it.

Absolutely. I found it over on the freaktab forums (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player...5z-plus-3gb-32gb-wifi-chip-ap6255-help-needed).
The thread's for the 3/32gb variant, but firmware for both variants is on there.
MEGA link: https://mega.nz/#F!YJ0nTC4Z!qBz6gmJCjwHn0HtlVe2apw
I didn't realize it but this firmware already has ROOT access, though somehow with no superuser app so I didn't realise at first, but I still wouldn't mind a working build of TWRP because I would like to install Magisk.
This was a nightmare to find so I imagine it'll be very useful to other T95Z owners.

Does anyone have a recovery.img copy that can work for Xiaomi.EU weekly rom for Magisk 22.0?

After the Magisk changes, we need the recovery.img to patch to have it be installed. Does anyone have a copy or know how to get a copy of our boot.img?

No, you simply need to patch boot.img - then flash the patched img by fastboot or TWRP (I do and use the latest official 3.5.1_9.0 davinci)
And of course, while patching do not tick Recovery mode option, and flash to the Boot partition (since you are patching boot, not recovery img)
I'm on Xiaomi.eu A11 beta since December, updated through each and every Xiaomi.eu weekly and each Magisk Canary since then.
Every time patching boot.img (you will find in Xiaomi.eu zip) and got the Magisk root with no problem whatsoever.
Currently on the latest Xiaomi.eu 21.4.1 (last Thursday) and Magisk Canary 22007 (released yesterday), as always patched the boot.img and Magisk works with no problem
Btw, read (and follow) the existing thread about Xiaomi.eu weeklies also here for Mi 9T, Guides:

Also in the general Magisk thread:
Magisk General Support / Discussion
This is the place for general support and discussion regarding "Public Releases", which includes both stable and beta releases. All information, including troubleshoot guides and notes, are in the Announcement Thread
forum.xda-developers.com
There are also at least two guides here on our Mi 9T forum about installing Magisk by patching boot.img
They were from the times of MIUI 11 or 12 and Magisk v20 or v21, probably not updated/commented about MIUI 12.5 and Magisk v22, but generally the same coockbook still applies (patching the boot.img and flashing)

There is no such a thread "how to root with magisk" in all XDA links.
But, "IF" you are talking about the thread "How to Root Mi A3 with MAGISK without TWRP", I will say again, because you dont understand at the first time...
...I already searched everywhere, and nothing worked
(including "How to Root Mi A3 with MAGISK without TWRP", the link to this boot.img on github is broken).
But what I just dont understand is WHY are you insisty giving me answer that I didn't ask in the first place? What I ask was:
what is the correct name of stock boot and where can I find it?
If you cant help, just liave it.
Hi Everybody.
I finally found out all this things about the stock boot.
The correct name is "boot.img".
You can EXTRACT this "boot.img" from its respective "OTA" file.
To do so, follow this steps:
1 - Find out what is the "Android Number Version" in your cellphone here:
Settings->about the device->Android Version-> Number Version.
For exemple, my "Android Number Version" is V12.0.5.0.RFQEUXM
12.0.5.0 - Firmware version
R- Android version (R-> Android 11R or Android 11 / P-> Android pie or Android 9).
FQ - Smartphone model code (FQ = Xiaomi Mi A3).
EU- Firmware build type (MI for Global | EU for Europe)
XM - Firmware version code
2 - Download "OTA" file from here:
https://www.thecustomdroid.com/xiaomi-mi-a3-android-10-update-guide/
On the website, scrool down until you get on the name of your "Android Number Version" (or just use CTRL+F) and download the "OTA" file (it is a .zip file). You just need to download the "OTA" file. The "FASTBOOT ROM" file (the .tgz file) is not necessary.
With the "OTA" file in your hands, use this tutorial to EXTRACT "boot.img":
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tutorial-android-ota-payload-dumper-on-android.4061799/
And that is it
You already have your "boot.img".
After that, if you want to root your mi A3, use the thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-root-mi-a3-with-magisk-without-twrp.3958509/
finally you have find the guide! great work man, i'm happy that i can gave you my little help
