Bug Reporting
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.
Current Bugs - SeLinux permissive. You tell us if encounter any issues through the bug report.

Well I tried it an have decided it is not for minor geeks like me. I am currently using a fastboot miui image in an attempt to get rid of it. The main issue was that it cannot be connected to any form of data.
Tried every way i know to connect data an had wifi only. Other bugs include lag an games 'just games' from the playstore downloading past thier size an never ending downloading.
I am prepared to give it another try.
After the no data issue is resolved.
I thought it might be that you need to flash miui or another rom an make a back up of data before flashing this GSI.
Good first effort guys but I was unable to get it working?

Thanks. I just got it back with Miui an Orange Fox. is there a link or guide for setting APN manually? I thought it might be to do with needing to flash a DTBO boot an data back up to the right place.
But that sounds easier lol.
Care to share a link for a manual guide?
I mean its very snappy an the lag was only when I opened some applications. It also does that with most roms.

Happened to me too. Fixed by the right firmware flashed an reflash with Gapps at the same time as rom. before boot to system. If gapps wont flash in recovery then reboot to recovery an reflash gapps
Worked for me.
The right firmware is in the comments. Its 12.0.3.0 or 12.0.4.0?

This ROM was created by Martin Coulon (@martinusbe) one of the lead devs at Ground Zero Roms. This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to finish. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happily intoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.
Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

Did you mess with the settings? Like the video? Change it to 4k? That issue? If so after reboot change back to 1080p should fix. Hope this helps

Nothing was tampered with. The app didn't even open to begin with for me to change any settings to it. I also tried to do a clean install and the first thing I did was install CameraNextMod without messing with anything else. The app just force closed and never opened.
One of the best ROM. Downloaded, Flashed and running for almost 5 hours.
I have a question is there any setting to disable floating status bar.
Another request: please consider aligning left clock in clock & date settings!
Thanks for this beautiful ROM.

Not sure what the issue might be then? Bad download? I have CameraNext Mod on my OPO works great, unless you know you change the video settings to 4k and then it goes to potts. After a quick reboot and reset the settings its fine. You should probably get a log of it when it crashes but then again it sounds more like the app then anything, since atleast two of us testers are using the same app and it works.

Its odd. First: it cannot replace with stock recovery, because recovery is not flashed with rom.
So, replace your recovery with twrp, wipe all and reflash rom.
After boot, a message will appear, just press 'wait'.
There are Some issues!
Battery Drain, I'm getting less than 2 hours SOT and less than 6 hrs of Stand by time.
Also vibration is not working.

Any one
I will make an update next days. I was searching and the wifi tethering is an issue in almost all devices running aoscp 5.1 (android 8.1).
The navigation buttons are set to shown allways on, and like I noticed the settings for buttons is incomplete. I will try to fix it in next build and the vibration to.
Just a little patience.
Thank you for using my build and for your answers.

i flashed rom but video record and wifi not work
Hi
I've installed this as directed above. First time it was stuck in fast boot mode. Later I've flashed twrp and wiped cache and flashed ROM and GApps. One booted, error message saying " Android.phone.com" stopped working. When I ordered wait. It will come to home screen and rebooting. Thus is repeating. Now I have to search another suitable ROM

Lock Screen doesn't work well
When I set the lock screen password and try to unlock it, the system interface is stuck and cannot be operated. The device must be deleted by clearing the data to delete the lock screen password. Is there any way to fix this?
Note: Working fine in Android 7.1

Candy Pie! I'm all set up and running smoothly with no issues so far, thanks for the rom. :good: I'm hoping some more customizations will be added soon. Is there an option for swapping the nav buttons that I am missing?? I can't find it if there is.....

That's why they call it "building" roms! It's very smooth and fluid, it'll be nice to see the progression. I like SmartBar and haven't really adopted "the pill" yet, so that will be a great add! Cheers
How do you get a auto face unlock?
Is that face unlock in oos or like the trusted face?

Same thing lol. Make sure you have a PIN or some device locking set up, then you need to allow it by going to Settings > Security > Advanced > Trust Agents and enabling Smart Lock (Google). Then, face unlock becomes available.
Hey there!
I know that this may sound like a silly question but I have been out of the flashing game for a couple of years now so I am a bit cautious. I am on OOS 5.1.7 (no root or custom recovery yet), after flashing twrp will this be a problem when flashing the rom?
Additionally can I also flash SuperSU instead of magisk for root access?
Thank you

Uhhhh... lol Are you bootloader unlocked? If not, it will wipe your device. I'd suggest reading up on the process before diving in.
As far as SuperSU... I wouldn't. It was sold off to some Chinese company a while back... Magisk 17.3 is available and recommended if you want to root. You can use the Magisk app to not only manage root access but to hide root from certain apps (Android Pay, for example).
This ROM is nearly flawless. VoLTE works, SafetyNet pass with Magisk. There's some minor stutter here and there and for some reason I can't see Trusted Face in Smart Lock even after installing a full gApps package.
Also, is there a custom kernel available to use with Pie?
Hi! Nice Rom, I have a bug with volume buttons. Sometimes when I press up button or down button only change 1 value and when I press again change -1. I don't know why. Best regards

thank you, I have the bootloader unlocked from settings, but if I got you right since it will wipe the internal memory I will need an otg to hold the rom until the process is complete, right?

PixelOS is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, themed icons, google sans fonts, Monet color based system wide theming, boot animation), a fork of OG Pixel Experience with improvements on the top of it. Huge respect to Pixel Experience team for their work, thanks to them for making this ROM possible.
In short a fully functional Pixel Experience with just the right amount of essentials.

Awesome! Previously on PE+ but it suddenly has a high battery drain, so switch to this to have similar experience. So far so good!
My only feedback is double tap to sleep doesn't seem to work, also I'm missing slide status bar to adjust brightness.
Thanks OP!
New HotFix Update Up!
Download
Changelog:
- Revert A12 Blobs in dt (Didn't broke anything but to make sure)
- Fixed Status bar too above
Notes:
- Fw 12.5.3.0 global
I have been using this for two days now and honestly this the most polished Pixel rom I've seen for this phone. Battery life is much better than PE+ and no bugs anywhere to be found. Great job, hope it doesn't get abandoned.

I am not sure what features this ROM has that other Pixel-style ROMs don't. I think, maybe, the answer is none? However, it is very stable, and battery life seems a lot better than what I got with Pixel Experience.
I'll probably try some others too, but will come back to this given how stable and efficient it seems. Are there any killer features of this ROM that I'm missing? Also, are there plans to make this official, so that it can get updates through OTA?
No mobile data connection, like PixelPlusUI. Don't understand it, in Pixel experince worked...

Solved thx.
But I have another problem. Reboot takes forever and system starts UI crash. But if I tap next to the message, or push back button, the message disappear and system works.
Now I have data connection, but I can't call, and nobody can call me.... If I delete APN settings no call, no data connection.... Very good.
Can the search bar in the homescreen be removed?
Best rom ever in my k30 pro zoom.
Thanks!!!
Hello, thank you for your efforts. I want to raise a question. It seems that Unicom SIM card can not be used normally. I have tried many APNs, but I can't dial and answer them. I can surf the Internet normally
(I use translation software. Maybe you don't understand it.)
Still using this ROM, waiting patiently for the next update!
I think my only gripe is somehow on some game (eg. Brawl Stars) it lag sometimes. But COD runs smooth. I notice some jitter here and there, but overall seems smooth.
