I just found out that the cable that comes in the box is not Supervooc??!! - OPPO Find X2 Pro Guides, News, & Discussion

Maybe this is already known so forgive me....
After speaking with official UK support today, they told me this:
I am sorry for the misunderstanding, sir. I have checked and unfortunately the Find X2 Pro does not come with the SuperVOOC cable, only with the SuperVOOC Adapter.
It wont charge at the maximum capacity of 65W, but it still charges a lot faster than a normal Charger.

And:
It won't charge at 50W capacity, but not at the 30W capacity of the normal charger either. Somewhere in between, we do not have the exact numbers.

And they sent me this link

This sounds like bullsh*t to me. First they sell you the expensive phone with the amazing new 65W Supervooc charger, and they gave you a non supervooc cable?? What's the point of that? A supervooc cable its just £3 more expensive, why wont they include the cable when you are paying 1000£?
But it seems to charge like they advised supervooc speed (full charged in around 30-40 minutes)
So I was wondering if the supervooc cable is a vooc cable marketed differently (so a scam...)

BTW I can find out soon because last weekend I ordered a Supervooc cable from the official store it should arrive any day now, so I can compare charging with the cable that comes with the phone and this supervooc cable...

Got this after a lot of persistent back and forth with customer services. Apparently the superVOOC cable allows VOOC phones to charge at faster speeds

But if it charges in under 40 minutes, what's the problem? I think 38 minutes was what most get from empty to full - if you're getting around that then it's working properly. Also, when you charge do you get SuperVooc pop up on the screen? I'm super happy with the charge speed, although don't use the fast charging often as it's not good for the battery.

The problem is that if we pay for a top speed technology charger why do we get with it a not so top cable that downgrades that technology. But if the cable doesnt matter then maybe they are lying about supervooc vs vooc cable. I didnt really count the time, but I will during this week
Btw, is it proven that fast charging is not good for this battery?
Because everyone I spoke with from OPPO recommended me not to use anything else than vooc charger and cable

I've had 4 of these phones, one UK, one EU and 2 Chinese models (don't ask ). All appeared to have the same cable and charged in about 40 minutes. They all had quite thick charging cables and all said "SuperVooc" on the lock screen when used.
As for battery health and fast charging....look here:
Basically, the faster you charge a battery, the more heat is generated. Heat is not good for batteries, hence why you shouldn't charge and use at the same time.
ColorOS 11 has a new setting to slow down battery charging at night to optimise battery life, so they are kind of confirming all this....

I think the phone charges at 50W but the adapter can achieve 65W.. But I'm happy.. It charges in 38mins..

The issue with fast charging isn't necessarily the fast charging it's more the fact people leave their phones on charge over night which is really bad for your battery. Fast charge your battery when its low and then take it off when it's got sufficient charge for your needs, and repeat.
I charge mine before bed and then remove if it needs it and got plenty of life for the next day.
The other thing to remember is the 65w quoted speed is only present at early stages of charging when the battery is at its lowest and will gradually get reduced as it fills to protect the battery.
Another thing is the 65w is split between two batteries so is no worse than a single regular battery and regular charger. Fast charger is safer in the sense that people shouldn't need to leave their phones on charge over night

Yeah I think that this new option to control the overnight charging doesnt have to do anything with fast charging.
And man, having the supervooc charger why would someone leave the phone charging at night.

Exactly why people at oppo are telling you to utilize the superVOOC and not use a lower speed charger, that should hopefully stop you needing to charge your phone through the night and do damage to your batteries

So as I said in the accessories post regarding differences between supervooc cable and vooc cable... they seem to be the same thing. Exactly the same charging times using a 65W supervooc charger.
From OPPO customer support, they say these cables are different, and they sell them at different price...
So the reason the Find X2 Pro comes with a VOOC cable its probably because the vooc cable and the supervooc cable are the SAME thing.
What a joke.

Despite what i said in my earlier post, I've realised that the EU version I have did actually come with a different charge cable to the one I have on my Chinese X2 pro.
The SuperVooc 2.0 charger has a yellow USB slot and so does the SuperVooc cable that came with my Chinese version.. But my EU version doesn't say SuperVooc on the cable and has red plastic in the USB plug (not yellow).
With the EU cable I also don't get SuperVooc appear on the lock screen and the charging definitely isn't as fast.
Now my EU version was used from eBay so it's possible it hasn't got the original cable supplied by Oppo. I've ordered a SuperVooc cable from Oppo today, the one that supports 65W charging.
Does anyone else have this same cable? So white with red internal bits on the plug, opposed to white with yellow bits?

I've just checked mine (UK) and it's a white cable with yellow internals. It shows SuperVooc when I charge.

Hmm, mine is a Europe model, not UK. SuperVooc definitely worked on the UK model which I bought from Amazon though (sold a while back). Perhaps my EU model just didn't come with the original cable.

Agreed, cable that comes with UK version it doesnt say supervooc, and according to OPPO is indeed vooc, but it has the same slot that the supervooc, and charges at the same speed.

I have an EU version that charges at SuperVOOC 2.0 out of the box. Strange

Its not weird, the cable doesnt matter if its vooc or supervooc since are both the same, what matters is that the charger is supervooc 2.0. And the phones comes with that type of charger and vooc cable everywhere according to OPPO.
klanbo78 said that hes EU one was used from Ebay, so perhaps he didnt get the original cable from the box as he also said

I bought mine at Orange in France and it says SuperVOOC 2.0 while charging and the inside of the cable's plug is yellow.

Yes, the point here is that using the same supervooc charger but with a vooc cable you would get the same results, even when in the OPPO store they sell them at different price and from OPPO customer service they claim cables are different.

Cables are named VOOC, the one that came in my EU model box (bought new from Orange) is the same as the one bought from Aliexpress (there is no way to buy Oppo cable in Europe other than import), the only difference is the color actually, both perform exactly identically

I dont know about your country, but in the UK the Oppo official store sells both cables (no import) at different prices, I got a Super Vooc one to compare, usb port is also orange but it says Super Vooc, but yes both cables charge at the same speed with a Super Vooc charger, so its bull****

Portable charger with charging from USB

Is there any kind of portable charger for HTC touch pro 2 battery which can charge battery via USB?
For example to charge battery from computer (like phone charges the battery).

But I am not talking about cradle chargers which can accommodate battery and phone at the same time.
and also not these chargers, they just support the USB as an output not as input!
So with this charger you can charge battery and phone only with AC power.
OK, gotta ask
Why you want this? You can charge the phone directly with a USB to USB-mini cable, and if you have a laptop and use it for any length of time you will plug it in (so one of the cheap plug in chargers would work for this purpose).
For the above reasons I don't think anyone has made a device such as you describe.

Thanks for reply.
I want this kind of charger to charge batteries with some cheap and non-reliable sources during traveling.
Like:
If I charge mobile pone directly I am afraid that the phone will be danaged.
whats wrong with a cradle charger for that? just because it has the dock for the phone doesnt mean you have to use it, and you can get the cradles for cheap on ebay, and ive never seen one just for charging batteries

OK, you must be going to some rough country where there may not be power, correct? I think you may be stuck with simply powering the phone via the USB cable. So long as your manual hand crank only puts out the standard USB voltage, you should be fine.
He didn't want the charger...he's using the hard crank
if you have a multimeter you can check the voltage of the hand crank to determine if its safe to charge the phone directly

Nice diagram you drew out that CLEARLY spells out what you are looking for. Not sure how other people could not understand what you are looking for, as that's something I require for any new phone platform I use. The ability to charge a spare battery from USB power (5v, 500ma+) for when you are somewhere you need to swap batteries and keep the spare charged at all times, etc.
So to answer the OPs original inquiry:
1. HTC OEM spare battery charger, model "HTC BC S300". Uses USB power to charge the spare battery as it has no direct AC input.
2. Seidio's charger that allows for AC or USB powered charging of a spare battery, model "BD3-BCSI3HTP2-BK"
This one is pretty decent as you have two options to power the charger. I can confirm it works either way. The other benefit is you can just replace the charging plate to support other battery types. I bring this charger on any extended trip I go on and keep one in my luggage at all times.
You'll have to google for the model numbers I put in quotes as I do not have enough posts to include URLs in my replies yet. The first hit you get on google should show the relevant info.
As for how you obtain your USB power safely, that's a separate issue that you are on your own.

From the website it appears the HTC BC S300 is for the Touch Diamond or Touch Pro.
http://www.mobihand.com/productaccessories.asp?id=29936&n=HTC-External-Battery-Charger-(BC-S300)
However, the other model should work, but the picture indicates that one would have to buy a male-to-male USB cable rather than the normal A to B cable for it to charge. I think this model would be the one to use.

35 dollars is pretty steep for that IMO
and for the record, i understood what he wants, i was just curios why the combo dock+battery charger was unacceptable, since it has a USB powered battery charger (at least the one i got did, 25 dollars shipped on ebay, even came with a second battery, much better than the 35 for the OEM battery charger)

Oops, I just edited the post you quote. That one was for the original Touch Pro, NOT the TP2.
He wants one that will charge FROM the USB port, evidently so that he can use a portable USB hand-powered generator to charge the batteries. The ones on E-bay will output USB power, but not charge a battery FROM the USB power.
Are you saying you found an e-bay model that charges from the USB? Can you post a link?

No worries.
The Touch Diamond and Pro use the same default 1500mah battery the TP2's do. So the HTC OEM spare battery charger would work fine. That's one thing I love about HTC is they try to maintain the same type of batteries in most of their model line ups. Even their new Sprint EVO phone uses the same battery, nice!
That Seidio product link you listed is the same as the model number I posted. Good point on the cable. You would need a male to male type A USB cable to run from USB power. I carry various USB adapter plugs when I use it.
As for defaultdotxbe's post, seems you have the same concerns... he/she may have overlooked that the OP wanted a charger that runs off USB power. I have yet to see any of the combo docks on fleabay run strictly off USB vs providing USB power.

its actually a 10 cent capacitor (or battery) that makes any charger reliable, like my 2 dollar car charger
like this one for example: http://inspectusa.com/emergency-han...r-vzl3883-with-flashlight-compass-p-1109.html
the cranking isnt putting voltage over the USB directly, it charges a button cell battery which in turn charges the phone, so it works like a UPS for a computer system and regulates the voltage going to the phone, so its safe to charge directly (im actually thinking of buying that one myself, lol)
@stevedebi
the only cradle ive ever used was for my old sprint mogul and it charged the battery through USB so i assumed all cradles worked this way
defaultdotxbe
I found cheaper solution:
it applies USB power directly on moving pins to charge battery.
As usb voltage is compatible for HTC TP2 battery charging it will work as portable usb charger.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Universal-Mini-...ultDomain_0&hash=item19bdeabe0e#ht_3931wt_911
it costs just $1.15

Transformer Prime AC charger safe? My stock one is not good...

Hi!
I noticed my phone takes a long time to charge and some times when using it while charging I will get a message about the phone being discharging as the power supplied was not enough or something along those lines.
I downloaded the battery status widget and noticed that at best, the charger goes to about 850 but for that I have to keep moving it as it seems some where inside the ac adapter and the USA adapter plug connected to it, something is going wrong.
I tried the original Sony usb cable and a different one as well.
Either way, when I move the AC Adapter parts connected to the wall, the charge changes and go crazy on the Batter Status widget , sometimes even shows like not even plugged any more :/
So I thought about trying my Transformer prime charger or I can try ordering another one that you guys may recommend.
Thanks!
Here is a pic of the specs on that adapter.
Or maybe I can use a Samsung one like this?
Samsung Charger 2A
Although the above seems to be a fake...so maybe just go with a sony one?

Looks like your Asus charger is 1.2A (1200mAh), so it's not the beefiest one out there. I'm not sure what the Sony one is, but i think it's 1.5A. Mine outputs around 800 - 1300mAh on the magnetic charger, and it uses around 2 hours to charge it from 0-100%. I usually charge it when i go to bed, but i'm always using it when it's charging in the dock, like wathcing YouTube videos and TV shows. I have never gotten a notification that says it's being discharged while i charge.
Does it get hot when it charges? (spoiler: it shouldn't do that)
I would buy a new - genuine, Sony charger. The thing is, if you buy or use a different charger and your battery goes to ****s, you can wave goodbye to your warranty. Also, since the battery isn't replacable you should treat it like your own son.
But let me summon @hamdogg for you. He knows a lot more about batteries than i do. I guess he'll show up in a minute or 12 hours. Hard to tell But he's on his way.

hahahahah, you see that Asus charger confuses me because it says but then below it also says Output 5V=2A or 15V=1.2 I dont want to fry my phone!
So you get from 800 to 1300 using the Dk30?
Also, what is the model of your Sony charger. I want to try finding one with USA plug already so maybe that Sony one is the best option for me even though I would like to start going with Magnetic charger myself OR charging an external battery (if I get one) to avoid using the USB port too much.
I got the DK30 bundled with the phone. The charger model is EP880 and it outputs 1500mAh. It only says Sony on the dock itself.

Still trying to decide on that 4500mAh case/battery too!

Sorry have been away for a few days...
amps are fine no matter what the range. So 1.5 right up to 4.0 amps will not damage your device.
Volts on the other hand can damage your device. Don't go above 6v.
You should be able to get 5.v and 2.0 amps out of a wall charger, if not then its not been made properly, or not efficiently
[I have a 2.1amp unit and it suits me fine]
The difference is that your device will pull what ever I can up to a maximum, It look like the ultra can only pull 2200 (give or take) out of a charging unit, so any wall charger that states its over 2.5 amps will be a waste.
-So don't pay extra for anything above 2.2amps thinking you'll get faster charging. You wont.

I got a free 5000mhz solar charger unit sent to me to review. I'll make a video for my channel shortly about this unit. Think it retails for $15 USD. Look pretty good, just need to test it on my ultra in a few days.
The thing with battery packs, is that it needs to be 200% larger than the internal battery. So if your Ultra battery is flat, then it charges off the 5000mhz battery pack, that would mean to it wont fully charge the ultra. It will get to 2500mha, and the battery pack will get down to 2500mhz, and then it wont be able to transfer charge. (Unless you can give charge to pack)
So my solar pack can charge my device to 75%, and then continue to charge it while the solar panel charges the pack..
Does that make sense??
There we go

Xiaomi Mi 9 Wireless Charger

Hi, where to buy original Xiaomi Mi 9 Wireless Charger?
Is there a good offer? Maybe with a normal Charger QC4.0?
Thank you

I bought mine from AliExpress.
I too ordered mine from AliExpress - with the 27W wall plug bundle
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ori...381.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.12f44c4dJnoFeC
Question: did you buy the bundle (~30 euros) or just the wireless charger? (~20 euros)
I wonder if I can use the stock 18W charger to power the wireless charger and still get the 20W wireless charging...
Does anyone know if you need a specific power adapter to use the wireless charger?

How do you want to get 20W on the wireless pad using a 18W socket?? If you use the 18W adapter you will just limit the pad to 18w too.
You must buy the bundle (27w power adapter + 20w pad). You can use the 27W adapter directly using usb cable to get full dash charge, or use it on the 20w wireless pad

Because there are watts, amperes and volts.
I just read the product description and saw that:
Input: 12 Vdc, 1.35 A or 20 V, 1.35 A for QuickCharge
Given that the charger that comes with Mi 9 (MDY-08-EI) delivers a max of 12V / 1.5A, the answer to my question is no, it won't work - not at max quick charge capacity at least.
Hard to see point of wireless charger really. Seems to me its better to have a cord, you can use the phone lol . On the wireless charger, phone have to sits there.
I like wireless in the car for example.

Agreed, though I must admit I've grown quite fond on my wireless charging stand next to my bed for night time. Just nice to simply place it down and pick it up, bypassing the need to plug or unplug!
It's the simple things in life eh lol

that's why order with adapter from ali for just 10$ extra. Otherwise it's a turd. Try find standalone QC4+ cable charger for this price locally. Worth it.
Your performance is ok, 18W QC2+ chargers were always used to power up 'fast charge' wireless stations in order to produce such output (10W).
in order to product 20W wireless, you need not 20W adapter, but 27W QC4+ adapter as there's lot of loss.
Wireless chargers (i have all types):
*5W: require basic hispeed charger (rated usually 5Vx2A=10W)
*7.5W: iphone stuff, who cares, requires QC2+ charger (18W)
*10W: requires QC2+ charger (18W)
*15W: forgotten generation (although some Huawei customs exist), remember people were waiting for samsungs to upgrade the speed for years but since S7 nothing happened
*20W: upcoming generation, requires QC4+ charger (27W), hope it will be official qualcomm format so we can use the charger for another devices..so far it's not specified in Qi
If you are thinking to use the pad next to your bed..... Don't.... The fan is making a lot of noise...

I have this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07KG5HDFX?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_pd_title
It's not fast as such, but I really don't mind. I pop it on when going to sleep and wake up fully charged, so fulfills it's purpose! Plus I like the stand more than just a pad (and it's silent )

That's a bummer... I had hoped to replace the good old cabled phone setup besides the pillow...
I'm really interested on buying the wireless car charger, but haven't seem that available at a fair price so far...
I can only find twice of Xiaomi's MSRP...

Made the mistake and bought only the wireless charging pad without the plug and cable :/... is there any cheap and good separate plug and cable available?
Same here, I just bought the pad, I thought it would come with the charger (different from the 27W) or at least I thought I could use the original Mi9 charger
I found only plug deal here. :highfive:

Cheers, kind sir!
has anyone received this yet and tried it out?
saw this but wanted to know how loud it is when in use: youtube.com/watch?v=gvXSAGuS1PU&lc=z22uu3xbswmlthudjacdp431dzjsvg5gjw53i03sje5w03c010c
I'm using the official one since a few days, it's fast, but the phone get hot and a quiet fan is running sometimes.

Original vs Fake Xiaomi 27w charger video comparison

I have seen many people complaining about their 27w Xiaomi charger with problem of not turbo charging, low charging current, overheat, dont work with 20w charger, and etc. And I one of the these guys too. I have ordered two times 27w loosepack charger from chinese online shop and all are fakes. They dont give me consistent turbo charging and dont charge faster than 18w! This pissed me off because there are so many loosepacks out there and the original ones comes from 20w wireless charging bundling box, from mi 9 chinese box, or from 27w charger with box packaging which none of that chinese online shop sell that, all only loosepack which high risk of counterfeits.
Yesterday I bought the 27w charger with box in my local online shop. The seller told me he got the charger from local store in china and bought it to my country. After the charger arrives i tested in and yeah finally I got the original one. I always get "charge turbo" whenever i charge and measurement in ampere App can reach 4800mA which I never get even 3000mA with 18w or that fake 27w one.
So I made a comparison video of those original vs fake charger. I hope it can help you guys who experienced same like me and want to find the original ones. Here is my youtube video link:
https://youtu.be/xx-P6BxZzkU
If you want to see video later, here is also attached the quick glance of my both orig and fake ones. They do have difference in printing quality. And the Ampere screenshot of original charger for reference.
Great. Where can you get the original one?

I got it from someone who bought it from chinese local store.
If you want get the original one, you need to buy charger with official packaging box. Can be a bundle with 20w wireless, or standalone with box like i bought, but its very rare.
Specifically: aliexpress. Search the shop and see the feedbacks. Look for shop which can provide 20w wireless bundling in one box
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32976262381.html
I bought that bundle like 20 days ago, it should aerrive by next week at max.
But i got the "traveler charger" (Xiaomi 1A1C) which comes with a Usb Type C and Normal USB port.
Hopefully it charges correctly i will let u know but for now the bad comments i have read just say that they cannont turbo charge using the type C Port.

Yes 30w if you use the type c connector or at least that what they claim.
But since max supported for our device is 27w it is kinda useless.
But nevertheless I will make sure to post here once I get it and try it
Hi
Can you get turbo charging with the wireless charger powered by the 1a1c 30w charger?

Nope, it wont work. 20W wireless is working only with MDY-10.
It is not true that the original is only in a transparent box. I got it without this transparent box and it works well.
Thanks for the great infos, I'll post again when I get my 27W charger I ordered from AliExpress!

Can your 30w charger turbo charge mi 9?
So, anyone has a link to a reliable and tested seller on aliexpress for the 27w charger?
Here's a post to a review of the original 27 W charger ordered from Alixepress. I saw his review on a German forum too. You can also see a screenshot from the Ampere app. Looks legit. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79569598&postcount=87
Direct link to Alixepress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32974660297.html
You can also check reviews there, several people wrote that Charging Turbo works, you can also see it in their photos.
Personally, I've order the charger from here a week ago: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33001884969.html
Almost every photo review shows Charge Turbo, so hopefully it's true. I just have to wait until it arrives to try it out.
@arddy1, very nice post, a very detailed comparison. Thanks you!
I was convinced that mine was ok because I see "Charging Turbo" on the Mi9 every time I connect the charger. But looking to the charger details it actually matches the fake one you shown in your video. So I decided to perform some more tests.
- I tried to use a USB voltage/current meter but when I use it then I don't get "Charging Turbo" anymore, which means it blocks somehow some communication between the charger and the phone, could it be?
- in Ampere I can only get 2600mA, while using by cheap 2USD QC 3.0 charger I can get 3200mA;
- since this charger is effectively recognized by the phone with "Charging Turbo", I suppose the problem with the fake one is not the "protocol" or compatibility, but the amount of current it can send to the phone, what do you think?
The final test will be to perform a full charge with both my QC 3.0 and this one to see the difference.
My main concern now is: being a fake charger, is it safe to use it? may it damage the phone? What do you think?
I happen to have both with line and without, and both are working the same Both give turbo charge mode with cable and with wireless charger every time, i would never thought that one might be fake if haven't seen this post.
UPD. I checked were from i have ordered the original : https://www.aliexpress.com/store/3470060?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dazyZc0
I have got 27w+cable+20w wireless charger+eu plug, from that store and they came in one package. So i don't know if only the charger will be original. It was shipped ~10 days to Israel.

But did you actually measure the current with Ampere? In my case it seems I also have a fake one but I always get turbo charge mode as well. However when I measured the actual current in Ampere App I can see that the original 18w charger gives more current/power to the phone than the 27w one.
If possible use Ampere to measure if and report the results.

Just measure the charge time in my case if i remember right, 27w charges the phone ~1 hour and charger witch came with phone i didn't measure exactly but i think it something like 1 hour 40 minutes.
As for Ampere it shows ~1500 Ma and ~4.5v on 90% battery level on both chargers and both cables witch came with the chargers. And yes in Israel we have 220-240v power supply, don't remember exactly but i think it's same as Europe. For 5 minutes that i have checked the phone charged to 92% level

You should measure it when charge is still below 50%, after that charging current starts to drop.
It might be the case yours is a very good fake charger
I will also compare charging times with mine and the. post the results in a couple of days.
Hello guys,
I bought and recieved this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33000669695.html
And it shows "Charge Turbo" as well as about 4700-5000ma using Ampere.
Hope it helps

Phone showing charge turbo or not is not determined by the current. I have tested both mode in fake charger, the currents are almost same. It may be determined by that protocol or compatibility thing. When the cable is plugged in and your phone detects that charger is compatible, it will trigger turbo charging mode and allowing more currents to enter inside. But in fake chargers, although it have been already allowed, the charger hardware dont have capability to do that.
I can't test current using usb meter too because it caused the phone cant read the charger compatibility. So in the video i compare currents with app ampere. As long the voltage in app are about same, it can be compared.
About safe or not, i recommend you not to use it. The temperature in fake ones is noticeably higher when charging than the original, even the original has bigger output current.

Usb type c cable capable of hypercharging

Hello ARP2 fellas i am currently in search of a replacement usb-c cable for my 30W charger as the stock one ended up in my dog's menu The official Asus cable (ACAU003) which comes with the 30W charger seems harder to find and even if i managed to spot a couple of them they sell for 20+$, add the shipping fees and it will cost as much as the 30W charger itself Is there anyone around who tried an aftermaket cable capable of 30W Hypercharging? Many usb-c cables from AliExp or Ebay are marketed as 100W ones but not everyone in the comments is happy with the quick charging results on their devices and that's why i am hesitant to buy one. Any help is appreciated.

Try Baseus, usb3.1 to C works great + very good quality, but didnt try their usbC to C yet, its supposed to arrive in around a week so I can give you an update then.
Thanks Vardes, if you will not forget about it jump in and share your thoughts please. I might wait some more until someone else replies. Yeah Baseus and UGreen have a lot of positive reviews, still many people complain about their fast charging results

I would recommend Apples USB-C to USB-C cable. I have been using that since my N10+ and now ROGPHONE 2.
I'm using 2 of these mcdodo cables, 2m each rated 5a.
With the original charger from Asus I must say that the charging is very very fast. And I'm using one to charge my phone in my car, with a 30w small Baseus charger.
They have new cables tho', something with autodisconnect if u check their page but i didn't got them so i don't know how good those are.

got my baseus c to c cable, tested it today with stock charger, it has shown me hypercharge and overall charging time was around 1.5h from 8 to 100%. Overall build quality is great, braided 2m cable - almost identical to Bhl00's one, just different plugs. Here is the cable itself: http://imgur.com/gallery/A5Ee4Yy
