Password Locked VIVO Y69 not able to detected by PC ,despite installing drivers. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Found a password locked device : VIVO Y69. MTK6750. i tried to unlock it using Tools such as MRT, Miracle box and others but was Unsuccessful. the problem is that , my PC/Laptop was unable to detect it.... yes, i have already installed all the necessary MTK drivers, such as DA USB, Vcom , Preloader and so on .....
well, when i connect the device to the USB ports, it shows the "Charged only" sign to the battery icon on the device without making a sound or detecting it , not in the Device Manager.
i think the owner puts the device to "Charged only option"...
Any idea to make it detect, i mean like the Test Point or something.
Thank you all..
K4bini.

You found that phone?
If it's not yours you should find the owner instead of trying to unlock the phone.
Just imagine if this happened to you.
If you are doing the right thing, try to see if the owner put some of his information to the emergency information of the device.
When the phone is on the lockscreen
1. Swipe up.
2. Click "EMERGENCY" on the bottom.
3. Double tap "EMERGENCY INFORMATION"
And you should see if the owner put anything in there.
This processes might be different depending on the custom OEM skin.
Click to collapse
there's no emergency information on the device, and yes , the process of accessing emergency information varies on devices... besides, i search and research the internet, and no one have experienced what i had. i will try and figured out myself and post a story on xda once successful.

Need help for rooting, how to enable USB ADB Access

When I connect the phone (SCH-I545, verizon) to the PC, I see two choices shown under the pulldown menu: Connect as Media Device (MTP), or Camera (PTP). And the MTP choice is checked automatically.
I believe my phone has the latest OTA update. And I have turned on the Developer Option, check the "USB Debugging".
Did I miss anything? Please help.

Are the drivers installed?
When you plugged in your phone, did the permission prompt for ADB appear?
What devices show up in the Windows device manager? (Windows/Break, then device manager.) You should see a "Samsung Android ADB Interface" appear if all is correct.
Yes, the drivers are installed. I first installed the samsung usb driver, I installed the kies package given I don't see the USB debugging permission message. Just tried the same thing in ubuntu, same result.
I must have missed something.... Just don't know what it is ....
The phone's developer option is on and debugging is checked,
On PC side the driver is installed. In fact, when I tested this in ubuntu, I ran "adb devices", it saw the phone ....

The message showed up after I toggled between those two choices. It was done in ubuntu. Thanks very much.

The "this device is not supported" message means that your phone (m0? What's that?) is patched by the vendor to fix the flaw that Saferoot uses to root it.
You'll have to find another tool to root your phone.
Thank you!

Okei! Thank you for your help. It is a Galaxy SIII.
Just managed to update to Android 4.3 Jellybean at the same time as I changed mobile network operator. Mobile was locked and the NCK code from operator didn't work. Probably need the MCK (Defreeze) code to unlock which operator doesn't have access to. So no mobile phone for me atm.
I used VRoot and used a change-to-SuperSu guide and it worked. Couldn't find anyway to remove the network lock though..
Couldn't post the links on how I rooted and changed to SuperSu since I'm a n00b at this site.
And sorry for maybe posting this in wrong thread!
Best regards

Huawei Ascend G300 Won't connect to the computer.

Hi everyone, i want your help with an small problem that i have that's been bothering me for quite a while now. As the title says, my phone will not connect via usb to my computer, no matter what i do. There are some interesting things you should know about:
-It does work with my cousin's phone, i don't know what the exact model is, but he can connect his phone in mass storage mode without any problem.
-It does work with another computer.
-I've used 2 different cables and when i had the luck of the pc finally recognising it, it says that the driver couldn't be installed. When i click on details, it says "unknown device" (but my phone is perfectly operational, i've had this kind of problem before with that unknown device thing, but it was with soft/hard bricked phones).
-I've installed Huawei drivers and still nothing works.
Neither my phone lets me hit the option to enable mass storage mode nor the computer makes a single sound when the device is connected, the phone does charge, but nothing more than that.

Maybe check system settings within phone. There should be an option to enable media sharing via USB. Or be sure you've installed correct drivers. On Windows I assume.

Android Stuck in Charging only mode - No connection to computer

Hello Everyone
I am putting my problem in this general section with the hope to ask for help to more people compared to the Mate 8 section where not a lot of people go these days.
Since a while I am not able to connect my phone to a laptop. If I connect it to a laptop it just starts charging but nothing else. I have tried everything like:
Changing Cables (tried more than 5. I dont have the original anymore)
Changing Laptops
Changing the USB port of the phone itself
Updating Drivers
Installing Hisuite (current version 5.0.3.300)
Restore phone to factory settings
Complete formatting
Updating to the latest version (Current version Nxt-L29C185B582)
Changing the USB debugging/ Connection (MTP/PTP/etc)
And what not
The problem is, it doesnt get detected on the computer and cant connect to adb as well. All I want is to unlock bootloader and Install TWRP and Magisk. I have the unlock bootloader code but no way to unlock it since I cant connect.
Can anyone help me in fixing this stupid problem ? It is getting frustrating. If there is a hardware issue, what part needs to be replaced? Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the Settings of your phone---> About phone----> Build number tap this 7 to 8 times-----> Developers option is enabled----> back to settings ----> go to developers option ----> enable USB debugging.
When you connect to the phone to the laptop you will find an icon on top of the screen of your phone with a USB mark "like a trident", pull down the top menu and find the USB connection tab, (like changing the sim card if you intend to call through a specific card) e.g quoted, double tap the USB tab to obtain options ---> 3 options 1) MTP 2)PTP 3) USB charging only----> select the first option MTP (Media transfer protocol).
Now connect to the laptop you will find exclamation marks in the device manager of your laptop. Load the appropriate drivers on your computer and viola! this will establish connection with the device you are having. if you find difficulty in installing USB drivers, search the thread "Attempt to load USB drivers for Micromax E484 on win XP is a fiasco" in this forum. What is the model and OS version of the device and the model and OS version of the computer? According to your symptoms your phone appears to be in option 3) USB charging only. The phone will not be detected by your laptop or the like(Computer) in this mode. Merely remains in a charging state. Are you certain the option 1) is picked MTP? If the phone is not detected there appears to be some hardware failure, try another USB port to connect to the laptop. if all else fail a service technician will pinpoint the fault. It may perhaps be a data transmission failure of the devices port to the interior of the phone. This is merely an assumption.
best remedy would be a service technician.
Hope this helps

I have tried changing the usb charging only to all possible options but it still is the same. I tested in Linux and when I connect the phone nothing shows up in the logs. It's like it's not being connected . I have tried changing the usb port itself from the phone but it remained the same.. can the flex cable be a problem ? Mate series was never launched in India so I don't have any help from the service centre. I have to order the spare from eBay.com so there is no qualified technician who can help.. that's why I have to fix it myself somehow..
Thank you for your help

I quite doubt the cable will be the culprit as your device charges the battery while in an established connection with the laptop. As you state the phone USB port was replaced, it could be a some glitch before the USB port in the device where there is an interruption in the data transmission signal that cannot be detected by your laptop.
Could you boot your device, computer and connect the two and take a snapshot of your device (whilst connected to the laptop) and paste the same in the forum?
Perhaps visual cue could be better at dealing such mishaps.

Your USB trident icon is not indicated on the device, If you were to receive power from the laptop the trident would be displayed on top of the screen, even for charging the battery. The power source for your device appears to from other than the laptop.
I have pasted my device after connecting to the computer and the second icon from the top left is the USB Trident icon indicating connection with my laptop. Have taken the snapshot of the menu that I was describing .
I strongly feel you have a hardware failure rather than a simple fix and would require the help of a technician (ordinary if professional is unavailable). Am skeptic you could mend that on your own unless you are proficient in electronics. This mishap is not due to flashing wrongly too, unless you have changed the stock ROM with some custom ROM which has some bug that affect the USB alone.
Take the assistance of a technician whether professional or less is my counsel
Thank you

I did flash a different rom .. but then back to stock recently.
I can do basic electronics but the if the problem lies in Mobo .. then nothing can be done .. as I don't have the spares available in India. But I would hate to lose this phone as it was a perfect fit for my needs

Then the question of wrong flash or ROM issue does not arise

If you do not have spares is best left alone rather than tampering with it and rendering the device useless if any untoward incidents tends to occur.
But I would hate to lose this phone as it was a perfect fit for my needs
Send to the vendor directly if you have warranty for the device stating its complaints or request your relative or friends who live in the area where you bought your phone to hand it to the vendor or service technician and bear its expenses

Is there a way to unlock bootloader somehow without connecting to usb ? That would also solve the purpose.. I want to root it for some of the things to work and with the latest upgrade to latest version I lost the unlocked bootloader and root.. if somehow I can unlock and root .. I should be fine without the usb connection to computer.. but I have ran out of ways
Does Kingroot work for you?
I mean did u try it or u just want magisk?
If u didn't, kingroot may be able to root ur device and unlock ur bootloader, then u can flash TWRP using rasher.. & make a backup BTW...
After that, try using the adb sideload in TWRP to test ur connection with ur computer.
TWRP for ur device : (q.gs/DxuAH)
There is a way to unlock bootloader without USB via developers option.
Go to settings-----> About phone-----> Build number ( Tap this option around 7 or 8 times) till developers option is enabled------> go back to settings-----> developers option-----> OEM unlock option (Enable this option) to unlock the bootloader.

There is no FRP unlock, to circumvent FRP you need to factory reset or flash your firmware. The above quotation was to unlock the boot loader as you cannot access through your computer. Your sole option to unlock boot loader was through the above directions.
Moreover, King root application never ask for boot loader to be unlocked. Although a little unstable this is the initial program to root any device. Once you have the TWRP setup then you could switch to Super Su etc. according to your preference.
Could you paste your developers option snapshot here...

Question Having a hard time rooting my Motorola Moto G Power (2021)

So I have been trying to root my Moto G Power 2021 all day. I have been following the guide to using Magisk the non-twrp way, and I keep hitting the same snag over and over again. So far, I have successfully unlocked the bootloader, downloaded and installed the latest Magisk apk (Magisk25.2.apk) form the github page, and downloaded and installed the official Rescue and Smart Assistance (LMSA) on my computer. The problem that I am having is that whenever I plug my phone into my computer while I have RSA open, it asks me to authorize the computer to use it, but nothing opens on my phone to give me that option.
Before I am asked, yes I have Developer tools unlocked, the OEM is unlocked already (As I said above), and I have made sure that USB Debugging was allowed.
Please, tell me where I'm going wrong with this if anywhere?
The only other information I can think to add is that my phone IS running Android 11, but I'm unsure if that matters as I have seen other guides that explain how to root on Android 11.
Thanks in advance for any information that can be given!

Yes I did. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it when you linked it in case I didn't have it installed correctly, and that still did not work.
The below image is what I keep getting when I attempt to connect to RSA with my phone, and nothing at all like that shows up on my phone to verify.
Had you previously authorized the phone on that PC, i.e., using adb, etc? If so, you may not have to authorize it again. Have you actually tried to do anything with RSA or just wondered why the authorization notification doesn't show on your phone? Does the USB debugging pop-up show in the status bar on your phone when you're connected? If so, you're connected and were already authorized.
Other than that, your antivirus/firewall software may be blocking the connection and you'll have to allow the app to connect to the phone there. May also want to check that your USB cord isn't the issue by trying another one with data capabilities.
Please see the N.B. in my signature below.
Thanks! I'll give that a shot and update when I've got a chance. I don't believe it's the USB cable since it's the cable that came with the phone, so I'll try the antivirus/firewall software side of things first.
Small edit:
I forgot to actually answer your question before. No, I hadn't already authorized this computer, as this is actually a pretty new computer (Only a few months old at this point). The USB debugging shows up at the top of my phone yes, but RSA won't do anything unless I authorize it, which gives me conflicting impressions that the phone seems to think it's verified the computer, but the computer and program don't see the verification.

i tried to install a driver but i don't think i found the good one , do you have any link or what i should look for exactly ?
The latest version of SmartSwitch should have it unless Samsung didn't update it
Another reason I never upgrade firmware...
well it doesn't work hahaha even a thing to re install the driver in smart switch but it doesn't work , yay
In device management, scan for new drives command, can you see it then?
Check Event Viewer for error messages too.
mhhh scanning for hardware change does nothing and i don't see anything about my device manager or usb for in event viewer :/

What has the fact you can't boot phone into EDL-mode to do with default Windows 11 OS USB- driver ( what is USB Generic Parent Driver - Usbccgp.sys )?
If suitable ADB-driver is installed on PC then you can boot the phone into EDL-mode ( AKA Download mode ).
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot edl
FYI:
Please keep in mind that Windows app Odin only works flawlessly when phone is booted in the EDL.
Latest VersionOdin v3.14.4Release Year2022
NOTE:
Always install and use the USB drivers for Android as provided by OEM: Both ODIN and Samsung USB drivers are 100% compatible with any Samsung smartphone or tablet.

Think back to when this started. What was added or changed? You can still do a factory reset from Settings. The new Samsung's are fubar... I don't need any external connection to invoke the boot menu on my N10+'s.
Another reason not to use Samsung again.
