This is really surprising me either.
After testing CrDroid 7.2/7.3 for a week, I am "definitely" back to it with latest V14 release.
Battery drain is outstandingly controlled and Safety net is PASS without Magisk .
Nothing to add...
EDIT: Gcam 7.3 and 8.1 are also working well.

After updating, the camera and flashlight does not work for me on my Redmi Note 9s.
Just a minor addition to the original question, Which ROM is best for gaming? Like I have tested Project Arcana, Corvus, Cherish, Evolution X till now. I am looking for the unlocked higher FPS in game and constant FPS. Please suggest a suitable kernel too.

for me best rom is aex and havoc with pitch black recovery - before flashing any rom plz wipe data,delvic,cache,system.vendor ,cust for better experience and flash gapps with rom.

I've only had tried out crDroid and Pixel Experience from that list, and from 2 of those Pixel Exp is way better.
Mostly due to stability issues with crDroid.

you should try aex ,it is the most stable oreo rom for me.

Alright. After trying all. i came to conclusion, best rom is AEX
Aex is the most stable Oreo rom for 4a/5a and also battery / performance is super good, also u will receive frequent updates most of the time every month.
AEX is seriously the best ROM. All other Oreo ROMs consume lot of battery.
Alright.. recent aosp extended has bugs, random bootloops too.
Recent pixel experience 8.1 is amazing ROM
So my vote now goes to pixel experience 8.1 . Almost everything works, stable. Unfortunately I can't change vote lol

I have found DOT OS ... ULTRA STABLE.. i dont like AEX .. bcz usual appearence... HAVOC OS.. consumes battery A LOT.. so.. DOT OS.
.

cause i was thinking to move on official revengeos, because its a official one so its better
right now im on crdroid 7.2 (android 11) but my cod mobile closes itself and i have storage lag problems so it takes time to go in download folder.
i already tested : pixel experience plus (android 10), evolution x 5.2 (android 11)
if you have (android 11) custom roms for gaming on mi note 10 lite, please recommend them.
tho i do think official revengeos would be great as its official.

Lineage is the most stable, ArrowOS has a best battery life one and crDroidOS gives a lot of customization.

I made a recent discovery for my J600G, try using Corvus OS by @bennychs61.
It has android 11 and works quite well than EvolutionX 4,1, HavocOS 3.3.
Battery life is great when used with Ryzen kernel.
I'm currently searching for a good ROM for mido that is fast and stable
I was unsatisfied with Pixel Experience as it was too slow and "glitchy" at times. What do you guys think?
