S21 blue tint when viewed from an angle - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

When viewing my S21 straight on colours are accurate but when viewing from an angle of about 30 degrees I have a strong blue tint.
I know AMOLED screens do get colour shift but this is stronger than I expected, do all S21s do this?

No issues on my S10 AMOLED display.
You can try to adjust colours in settings - display with several options. And there are color filters you can set in settings - accessibility - visibility enhancements.
Maybe it helps ... a little bit.

Different brightness issue, washed out colours?

Had my s6e a week now and right from the start I've noticed an issue with the screen colours on full brightness.
When in bright light something happens that makes all the colours look washed out and slightly pink. I've never noticed this on my previous galaxy devices and it's really dissapointing
It seems to be related to the auto brightness glitch as it does this whether auto brightness is switched on or not. When in bright sunlight it switches into a mode where all the colours look faded and horrible. When I cover the front camera area or turn the brightness down it switches back to normal.
I've tried changing from adaptive to cinema mode etc and it seems to make no difference.
Has anyone else noticed the change in colours or have I just got a dud?
Sounds like the extreme brightness mode Samsung implemented on the Note 4. If so, that's how it's supposed to look in direct sunlight to make it easier to see.

Could be, looks awful tho :/
It does. I think the idea was to optimize contrast to make the screen visible at the expense of accuracy and saturation.
I'm having the same problem with my S7 Edge. Had it a week and then the colors just started to wash out on everything. All themes, all screens. Nothing fixes it. I hold it next to my S6 Edge with the same theme and the difference in colors is drastic. It looks terrible.

Best screen color calibration galaxy a5 2017?

I've noticed that when I watch youtube videos the people's skin looks a little bit yellowish and in general I don't like in general that the yellow seems a little bit off .How do you have your own color balance?
There is no best when it comes to colors, you can change the colors in the display setting to what ever you like.

Color saturation & accuracy

If you're colorblind, please disregard this thread. Rate this thread to express how you deem the color saturation and accuracy of the Realme X2 Pro's display. A higher rating indicates that you think that color accuracy is very high and saturation is excellent.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Has anyone got green tint on the screen? Similar to Mate 20 Pro?
greenish tint, besides this good colors
I have a greenish tint on my X2 Pro but I don't know the one of the Mate 20 Pro.
The tint is visible in any brightness but more with low brightness. In low brightness I recognize it without any reference, in higher brightness it's easier to see if you compare it with another display. DC dimming on/off and warmer/cooler color temperature setting doesn't matter. It's still OK, even though I'd like to have a better display.
Besides this greenish tint the colors look quite good but a tad to much saturated (even in "Gentle"/sRGB color mode).
I think its really not top notch but average for the market.
The green tint looks to be on all Samsung oleds presently to different degrees... I've personally seen it on S10, S10 plus, note 10 plus, X2 pro, op7t, and recently my brother bought a galaxy S6 tab and it's also on that.
I've also seen people saying they have it on the mi9t pro and and iPhone X.
Blue light filter turns on automatically
The blue light filter turns on between sunset and sunrise even though I've turned off the eye comfort setting and set the colour temperature to cool. Does anyone know a fix for this?
Press "Eye comfort" on the Left and you will enter the "Eye comfort" mode and you will find all the options and you can cut time And thus cut the hours of Programming. I hope I helped you!!! So if you understood correctly you must "Press" on the writing "Comfort of the eyes"

Issue about Realme XT Amoled Display True deep blacks.

Hello RXT Users,
I bought a new Realme XT (6GB,64GB, Pearl White) Mobile, which works like a beast.
But within a week, I accidently noticed that the true deep blacks of Amoled display actually kills the surrounding Grey colour pixels especially in videos (or moving frames).
When I using Instagram, Samsung just posted some photos. when I try to swipe one photo horizontally, I noticed that the gradient colours (White to black) are like vanished some time and and a bluish shade is appearing btw the blacks and whites.
Then I started comparing this with other LCD panel, which is not doing these weird things. I also did a side by side comparison btw Realme XT and other LCD display by playing a dark horror movie. The results came was not expected.
First things first, the picture quality, colours, contrast and viewing angles are awesome in Amoled display, But the grey coloured details which are nearer to the black pixels are missing, they are completely gone.
Example:
• Original frame in the movie - A dark room with cupboards and interior.
• Picture shown in LCD display - white blushed dark room with cupboards and interior.
• Picture shown in Realme XT - A Deep Dark Black room with no interiors no cupboards or even no walls.
I can't understand why the Amoled display takes more time when pixels changes from black to grey colours, may it's because of low refresh rate.
Can anyone please tell the display refresh rate of Realme XT and try the above tests to clarify that I am not the only one who got these weird thing. Thanks in advance.
Note: I am using Amoled display for the first time.
This is quite disturbing to know. I was planning on buying XT and returning my Poco armoured, as it has ghost touch issues and I don't need that much processor power for daily usage.
Also, with XT getting started on development I hope I won't miss Poco. But with the above-mentioned issue, I'm getting skeptical because my primary reason to get XT was AMOLED display. I don't want to get disappointed by it.
Although it doesn't has ambient display and dark mode yet but I hope it'll be there in future updates.
Sent from my POCO F1 using XDA Labs
After reading this post I checked my xt's display for the greys in dark scenes with my le 2 LCD display and I'm pretty satisfied. I was able to see most of the details of dark scenes that was visible on the other phone. Plus I found it's very vibrant as compared to the le 2 and brightness level is also much better.

S7+ AMOLED quality?

Hi all,
I would like to get some feedback on the AMOLED display quality in regards to uniformity when displaying a grey screen?
Did Samsung improve anything here or do the AMOLEDs still have clouding issues and the displays are not really uniform?
I have a Tab S3 and Tab S4 both with some clouding visible especially when displaying grey and dark grey.
Thanx in advance,
am
From what I have seen the AMOLED display on the SGTS7+ is actually pretty good for watching videos, the colors are excellent and so are the blacks.
It's an excellent display, as long as you use it over 30% brightness
As soon as you dive under 30%, it's a color-calibration sh**show, with a huge green tint issue (pretty much the same thing for any high-refresh rate displays of 2020. This issue was fixed by the following generation of displays, with the help of LTPO technonology)
I use it 5-6h per day as laptop replacement, and it's a blast during day time. But as soon as I want to watch movie at night time, the green tint forces me to push the brightness higher than my eyes wished.
The severity of the green tint will vary from one unit to another, but no one is spared.
