What's the power consumption of S7+ - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Questions & Answer

Can anyone tell me what's the power consumption shows Ampere (or any similar programm) on your Galaxy Tab S7+ with only Ampere running?

Apps like Accubattery is really good at showing the voltage/ampere readings.

"Ampere" is showing me about -660 to -680 mA during normal reading with relatively low brightness settings with dark colors. In demanding games there is for sure much more power consumption!

[Q]: Battery Usage Tracker?

Hi!
from time to time i get the problem that my galaxy tab 10.1v has around 50% of battery left, and when i want to turn it on a couple of hours later the battery completely drained to 0% !!! i know there's a thread about that in this forum.
to get a hold on this problem, i'm looking for an app which tracks the battery level (e.g. in log-file, a graph...) and maybe even tracks battery usage of applications. the standard android battery usage display isn't detailed enough.
on my mobile, i've got the "current widget", which comes close to my demands. but unfortunately it doesn't seem to run on my honeycomb tablet.
does anyone know such an app which meets my demands? thanks

[Q] Power Saving Mode?

So, what exactly does Power Saving mode do? Have seen reports for the GS3 that it lowers clock speed, others that say it disables a core, so obviously there is no consensus as to what it does. It's not that I need it, this battery is beastly, but I am curious as to exactly what it does.
When you click power saving in the settings (instead of just switching it on) it tells you, but it dims the screen and changes the browser to a blue hue to reduce battery drain and also turns off haptic feedback, it also limits your processor speed to 1.1ghz instead of 1.6ghz
sent from my Note 2
I use it at night alot because it dims the screen. i notice about 30% longer battery life...i just recently netted 50hrs of battery life with 7hrs screen on. still had 12% remaining!

[Q] Battery questions

I've been checking my battery life (see pictures) and I don't find normal that is consumption is so high only for having the screen on and using it for normal things (whatsapping, browsing...). What do you think? may be battery defective? I bought it as it was the original (I think it was a fake one) but I don't have the impression it has the same performance I had when I bought my phone.
In case you think it's the battery, could you please refer me to a seller link in which a battery you recommend is being sold?.
Thanks in advance.
PS: pics 1 and 2 | 3 and 4 are related.
I have been reading about people buying "original" samsung batteries and most of them seems to be a fake. Then, its performance is just bad!. Then, I've seen that anker are good batteries. What do you think?
Thanks!
There's nothing abnormal in your Battery usage statistics. The S3 uses an AMOLED screen so it needs more battery than other screens.
Try to reduce the Brightness to the lowest / put it on Auto. And try using a dark Wallpaper.
Thanks, I was already using autobright with -5. I wonder all of this because I've seen stats of having 1d or more and 4-5 hours of screen. I don't know if these people own a higher capacity battery (e.g. 4400mah of Anker) or it's because my battery is a fake samsung one.

[Q] Problem with Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5" battery life.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5" Android Tablet that I purchased around mid December of 2014. Not too long ago, I noticed that the battery life is significantly shorter. I cannot pinpoint when this started, because I wasn't specifically watching for any reduction.
Also, I did do the upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop, and then a minor upgrade to 5.0.2 about a week or two ago. When I go into the Battery section of the OS section, I noticed that, by far, the screen was using the most power, and the percentage was INCREASING. At about 8:00 in, the morning, the screen was using 20% of the power. But, at about 1:00pm, it was up to 36%--WITHOUT ANY CHANGE IN USAGE. As a matter of fact, the tablet was often sitting idle (with the screen locking periodically).
Another thing I noticed while in the Battery section of the OS section was that the full 100% of power consumption is not accounted for--I added up the percentage numbers of everything that was listed as consuming power, and they did not even add up to 50% of total power consumption, So what accounts for the rest of the power consumption?
This happend to me as well with my Tab S 8.1", and the problem causing it was All Cast, even when i didn't use it were running in the backround and used a lot lf battery. When i forces closed it the problem disapeard and i don't have an problem anymore. Mighr not fix your device, as i don't know if you are using All Cast. But, good luck.

How does android / smartphone OS determine "battery health"?

So take apps like Ampere for example, they show some battery-related stats, one of which is battery health. I've yet to see any other value than "Healthy". So wondering how does the app / system determine the battery to be in good shape or not? Does it calculate the current maximum charge the battery can hold and compare to maximum, something like 2970mAh / 3000mAh can be considered healthy? Does it use the voltage value? Does it just use the temperature?
To provide context, my Note 5 is feeling like the battery has gone bad, I'm getting very limited screen on time even with light usage. Ampere and similar apps still show my battery as "Healthy", so I don't know if it's just a bogus stat or something scientific and can be trusted (which means my problem lies in something software-related).
Thanks for any input!
