Error in flashing stock rom - Realme 6 Questions & Answers

I tried flashing the stock rom using the stock recovery v1.2. But, I get the error "The installed version is lower than current". I don't what to do. Does it mean that I have to use an older version of the stock rom or a newer one?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you ask your question here you're more likely to get it solved.
And if you're just looking for changing your firmware to 2.3.x or CM7 or MIUI you can have a look here and flash one of the firmwares go give your device a boost in performance + durability.
Ill help you out.
Super one Click will root your device.
If you want to then flash custom ROMS then you need to "fix" 3e recovery.
And then use a clockworkmod update.zip (from Rom Manager)
However if you want to go strait to a custom rom, you don't even need to root.
Just flash an odin kernel that has clockworkmod recovery (Speedmod). Then go to recovery and flash your favorite ROM (already rooted, tweaks, features, etc).
Note: always make a backup of your stuff.
If anything goes wrong you can Odin/Heimdall back to stock
Then restore your stuff.

Error....

i've rooted my android, and using rom toolbox pro deleted some in built apps, now i'm facing problem when ever i open contacts. This message pop out all the time, even i've restored it to factory default.
The Process
android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly please try again.
I would recommend flashing a new rom for your device.
Factory default does not reinstall missing system files

[Q] Android 4.2.2 Stock installation

I am currently running an international one x+ factory unlocked, with superCID and s-OFF(lucky me ). Naturally, I cannot revive any software updates. I have an nandroid backup of the 4.2.2 stock sense 5 rom, and I have already flashed the firmware for sense 5. However when it comes to the rom installation I am not sure, as I have stock recovery. Is it possible to install with stock recovery? I know the stock rom requires full stock to work. Can someone please provide a guide, or an instruction set?

Another solution. If anyone can link an OTA that I can flash to the RUU, that would work too

I can't upgrade w/ custom kernel.

Hi,
I have an i9300, stock ROM version 4.1.2 and baseband i9300xxema5 w/ custom kernal 3.0.31-Siyah-1.9.1+.
When I try to upgrade, it says my system has been modified.
What steps should I take in upgrading? Bear in mind that I want to keep all my files intact.
Should I begin by finding the stock kernal? Would that work? or should I find a stock 4.4 rom and flash it? But then, I'd lose my files. I don't want that. .-.
You have to install stock ROM via Odin.

status 7 error while installing ROM in 4.3 android version

Hi All,
Sorry if the same question is being asked over and over again, but I am not able to find correct solution for my problem.
Well, the basic problem is status -7 error. but I want to know if I am using the correct version of CWM, ROM etc.
My Mobile model: GT I9300(Indian model- GSM)
Android version-4.3
baseband versionI9300DDUGNB1
Kernel - 3.0.31-2363855
Build # JSS15J.I9300XWUGML4
ClockworkMod recovery v6.0.3.2
ROM Manager Version 5.5.3.7
CMW Manger v3.55
Roms I tried to install are cm-11-20140918-NIGHTLY-i9300.zip and Paranoid Android downloaded from the below links respectilvey:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-9-nightly-builds-t1714354
and http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/orig-development/aospaandroid-4-4-2-kvt49l-t1745003.
With the help of Root checker i can say that the Root is granted properly.
Is my recovery version good? Coz, i have used a prior version( 3.xx) and it was working fine(though it was showing status 7 error), ie., for backup and restore, but in the version6.0.3.2, even taking a backup isn't properly done.
also, are the ROMS am using correct for my S3?
Please help me install new ROM.
TIA.

You will need this CM11 version, better Snapshot than Nightly: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=i9300
Than you will also need the latest recovery, I prefer Philz Touch Recovery: http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/i9300/philz_touch_6.48.4-i9300.tar.md5 (flash it in odin)
Last I would recommand a Googy-Max Kernel like this one here: http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/i9300/philz_touch_6.48.4-i9300.tar.md5

Error 7 means your recovery is to old to flash kitkat roms
Your recovery needs to be updated to install any kitkat roms.
