Would it be possible to extract the google music apk that google TV devices use, and if so how would one go about doing it? I'm one of the backers of the ouya and am pretty excited about it, and really want to get it hooked up to my audio rig for music. Is google music programmed so it's the same apk for all devices, it just functions differently on phone, tablet, and tv, or are they all seperate apks? Also, I've never used a Revue or any of the google tv boxes, does the google music app function well on there from a ui and ease standpoint? Thanks!
There are quite a few threads about Spotify for Nexus Player, but I was hoping to find the apk of the Spotify that pops up on Google Chromecast when you cast to it. When you put Spotify on your Nexus Player, it's very hard to control and you might as well use your phone or tablet to control it anyways. At least with the version that comes on Chromecast will show the album art. Has anyone looked into this? Would it work the same as on Chromecast, to where you can cast Spotify to your Nexus Player? Maybe edit it somehow to play in the background when you return to the home screen like you do with Google Music?

The Chromecast version is a website being casted as that's how Chromecast works. There's no APK as it's not an app.

I've got a Problem regarding the Voice Control Features for Music Playback on Android Wear.
I often use it to quickly start listening to Music of a certain Artist, by saying something like: play [artist].
But when doing this on my Moto 360 it always launches the SoundCloud app and searches for the corresponding Artist there.
However, I want this to be done with Google Play Music or the Music app provided by CM11.
When using Google Now on my Phone (LG G3 running CM11) I can choose which app should be used for Playback and it always uses my Preset.
I have "Music Playback" set to Play Music in the Android Wear Application and reset any default Actions in the app Directory of the Phone Settings.
I hope that someone maybe had the same Issue and/or knows a Way around it.

I've tested several music apps, but these apps can only control the music on my phone but don't play/stream it on my watch.

so I have two phones: old p8 lite and my actual phone RN4.
I want to change p8 lite into media receiver and force RN4 to use it while play music from music players and youtube.
I found some apps, but it's work only if I'm streaming via special app. I cant use with youtube.
Any suggestion how to do it?
E: Okey, I almost done it. BubbleUPnP work good as server, but now I need sender app works like audio capture on RN4. Players are not good enought to play youtube playlist or radio apps.
