So I used anti theft lock service that came with Kitkat inbuilt. I have lost the password since my other hard drive has crashed. I had it in my hard disk and now it cannot be recovered. I am in a deep trouble, while swapping my sim card the phone locked itself and it asked for password. I do not remember what it is because it didn't need to be put while using the same sim and it has been a long time. I read about it on lots of places that it cannot be recovered. I tried hard reset too, it still asks for the password. I found somewhere that, the only way to unlock it is by rooting the device then installing a custom ROM in it. But I have tried rooting this phone before too but no software could root it. I didn't find a guide on google too except for two that is in XDA forum too but never worked on any of my Intex devices. I need to use this phone since it's my primary phone. Please help me with this.

accidentally i got my bootloader locked with mi flash tool.......but flashed stock rom successfully.....
after booting into the rom, it is asking for a password to unlock phone(mi account password)......
ive entered password but it says the password is wrong and also the weird fact is that the mi account that it asked was not mine ......
iam seeing a different xiaomi account ID ......
i was unable to get into my phone or change the recovery(as the bootloader got locked)......
any help please guys........

I have a Redmi Note 4 Mediatek, bought in China. I used it till Q1 2018, after flashing a global rom (thanks to cofface tutorial on this forum).
I want to reset it but I forgot my mi account password and do not have anymore the phone number I used to create it. (shame on me, I didn't set email or phone recovery). I tried to ask for manual reset on Xiaomi website but it always get rejected (I don't know why). However I still remember my phone password so I can access the settings.
Then I wanted to reset it through TWRP, but I am unable to enter recovery mode, my display shows the device + a cable plugged in... and nothing happens...
I tried reflashing TWRP but it didn't change anything.
Any idea how I could solve this ?

My friend gave me his Poco F1 to use it but the issue here is that it has his old account which he didnt sign out of.The phone is completely reset and locked.To further use the phone i need to log in with his account. He doesnt remember the credentials that he used with that particular account (ph.no, password or ID).Im unable to do anything just stuck on the screen where it says "This device is locked".The Bootloader is locked too pretty much cant do anything.
Can anyone help me with this. How to get the phone working.

I've been struggling for days now to find out how to unlock bootloader on RedMi Note 10 Pro.
A friend of mine has forgotten his screen lock pattern.
I've done a device reset wiping away all datas.
While reconfiguring it I keep hanged on Android FRP protection: although I am using the same google account I keep having the "something went wrong" error message.
What I wanted to do, then, is reflash MIUI Standard ROM, but can't succeed as bootloader isn't unlocked and no developer options have been turned on on device.
Can someone please point me to the solution?

Phone is REDMI NOTE 10 PRO - M2101K6G - Maybe I posted it in the wrong section...
I've managed to update ROM to MIUI 14 using XiaoMiTool V2.
Unfortunately I didn't got rid of Android FRP.
I've got access to the google account used on the phone before resetting it (password, phone number, recovery email).
But if I use the account during phone configuration, android asks for the account previously used on the phone... which is exactly the one I used!
Actually I'm locked out of my own phone!
Any help will be appreciated.
