Does it have it out of the box? I have the pad already for my dinc 2
No the battery cover that comes with it will not do wireless charging. I think there is already a long post about this.

DIY Qi Wireless Charging Case

I ordered mine this morning!! YAY
The first thing I'm going to do is work on plans for doing a Qi Wireless charging case. I figured I would use a thick piece of wood (or 3D printed piece of plastic ) as the "case" with a cut out for the Qi parts salvaged from something found on eBay or Amazon (from a iPhone charge case etc) and connect it all via the magnetic charge port. What I was hoping to figure out is if anyone knows the positive or negative sites on the magnetic charge connector?? Or does it even matter?
I know this project will add some bulk to the already large device, but I really would like wireless charging as I have fallen in love with it!!
Thanks in advance!
David
One thing to factor in mind is the slow charging rates with wireless charging.
With the quick charge function on the S800, you can probably go from 0-100 in 2hours. Whereas with wireless charging it could take 8+ hours. Great if you just want to leave it on your desk at work I guess, but from personal experience with modding the note 2 to be wireless charging compatible, it was rarely a practical as I always used the cable > wireless.

I pretty much use wireless charging exclusively with my Nexus 4 and I have never had a problem with it.
Thanks for the reply though!!

Wireless Charger [Q]

Ok So i plan to buy this wireless charger from ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/301026832764?var=600172813833&ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
Its $36 but i had a few question.
1. I see that this charger says output 600ma. Is that low for a wireless charger?
I have seen some that are 500ma. and i believe the phone would be 1.5a via cable right?
2. If its plug into the charger and i sat it on the wireless pad, will there be any problems?
I plan to put the wireless pad where i normally lay my phone. At night i will plug the phone up via normal charger.
3. What is the range on these chargers?
I was thinking about buying a second one for the car. I currently have a sticky pad i put my phone on so it doesnt slide around while
driving.
Would i be able to put that sticky pad on top of the wireless base and then lay my phone on top of that and still have it charger?
I believe the stickey pad is about a 1mm or 2 thick.
If any of you think there is a better charger for around the same price please post up.
I look for a very days and found that one and it seems like a good deal to me but idk.
I would try looking around in here or asking some people in here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2438168
Good Luck!
Mod Edit
As ZOOPidy says, there is already a thread for this.

Question about the wireless charging pad?

Hey guys! Bought the official samsung charging pad today, for novelty factor more so then anything else if im honest! It was €55 to buy online here in Ireland (which is crazy money) but i got it along with a case for only €40 as part of a deal so i thought why the hell not. It came without a cable so naturally i assume i must use the fast charge cable with it? Here are a few questions i have.........
If using the fast charging cable with it , does that mean i will be getting fast charging capabilities from it? (iam assuming not)
If its generally not a good idea to use fast charge plugged in over night then does this apply to the wireless pad in conjunction with the fast charger?
And lastly. Can i run the cable from the usb port on my computer or does it have to be plugged in to a socket when using the wireless pad? The answers may seem obvious but just asking none the less! Not taking any chances with this baby ha
I have four of them. Two of the small rectangular ones from last year, and two of the newer round ones from this year, so I'll take a stab at your questions.

I have not seen, nor did I expect to see, any difference using a fast-charger vs. standard. As such, I only use standard charger adapters for wireless duty.

My S6 Edge stops charging while on either version of the wireless charging pad, once it reaches 100%. The light on the (newer, round) pad goes from blue to green once it has reached this point.

Unless your PC can source 2A from the USB port, then, no, you cannot use your PC USB port to power the wireless charging pad.
Any idea where i could get a longer geniune samsung charging cable so? I bought the wireless pad for use at a desk but the cable on the fast charger is too small to reach from the socket to the desk! I would need the cable to be at least another foot or two longer
Questions belong in Q&A, not General.
Thank you.
I have a question I'd like to add!
I've never used wireless charging before, can you use it on the s6 edge with a case on the phone? Does this impede the wireless charging? Thanks!

Impede? Yes.
Any distance between the surface of the charging-pad and the back of your phone will impact the wireless inductive charging. The less, the better.
Also, obviously, any case that includes conductive materials will be a non-starter.
That said, my Speck case and my wife's (brand unknown at this moment) case work satisfactorily with both the Samsung round and rectangular charging pads. I have read that there are people that have had poor wireless charging experiences with some (probably thicker, more rugged) cases.
Searching should find the specifics.

suggestions for a qi wireless charger

Dears, the title says it all: looking for a good inductive charger to be used with the x2 pro. Unfortunately, all the qi chargers I've seen are typically 10 to 15W in output... I assume that a complete charge would require hours.
Is there any better product on the market? I've seen a 20W wireless charger by xiaomi but price is quite high...
It doesnt have wireless charging capability at all.
Sure? I heard about inductive charge capability on the x2 pro, maybe it was just a garbage technical spec page on Web. Can anyone with an iq charger try?
Sadly doesnt work, I even tried it with my wireless charger.
I charge every night with oneplus 5t dashcharge. It's fast enough
If someone gives you a 30min full charge, whay do you need a 2,5 hours charge? This phone is very fast on charging, the fastest one you can get at the moment around 400€, so wireless is a no no for this phone.
Why you need wireless charger when you're using X2 pro?
Well guys, it could be useful at work when you already have other qi compliant devices. A simple pad on the desk and all you have to do is put the phone over it. Who cares about charging speed when you have to spend the entire day at work ?
Anyway, since it's now official that the x2 pro doesn't support inductive charge, any question falls.
