My charger doesn't go in all the way. I see something white, do you have it too? - Moto G Power Questions & Answers

As title says. Inside of Port on the side where screen is, I see something white inside (idk it looks like isolation maybe lol), do you have it too? I am guessing it is what got inside and is blocking port.

[Q] circular spot on the screen

i just bought my galaxy s2 today , but i noticed a strange circular spot on the lower right side of the screen, it is visible in gray or other dark background and is not affected by the brightness settings. should i get it replaced
Hard to be certain without a photo, but it sounds like a mark from the suction cup used to attach the screen - a few people have reported this, unfortunately. There are photos somewhere in the forum, can't seem to find them at the mo...
If so, yes - return it immediately.
i cant post a pic because im a new member, but thanks for the rep

sai4u - From another thread, suction mark in top right. Look like yours?
yes, i have the exact same problem
Shame. I'd return it, definitely.
Same issue, white circle in the lower right side of the screen, size of a coin, visible only on a grey background, just like the yellow left side issue. Doesn't bother me in real life usage, but still...
il get it replaced immediately, many thanks for the reply

I too have this same problem unfortunately, I asked for replacement but currently phones out of stock here, Waiting for new stock Impatiently.
Was it easy for u to get it replaced ?
my friend got it. hopefully she can get a new one.
Mine is not this prominent though, I dont see it on such dark backgrounds...God knows how many pieces have it, and the fate of replaced piece.
Could be a remnant from production process and oleophobic coating. Glass parts are mostly transported by suction cups and this might leave this "mark" ...........
i also have a light spot on my phone which appears on gray or slightly dark backgrounds. it's on the left side. it does not appear to be the same thing as the one on previous pictures. it's as small as a dot which can be made by a marker.

Maybe you are talking about the white spot in default internet browser. It is located in the left lower corner. It is normal and it's there for hardware acceleration. Check to see if you have dead pixels, if the white spot only appears in default browser than your phone is ok.
mine appears all the time (provided that the background colors are gray and of the same shade). also, the spot is on the top-middle portion (portrait mode) of the phone. example, it reading SMS conversations, background is gray right? i can see the light spot there. i would post a picture but i'm still new to the forum.
Hi.
Mine have that exact circle too =/ .
So, you say it is not burn in ? i was thinking maybe that was because the weather widget sun.

It would be possible for sure, but would be also a big mistake.
It's a hardware issue, not a dust one.

lower microphone covered by sth in the case

hey everybody!
just noticed that my lower microphone is covered by sth from inside the case. it looks similar to the attached photo, but my microphone is even more covered from this white thing inside as seen on the photo. the black hole seems so be nearly outside. the other micro on top is centered right.
is anybody of you experiencing the same?
could be relevant for my acoustics probs.
thanks!
no ones able to check his own s2 and tell me if he look at the same thing!?

[Q] EVO 4G LTE liquid damage indicator location?

OK, my phone stopped booting up. I know that I'm gonna get flamed for this but after looking through some threads regarding circuitry and condensation I want to see if any of this has to do with me listening to music while in the shower, and possible "water damage" to the phone, or if it's another issue. I've looked and looked and looked and still can't find the LDI (Liquid Damage Indicator), and don't want to take my phone to Sprint and look like a idiot lol. Anyone know anything on this? The only place that looks anywhere a LDI is on the inside of the removable upper cover around the camera shroud. It appears to be red paint to me but looks about the color that a activated LDI looks like. Anyone know anything on this? Phone isn't rooted, got it maybe 2 weeks ago, haven't done a teardown on it because I dont want to break those black stickers over the screws and end up having Sprint be a PITA about it. Any help guys?

does the charging light come on?
Well that red is on my inside cover too and i for sure don't have water damage so you can rule that out.
Did you try holding the power button in for a long time...like 30 seconds?
Is it under the small door at the bottom that hides the speaker?
it could be under the bottom non-removable cover, near the battery...
yeah tried all of that, it blinks like when you have a message but orange. and when you hold the power button it doesnt do ****. But got it resolved, took it to the sprint store and it was pretty conclusive that my phone is f--ked up so they swapped me out for a new one. But that still does make me wonder why they didn't put a LDI in plain view

[Q] I'm replacing my screen - something's missing?

Hi,
In the attached picture you can see my old screen on the right and my new screen on the left. I'm following a youtube tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65pvAINg2ME&feature=g-hist) and I got to this part.
The old screen has this golden strip on the top right, while the new screen front doesn't have this. There's also a cable coming from the screen through frame and on my original screen it's linked to that golden strip. The left screen also has this cable (it's facing towards the camera, so hard to see) but there's nothing I can link it to. (There is a 'metal' strip where the golden strip should be, but the texture is completely different)
- What is that cable for?
- Should I try to remove the golden strip
- Will the metal be enough to conduct the data?
Thanks!

thats more of related to the USB flex Board thing, like a conduit to the netwrk antenna and the metal strip with the new one is enough to do the wrk
Thanks!
I've put it back together and everything seems to be working.

[Q] Sounds like something is loose inside...

Anyone hear what sounds like something moving around when they shake their phone from side to side. I don't know that I've heard it previously but it's disconcerting. It's not completely loose. Sounds more like something that has room to move around. I've removed the SIM card and cradle but still hear the sound. I've got mine early with the T-Mobile order and I just want to make sure I don't need to get it replaced. Thanks.
UPDATE: I found the cause in another thread. Looks like the image stabilization mechanism flops around when not in use. Just turning on the camera made it go away. The more you know! http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...ose-inside-t3072083/post59894172#post59894172
It's the ois I believe for the camera
