Twrp backup works if you have a backup which includes persist backup too.
If not then then you have to find the persist.img and flash it through fastboot

what is your problems?
I only need the TWRP backup
I think there is no twrp backup zip uploaded by someone...btw system & boot backup is a huge size for an upload
Please can you upload for me? Please
There's no point to share TWRP backup, It's useless for others. What's your problem btw? You Flash stock miui rom by MiFlash (+Clean all option) for start!
Can you share via drobox?
Download this fastboot rom (Kenzo, 8.1.6.0 Global Stable) : http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=kenzo_global&b=F&r=global&n=
And flash it, Use this guide: http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html

Sensor + camera issue..need persist.img urgently

After flashing via twrp I was shown /persist error invalid argument . After doing bit of Google I got To know we need to flash persist.img via twrp to get back my camera and sensor working.
When I flash my twrp nandroid backup of old rom everything works..but when I get back to oos3.1.4 error pops.. rom gets booted everything works apart from sensor and camera.
Everytime I do clean flash so plz don't ask me that..

I had the same problem like you and yet can't get back to OOS 3.1.4
That's why I am staying on OOS 2.2.3 forever ... well until I can find a fix...
If you really only need persist.img you can find it in the Mega Unbrick Guides Files although I think this one only works with OOS 2.2.3
Here's the persist.img file from my last nandroid backup. Latest bootloader and all that. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3KASUh3N9vVbXphYWRGS2xjNVk
It's not an IMG file but you should be able to put it in a TWRP folder and "restore" it.
Actually i solved my problm in same way.. accidently found persist.img in onplus mini tool and everything went smooth..now no issues in any rom.

Well instead of using the Yureka persist.img I am supposed to use the persist.img from the Unbrick Guide, right?
Obviously we have to use files specific fr our device..so download unbrick mini tool package..use that persist.img and flash according to guide mentioned over there....

I've had this sensors problem in my redmi note 4 device, i flashed the fix & it solved all but created a new problem, i can't go back to stock rom.
The "persist.img" file in this fix belongs to someone else RN4 phone. Now I'm stuck with his mi account in my device. It needs his password to unlock. Ur only option is to use custom roms
You can find the persist.img file inside the fastboot zip from here.
It isn't flashed by default with Mi Flash but it's there.

Persist.img file comes with fastboot zip is around 5mb, but actual file size is more than 32mb, i flashed manually the smaller one and phone doesn't boot, keeps restarting in boot logo. I had to flash this sensor fix again to unbrick.

OK bro thanks and what if I flash the persist.IMG from the fastboot rom and not from some others mobile??
Persist.img file in fastboot rom is low in size, below 5mb, if you flash it, you get bootloop. Actual size around 32mb. U can see it in the fix file.
The partition on the phone is 32 MB. If the persist.img file is only 5 MB it could mean that the data inside the partition is only 5 MB, it doesn't have to be 32 MB.
Take the recovery partition for example, it's bigger than the size of the TWRP .img file, but it doesn't mean that TWRP file is corrupted.
However, to flash persist partition you need the unlocked bootloader and a modified fastboot.exe version that can restart the phone in EDL mode, and from there you can flash every partition with MiFlash.
Of course, data size of Persist.img partition maybe only 5mb, but after flashing the that comes with fastboot rom, all i got is an infinite bootloop. Even miflash doesn't flash this partition, I've seen it in miflash log file.
I tried to flash the persist image, but it simply refuse to do it, even with MiFlash (you can enable the flashing of persist.img by modifying the .bat file that MiFlash will use to flash).
As I write on my post above, to flash persist.img you need to be in EDL mode, but I didn't tried it personally, so I don't know if it will cause bootloop even this way (but I read of people resolving problems this way, so I don't think it will do harm).

Mate 10 Lite Oreo Bricked

Guys I really need help!
After trying to install Xposed in my Mate 10 Lite just updated to Oreo this started to bootloop.
I had rooted the device with Magisk 16.0 and the model was RNE-L21C432
I have the bootloder unlocked and can access fastboot, unfortunately I do not have a backup done via TWRP.
I also have only 2 images of TWRP
This one:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/9-lite/how-to/honor-9-lite-twrp-3-2-1-0-available-t3771358
but once started reboots the system 1 minute later without me touching anything
And I also have the TWRP distributed in this guide: https://ministryofsolutions.com/2018/05/root-huawei-mate-10-lite-oreo.html
Now if I start the phone goes into bootloop and does not boot.
What can I do?
Sorry for bad english, is Google Translate

you must download Miui stock rom "Fastboot type not recovery type"
Then use Mi flash Tool latest to flash fastboot rom.
1. Download this rom "Fastboot 4.7 GB" from here :

xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
2. Download Mi flash Tool:
https://www.xiaomiflash.com/downloads/MiFlash20181115.zip
Unzip password: xiaomiflash.com
3. Extract fastboot rom file .tgz to "C" disk then extract one more time the .zip file in same location "C://" then you get folder with rom build number and name.
4. Open Mi flash Tool , select Rom folder that we had extracted it.
5. Boot to fastboot mode & Connect your device.
6. Hit refresh so you will find your device name.
7. Check erase all data box without lock!
8. Click flash and wait till your device boot to MIUI.

For now are you still just trying to fill in the missing file, or have you already re-flashed the Miui ROM using MiFlash?
EDIT:
Transferring persist.img from the other phone is not a good idea. Read here (used for Xiaomi Mi A1).

It's true. Messing with persist data is never a good idea. As who someone lost their persist in anyway, has no other chance to resurrect the same state, they have no other choice.
Stock ROM Miui no longer contains persist.img in its standalone form. In which file is it now included?
Won't copying also change the IMEI?
