The one with the only answer? I perfectly converted the CN version to the WW version. I don’t need to unlock the bootloader or ROOT phone. There is no non-factory prompt. This is perfect. It doesn't need to be so troublesome. . . And unlocking Botoloader will make the phone lose the warranty and OTA. I have to say that this method is very stupid.
Unlocking bootloader will make you lose warranty? So what will changing Rom do, increase your warranty? ?? {Mod edit} You've just voided your warranty by flashing a different region..
Oh there's more, try to update your software, see what happens ??
The method I've put up allows software updates and relocks the bootloader at the end,
If you don't change your fingerprint (which requires bootloader unlock) and try to update the software, you'll brick your phone. Which will be STUPID won't it ? So please don't call the hard work of others stupid, this YouTuber discovered the same method for the rog 2, no need to hate

Hi, i just recieved my H850 which i bought online, when i tried to boot-unlock this one, the site responded "your device IOT_H850 does not support bootloader unlock, please check your model" so i emailed lg-dev support. They told me that it was a sample unit and does not support bootloader unlock. My question from this helpful community is that am i doomed in this matter(unlocking bootloader/ rooting/ rom updates) or is there any hope. I cant get a replacement on my device so thats out of options.
unfortunate there is no way to unlock
the only way to root is to wait for an exploit or to get a replacement unit
but if you can not do that, you are out of luck

1. You might be able to if you downgrade to a previous build. First try downgrading through hisuite to Oreo. If that doesn't work you can find service (dload) firmware on androidhost.ru.
This is only to get Oem unlock back as it's required to be enabled to unlock phone.

3. Unlocking is safe, but as written above you need oem unlock to be able to unlock, else you can't use fastboot.
4. It is on Mate 10 Pro, but that's only because of OLED display. And it's part of EMUI, so you don't need to root for it... But I'm not sure if anyone else managed to port it over.

Downgrading via HiSuite is totally safe and if the option is available, has a 100% success rate. It will however relock your bootloader despite the OEM Unlock option being available on developer options.

I don't have access to my Bootloader Code. Huawei has stop giving away Bootloader Codes last year.
Do you know cheap Unlocker Software that you can recommend to me?

Funky Huawei is the only working one I know of but it's a tad bit costly.

Unfortunately DC Unlocker doesn't work for the Huawei Mate 10 Pro if you updated beyond 8.0.0.142.

I'm referring to the Mate 10 ALP-L29 -- not the "pro" version. Does DC unlocker work for that lineup (or up to what firmware, if you know)?

It's the same if you've updated after 13th September. That's when Huawei tweaked something that DC Unlocker are yet to figure out.

They changed keys used to get the code. So DC can't access it without a working key.

It should. I do know that someone on here paid for it... But not sure of the outcome.

Soon I unlocked the bootloader through the official site of the Motorola. Then I installed a TWPR recovery and installed a Lineage 16, but I didn't like it. Yes, I managed to get the stock rom, but the bootloader remained unlocked. The phone was purchased from Telenor Bulgaria - RETEU version. I ask for your patience and guidance and I apologize in advance. I apologize for my English!
I received two OTA updates, the last one being a security patch by July 2018. I hoped these updates would lock my bootloader, but it didn't work. For as long as I can remember before unlocking the bootloader and putting in a custom rom, I received an official securit update by December 2018.
If no one can help me, can you tell me where to ask. I can assist with any questions if you want details about my device.

Thanks for the reply. As I wrote, I followed the same locking method, but it does not work. Maybe I'm not using the right firmware and that's not it. Thats why I wanted someone here to just tell me exactly what I should show him from my phone data to tell me which firmware is right.

Will that unlock the OEM Bootloader Unlock setting?
I'm not sure yet, but that's what is implied by the fine print on the oneplus site.
We'll find out when someone hits 180 days and unlocks their nord.
Our bootloader is password protected, so someone has a key like they use for the tmob version of the phone.
I currently have both the T-Mobile version and I purchased an unlocked version from BestBuy.

My end goal here is to get access to Unlocked/Uncapped tethering without having to use a 3rdparty app or companion app. The ability to flash custom ROMs and root access. But also the ability to flash back to a 100% stock rom.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
EDIT I see now you can get the bootloader unlocked on both version by sending a token to Oneplus and waiting 7 days.

The only physical difference is that the T-Mobile version has the IMEI engraved onto the back of the phone while the unlocked variant does not and the original boxes are slightly different.
Both phones run different software. It is possible to flash the unlocked ROM to the T-Mobile version of the phone after unlocking the bootloader, but that breaks OTA.

All the info you need to get your bootloader unlocked for the T-Mobile variant.
There's even a single adb command that will ungrey the OEM unlock option in the developer settings without a SIM unlock (you'll still need the unlock token from OP though):
